Suction held the lid together but the original logbook is saturated, so we signed a fresh piece of paper and placed into the already wet ziplock bag
Found it but it has a soaked logbook. Added a dry piece, but it won't stay that way for long. OCW Brewmaker, Its_Dozzie and Martin Cousins. TFTC TeamSKJM
#13710 9:45OCW Brewmaker, Martin Cousins and EverestHigh. A very wet logbook that is in need of some maintenance.TFTC
GPS direction was difficult due to nearby rock faces, etc. Another geocaching gut feeling located the cute cache. Photos sent to CO as 3 of 4 clips are missing, hence both logbooks rather wet. Hope that this cache can continue for many more little geokids to delight themselves
With a wounded leg that limits walking I'm looking for park and grab caches today.
That meant I explored many of those smaller side roads off the Highway.
I really liked the old house on the corner of this street.
The GPS suggested where to look but I couldn't find anything around there so began to walk back to the geomobile I noticed somewhere worth inspecting.
Bingo!
I guess the rock structure here interferes with satellite reception.

While enjoying a Blue Mountains drive and some great scenery with ilook4geo we visited this cache. It was not difficult to find and both names were soon added to the LOG. Thanks for this cache placement go to TeamSKJM.
There are plenty of caches to be found in the mountains but we just selected a few to find with goingplaces2. This one was a quick find but needs some love from the CO. TFTC.
Finding a few caches while travelling back to Sydney after a Christmas break.
A lot easier than I expected.
Thank you TeamSKJM for placing the cache.

Found it with swamp_skink. Cache and logbook is water logged. There is a great mini-rainforest next to the cache. Have a look.
I'd wanted to find this one for ages as I was driven past the turnoff. We did the loop before coming back to find it and yes opposite is very steep The cache was waterlogged and while we drained the water out it was impossible to dry everything. Needs maintenance. TNLN
Quick fun find with goaliegloves. We emptied out the water-filled container! Thanks!
OCW SueDan83. We'd just hiked out to find the Lady Martin Bath and Heart caches and had made it back to the road when Dan mentioned this was only 130m away. Naturally, I was keen to grab this whilst in the area. Once at GZ I made my way across the 'carpet of green' and began to investigate some of the nooks and crannies around the rock wall. But upon reviewing the hint I realised I needed to be looking elsewhere. It was just a matter of spotting it from the right angle. TFTC!
We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Planning to collect some of the solved GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and Wallacia, then visiting the Blue Mountains from Springwood to Wentworth Falls (over two days) for numerous Adventure Labs and other targeted caches.
Today (day 2) we collected caches and Adventure Lab stages from Linden to Wentworth Falls, then completed an Adventure Lab around various parts of Wentworth Falls, before ending the day with a walk around Wentworth Falls Lake to complete an Adventure Lab and collect some more caches that we passed along the way. This was our 2nd find of the day (day 2), and 18th find of the holiday.
After collecting the nearby Adventure Lab stage we next came to this Traditional cache, which was a reasonably quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC TeamSKJM.

#8834 (1 of 6 today - including 2 Adventure Labs)
I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to five months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES! Well, at least I'm currently only 3 months behind.
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Headed up the mountains for more calendar finds. Still on target to meet my goal of 16 finds per calendar day - excluding Lab caches!
As always a beautiful area to cache in.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I'll add any comments specific to the find if I have any. Don't hold your breath, though...

A beautiful morning and a day off work, so I decided to find a few caches to start me day.
My heart fell when I saw all the growth here, thinking I’d get soaked from all the wet plants. But I didn’t need to fear, the cache wasn’t behind any of that wall of plants, it was much more accessible. What a convenient little spot for a cache, all tucked in there!

Good hiding spot, needs maintenance due to one of the clips broken, had water in it.
Second go at this one…. Feel a tad silly . Easy find today! Tftc. One log is totally wet. Other is damp.
Here I made a short detour and found the cache. Unfortunately water had got into the box.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found on a wet morning. Great spot to stretch the legs on the way out west.
Bit of liquid in the container which I tipped out, log itself is surprisingly dry
All in order here thanks!

I was so ready to give up until something caught my eye… great spot! Cache had a fair bit of water in it, log in the zip lock bag was fine. TFTC!
Found quick and easy. GPS playing up tho. Cache is broken and needs fixing. Tftc tho
Took me a little while to spot. A very nice area and good first hide. Emptied some water from the container then rehid. TFTC

Quick find, log is dry thanks to the efforts of other cachers but everything else is wet. TNLN.
First find on our way to Dubbo for a few days, caching along the way. Emptied water out of the container & signed logbook replaced by previous finder. No muggly eyes here, good stretch of road to hide a cache. Tnsl Tftc M&J
Day 1. No.13 for the day. Original log book very wet and unsignable. Replaced log book and ziploc bags leaving the original log book in cache. The cache container was wet. Dried it out as best as I could. TFTH TFTC Signed new log book. Found alongside Geo Buddy Mystic Seer.
Found with geobuddy Chippyddd. Room for SWAG but cache is wet and logbook soaked. Placed NEW logbook in cache. SL TFTC TFTH Replaced cache as found ready for the next adventurer. NO TBs in cache

Finally we can get walking..... We're off for #4000 today and got our numbers wrong yesterday, this one threw us for a few minutes too before the hint was checked. The log was a touch damp, but otherwise not too bad..... TFTC!

Was not too hard to find in the end, weirdly, the ziplock was outside the cache making for an easy find from the right angle. Logbook is damp. Container is missing a clip, so no longer waterproof.
This cache needs a bit if drying out, unfortunately the baggie hasn't been revealed properly for a while and log is damp. TFTC. I love these little side roads that are little ventured.
Still a bit damp, found after a little poke around. Obvious when you approach from the right direction.
I spotted the cache as I approached. I tipped water from the cache. A clip is missing, which might be why water is getting in. Needs a CO visit. TFTC TeamSKJM.
I have looked unsuccessfully for this cache on three previous occasions. I planned to try again after I saw the most recent "find" but when I looked at the cache page today I saw the DNF. So didn't hold high hopes for success today. When I arrived at GZ there was a lot of water lying around after the recent heavy rain and I almost decide not to bother looking when amazingly I saw something interesting out of the corner of my eye. Success. Signed as best I could as the log was wet and replaced the cache where I found it. TFTC TeamSKJM.
Found with WaywardWoman. Picked her up on my way to GZ for an extra set of eyes as the past finders have said there is a lot of rubbish there. As we got out of the car we could here a rustling in the leaves then a beautiful male Lyrebird wandered out and walked across the road. Amazing! Searched and searched some more and finally located it under a build up of mulch. Container had water in it but logbook was pretty dry. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Didn’t think I’d find this looks like they dumped right on top of the cache but all good TFTC
I had my doubts I would find this as well. I persisted at GZ and was rewarded. Cache is wet inside and needs a little TLC. I drained the water out of it buts needs a few hours of sunshine.TFTC.
Had a good idea where i thought it might be, but there is a lot of debris and vegetation around GZ that seems to have been cleared to there.
Wasn't sure that I was going to find this one with all the vegetation that appears to have been cleared near gz. Accurate coords and hint got me there in the end. TFTC
A cleanup has been undertaken and there is quite a deal of vegetation pushed to the side of the road. Despite this, accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. There was water in the container but, thankfully, the log was only slightly damp and still useable. Thanks for th e cache.
On my way to the Blue mountains today for an event and a walk. Left home early to pick up a few caches on the way, but quickly got sucked in and almost run late for the event! All caches were found easily and in good condition.

Up in the mountains today with Calypso62 to attend the Christmas in the Bluies event at Wentworth Falls.
We stopped and found this one very quickly.
The container had water in it, not sure how. The log was dry thanks bag it was in.
We dried the container, completed the log and placed it all back.

A quick find on the way up the mountains for a long bike ride.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
On a very wet afternoon (a blessing for those suffering due to the drought this year) we needed something quick and easy which didn't require too much 'off the beaten track' work. This cache appeared to fit the bill so we jumped in the car and made the short trek up to Linden and geoJavi soon had CIH. SL and replaced, grabbing the tb to move on. TFTC M and J
#4703- First cache for the intrepid September souvenir!
I have been past this place a few times since this was published but never had time to stop. Today I needed to fill the car with petrol at Faulco so decided to head here, pick up my tb in the cache and drop another one off.
A nice easy cache- just what you need in between much needed bouts of rain. \Congrats to the kids on the placement of their first cache. Happy caching.

A quick find on a rainy 'spring' day ... fairly cold and miserable, actually!
The cache and its contents were in good order. And this kind of container should keep everything dry, even if it keeps raining.
Lots of swaps left. Great cache for the geo-kids.

Many thanks to Team SKJM and congrats on the first cache!
