Well well. Thanks for showing us this spot. When arrived here found nothing but after reading previous logs I had to go back and have one more look. Nice Guys where near GZ and they found it! They also knew it about geocaching .... TFTC FP for story and location.

Sneaky place well done

Was in TK for a family event so decided afterwards that a short drive to try again was in order, easily found and signed.

Arrived at GZ and spent a while doing a through search, was pondering on where to look and what the clue meant and then I noticed something out of place, upon closer inspection the cleaver hide was discovered, but the container was missing........

With an early meeting in Auckland and now heading back to Hamilton a little diversion and I had the place to myself. As per the last cacher, I noted that the cache is missing, and after searching the area it was not to be found, so in the effort to help a fellow cacher I replaced the container with something familiar to many in the exact place of the original. With the past muggling of the cache here, I would suggest this may not be the best placemnt
Thanks for the placement

Had spent the day in Auckland for work and decided a bit of a detour on the way home was a good idea. There was one other car here, but they had set up camp around the corner from GZ, so they weren't a problem when I hunted for the cache. Missed what I was looking for initially and it wasn't until a few minutes later that it all sunk into place. A nicely set up cache.

re set cache after it was muggled. Repaired container.

Out and about for some cache detection on this generally fine spring day. I am heading south but made sure to detour of state highway one to collect this hide alng the way. I parked up and immediately found the cache as it was on the ground in front of my car. Further more it was open with its contents strewn nearby. Looks like it has been muggled already I am afraid. I signed the log book and put everything back into the cache as it was all nice and dry. A short search and I soon realised where it was suppose to be and how it had originally been set up. Unfortunately, try as I might, I couldn't put things back as intended. So, I have left the cache hooked up on the nearby hook. It will need some CO attention to get it going properly again. Anyway, nice enough spot for a cache. The water was rather choppy with all the wind. Cheers for the cache placement!

Out an about today getting info for the Eyes, and starting this latest challenge.

This was a really well done cache! FP for being a little more unique, it's nice to see a few of these around, we've had them in the past, but they never seem to last long, so hopefully this lasts longer! Almost got muggled by a dude on a pushbike who I never saw or heard haha. Nice little out of the way spot though.

TFTC outinabout44, the cache was found in good order Very Happy Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 2 find(s) of 3 today, making this find #1824

We were aiming to turn some frowns upside down today... Clearing out some former DNFs in the Waikato. We planned to go further north, but sacrificed an early start in order to have a sleep in and breakfast in town. This significantly lowered our potential finds, but sometimes it's worth taking time out for little things...

We sneaked further north than expected, but had made good time with our earlier finds... We were a bit confused with the ground zone and started with an approach from above. After reading the description, we realised there had to be a lower access. Right away, we spotted the cache and worried that this was going to be a climb outside of our ability today. Then we spotted something... From there, it was smooth sailing, until the 9-year old let go. The soft, clay soil made for lots of slip and slide, but we managed to get the job done.

We are quite impressed with this hide, considering the CO has not recorded any cache finds. Just goes to prove that one does not always have to have bulk finds under their belt to produce a great hide. Well done! TFTC.

Find number 4155. I received notification of the new cache while I was getting a FTF in Raglan. So I forgot about it until I got home after my grocery shop. Checked and there were still no logs so I thought I would go for another drive. Originally parked on the road and made my way down the slope (terrain 2??). Spotted the cache but could not get my hands on it. (D2T2??). I needed a TOTT that I did not have in the car. So I PAF. So while I waited I went and brought car down to GZ and enjoyed the setting sun. On arrival of ABCDF4 and eyespyben we contimplated options before spotting an easy way to retrieve the cache. No TOTT was needed. This done the log was signed and the hide returned to it's spot. We then enjoyed the last of the sunset before heading off. A joint {FTF}. Thank you for the placement and a FB from me.
