Hadnt realised what sort of cache this was (even though its all in the title), and on approach noticed something sticking out the bottom! Presuming this was the cache I tried to wiggle it out..unsuccessfully. Thanks to my phone torch I saw what I had to do. Back to the car for a TOTT and after a bit of fishing, finally retrieved the 'part 1' !! Rather surprised that it wasnt the cache. Another look around revealed the prize! Very clever concept and a fave point. TFTC
A maintenance check was conducted on Saturday 16/3/2024.The following actions were undertaken:* Got the fishing rod unstuck* Replaced zip lock bag.

Full time nomads since February 2014, here to visit family.
Mr Felix headed out with SpatialRiq and TheMachman for a days caching. The plan was hatched for a duck run but of course they just couldn't go past all those other caches!
A fun day out with friends, long time between caching runs together. Loved your work here.

Quick and easy find. Nice container, hardest part was opening the lid, nearly gave up.

Quick find but got bitten but ants while extracting the cache. Signed and returned as found. Tftc
Out with Meme28 today collecting some caches before the AGM. All caches found in good condition. Thanks for placing for our enjoyment.
ICNothing and I cruised around the area picking up smilies. Logged and replaced as found. FP for the fun
Had a chat as we were driving around to this cache about what we thought we would be up against, the terrain not matching our discussions we were intrigued as what the challenge would be.
Once at GZ things fell into place quickly and after a bit of team work to retrieve the provided tool (it had fallen off its perch) I was angling for the find and after a couple of dropped hooks I managed to land the container into hand.
With signing completed we made sure to get everything back as intended and headed on our way.
A brilliant cache and experience well deserving of favourite.

With the new months souvenir challenge starting SirFancy and I decided to head up to the Applecross and Myaree areas to tackle some of the caches from Lachlan1.77 & duck43.
We grabbed others that we passed along the way and had a great night out finding some of the best caches available in the Perth metro area, lots of favourite points added along the way too.
At the end of a much later than usual night out and about we finished up with 12 finds & 1 DNF and 5 labs completed.

Really loved this one. Well thought out. Great coords and cache. Definitely a fave. Thanks for the excellent cache
Another brilliant Lachlan creation! No muggle activity in the park, so could fish without any audience. A favourite of course.
With iluvtrekking for the day - we enjoyed and signed the log. [^]

This is cool.
My gps took me walkabout for this one, so I had to use my geosense.
I overlooked something that could have been helpful to get to the log a bit quicker, but managed to finally get my hands on it nonetheless.
Have another fave point to add to the pile. TFTC!

Was here for a Valentine’s Day Hash run with Friday hash house harriers. Great cache!! TFTC
Will make this cache a non premium cache again. Please be wary of muggles throughout the Winter soccer season however. Thanks.
Out for a morning ride at the start of the 3 2 1 souvenir challenge. Arrived at GZ and spotted something straight away. I thought 'that was easy' then I looked at what I had found. Mmmm there is more to this one. I eventually managed to hook my fish and reel it in. It was wet on the outside but the contents were nice and dry.

Very cute cache! Nice artistic skills Lachlan
I didn’t need to get the rod for this one, I used my torch to locate the cache (and possibly any nasties) then reached in.
Very tricky with so many muggles walking dogs and cars going by, endless!
Thank you for this fun hide

Love it! Despite the warnings I did find this while attending the daughters Sunday soccer match but not to stress, all the players and parents were focused elsewhere. Have a fave. Left a TB. TFTC Lachlan1.77
Tool has been found in a broken state, replaced incorrectly. My friend has taken it in and will see if it's possible to do some temporary repairs to the tool.
Found the tool quite quickly, getting the actual cache took some time with muggles and traffic. Returned cache and took as found TFTC
My maintainer (while I am in Japan) dropped by to replace the log and return the 'tool' so that is it back in place correctly. The 'tool' will be muggled by the council workers if it is returned incorrectly, as it will be visible! I won't be able to replace the tool until August and don't want to disable the cache for long periods of time.
**PLEASE RETURN THE FISHING ROD AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE ROD!**

This was a quick find this morning and I left the tool in exactly the same way as I found it. However, when I came to logging this cache an hour later I realised that the tool must have been returned wrongly last time and now I realise how it should have been left. Too late for me to return to fix it. There was no cache sheet so I found a bit of paper in my tool bag on my bike and tried to sign it. It's paper that is very hard to write on. Next cacher might like to bring some better paper, and return the tool to its rightful position (using the hook I presume). Thanks for the cache Lachlan1.77.
Tool has gone missing. Need to buy and fix up a new one. Will also use the opportunity to remove the cache and give it some fresh paint work before I go away.
Us crazy people decided to head out caching on a 40 degree day....so we were praying for quick finds
What an awesome cache!!!! added a favourite point here. Absolutely loved it, wish we had our older kids with us as they would have loved it too! Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

A great hide and a fantastic cache to enter the new year in. Potentially my last in WA as the family and I move to Melbourne permanently after visiting family for Xmas. TFTC Lachlan.
In the area and spotted this one.
A very cool cache which I will bring my youngest back to try as well.

Out and about today picking up a few smilies here and there. This wasn't what I was expecting at all. The grounds were devoid of any activity so it was a nice easy find once at GZ. A very clever idea, awarding a favourite.
Lachlan1.77 I found your cache at 2:11pm, this was the 6th of 7 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 4890. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

I had plenty of time this morning, so I continued to this hide before heading towards Freo and up to work. I found the tool before the cache but I didn't need it. I wrangled the cache bare handed; well, I was wearing a long cycling glove as protection in case they were biting. Advantage of having little limbs. Thanks for the clever hide. Another favourite from me more for your accuracy of coordinates than anything else. I have had 1m reading on all three of your hides over the past 2 days which always makes for pleasant caching.
Felt just a wee bit exposed here but luckily it was a fairly quick park and grab and given the afternoon was looking just a tad bleak it made the area fairly sparse in terms of muggles and the log could be entered without too much attention. Thanks for a great effort here. All's holding up well with the cache. Thanks Lachlan1.77.
I have been working on something similiar. Great cache and good one for the kids. TFTC.
Out cleaning up a few more of those green boxes on the map and turning them into smiley faces. Only had time for a few as the dog was at grooming and had to be picked up. Managed to find the ones I was looking for without getting wet. A quick find of this nvel cache a fav point for this one TFTC Lachlan1.77
