Found It on a nice afternoon bike ride. Unable to mark it as no writing tool. Did notice the lid of the capsule has been broken off. Looked at the paper and looked fine in it's waterproof bag. Although there is some holes in the bag that mat cause some issues in the not too distant future.
Some horse owners were out and about in their fields today while I grabbed this one, though I don't think they noticed,or minded. Nice easy find and tftc
It's been a great walk, catching up with rosiepo11 and sarahjane20 and only 1 more to go.
Thanks for the find! Didn't have a pen on us so have taken a pic for proof of find.
Found while walking Totara Park - Silverstream. Cache decently simple to find but had to dodge horse riders and fellow hikers the entire way. Cache also quite damp. Tftc!
Plenty of horsey people around and I needed to wait for some to move on before swooping in for the find. TFTC
Bit rusty on the outside but keeping good company with a family if slaters - who didn’t seem to mind the visit at all!
Taking advantage of spending another evening in Upper Hutt, I decided to get a bit of fresh air after work by taking a stroll along the Hutt River Trail from Totara Park towards Riverstone Terraces. The weather was actually a lot calmer than I was anticipating after some of the gusty weather we'd had earlier in the day, and I ended up walking about 6km all up.
There was no-one else around whilst at GZ so was able to make a quick search here. It was actually an easy find, but not in line with the Hint, which I suspect might need updating.
I've often wondered if the CO means to get rid of these simply by putting them out as caches and letting oxidisation do the rest, but in this case the container was actually in reasonable nick. Once the log was signed and the whole lot replaced as found, I was soon back on my way.
Thanks for placing this cache.

A nice quick find thanks. I got on my bike and did some caching whilst waiting for the Remutaka road to reopen.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. It was a great weather day and we cruised to Porirua and over the Masterton. The Remutaka hill was closed for over 4 hours as a truck "Fell off" part way up. The truck was a long way down when we passed, and the driver was in a serious condition. Hopefully they will be OK.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Was a beautiful hot day today, so decided to go for a ride / walk along this pathway. Ezratar managed to slide on the sand and came off his bike so we dumped it back in the car and walked the rest of the way. Both Mycro Man and Ezratar stopped every few metres to pick black berries and then move on, so the walk out took a lot longer than the walk back. Thanks for the cache. Hint is wrong.. Should be "Base of pole under some rocks"..
Easy find with @peadub while out walking the Hutt River Trail. We didn't know until later that our friends @gizbinrose and @migsnz were tending their horses behind us! Nice little horse figurine inside cache. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
Had a very peaceful walk along the river trail. On my outward journey I didn't stop to search for this one as a car pulled up nearby (to tend to the horses I think) and I didn't want to look suspicious. On the way back I could still see the car but its position had changed and I thought it would be safe to search. Looked in a couple of wrong places before I found it. TFTC
A reasonably quick find thanks to the coords but it didn't really match the hint, however not hard to spot.
Another dot day to fill and another convenient GROET cache to find in order to fill it. We'd dropped a car for attention in Upper Hutt and parked up the top end of the track afterwards. A lovely sunny early morning, though still rather cold. The mist that had risen off the Hutt River leant an added charm to the view looking back towards Totara Park when we turned back after I'd found the cache and signed the log. There seemed to be more traffic than ever on the River Road, perhaps because today was the first day in Alert Level 1 after almost 3 months in varying degrees of lockdown thanks to COVID-19.
Thanks GLAD-NZ for another cache in this series, which I have been finding so useful on numerous occasions.

Another nice quick find before heading up Valley View Road. Not sure how many of the series I've done now - must be about half way. TFTC.
Found on a cycle trip up from Melling on a lovely fine day along the magic Hutt River Trail. TFTC
#7367. I was working at home today and it was a glorious sunny day outside. By mid-afternoon I decided it was time to nip up to the Hutt valley for a short walk to pick up a few more caches and complete my work tasks when I got home. Really enjoyed the walk along this track in spring like conditions. Lots of birdlife with the skylarks soaring and singing overhead and rock pigeons and sparrows enjoying all the seed and chaff being fed out to the horses. Another nice easy find by the track. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks GLAD-NZ for another in the GROET series. Cheers GSEL
Only one possibility to match the hint which was just as well as horses were being tended to nearby and I did not want to appear too suspicious.
One of 18 caches located today on an enjoyable bike ride along the Hutt River trail (mostly) from Upper Hutt to Pomare Station. Quick find. #2488. TFTC.
# 1483 Back again in the area, this time to pick up the repaired flat tyre. Managed to cajole the DangerBOY just a few hundred metres more than yesterday, to pick up this one. No toys in this one so he was slightly less impressed that with yesterdays reindeer. But otherwise the cache was all good inside. Only the occasional dog walker here today. Cheers Glad NZ for this one today.
#10,671. Returned to Craigs Flat, Upper Hutt for a contemplative walk. GZ was all quiet when we visited. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Thought I would do a few caches today and saw this trail. Nice Easy finds TFTCS (Thank You For The Caches)
Found on this hot clear day, a cooker on the track. Horses are quiet, swishing tails and heads down in the dry.
TFTC, loved the walk, cheers
