Logs
No luck here todayhad a fairly decent poke around at ground zero but came up short.
Another day spent Pre-Mega geocaching. We spent the morning planning a Suburb Attack, some of which we completed today. We also started one of those horrible Sequential Adventure Labs that are sp prevalent down here. There were muggles practising their Rugby, but I don't think they were too interested in three old pensioners dressed in QLD Maroon shirts. Log signed and cache replaced as found on March 20, 2024. TFTC, Groot_1983
In Canberra now and today concentrating on the suburbs challenge.Took longer than it should have taken.Caching with and signing with RoddyC hatzofff Imbunda.TFTCache Groot_1983
F(H)ound It! #3854 @ 10:05 AMHere to rectify a previous DNF. Luckily it was much quieter here today than the last time I visited. There were a few possible hiding places at GZ but I stuck to my first guess and it was quickly found, thanks to accurate coordinates thanks for the cache Groot_1983
Lots of potential hides in this area. Lucky it wasn't too long before it was found. Found with Just_Jess! TFTC
Once I looked in the right spot soon found. All good with cache.
Thanks for getting me out and about Dragon 1982

Found while out walking geo-pup but didn't have a pen to sign

Coordinates were a tad off for me on this one, might just be my phone, though I had an idea of where it was. Cool little spot, TFTC
I was in the area and stopped in for this fairly fast find. No sport to watch today. TFTH
Out on a run with LuckyL10n and this was our next stop. No issues here and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks for another one in the series Dragon 1982....

#1033 After making contact with Turtle284 to catch up nearby, I realised I had a little time up my sleeve to grab a quick find on the way to meet him. Parked almost right next to the cache and then wandered over to GZ. The spot I thought it’d end up being hidden at was not to be and I rerouted myself to the coordinates. The cache was soon found and signed. Thanks Dragon 1982 for the hide
This one was on our list today but we had to abandon as there were a lot of teenage muggles gathered at GZ and more were coming. I guess for a sport event . Will try again another day.
avenging a DNF.
Took a while to find but I did spend a long time in the wrong spot.
thanks for the cache

Had to come by to check what wrong with this cache, oh sweet it missing so i just have put new log paper and new tube.. Happy Hunting
My 2nd attempt at this one. Another DNF after a decent search. It's either dastardly clever or missing.
Needs checking, especially since a 35mm lid was found, but no attached base. Last log was 10/Oct/2021.
I had a good look for this one as well.
Looking at previous logs it sounds like it is missing.

I searched the power box, the closed thing to GZ that my GPS was indicating, then the trees. Following I shifted attention to the container, looking in holes, under ledges, etc. I couldn't find a cache, made tricky by many potential hiding spots and not knowing if I were searching for a nano or micro. I read previous logs and looked at photographs. Oh, a micro, a film cannister. So back to the container I went with torch and mirror and looked a second time in all the holes. Then I found about 11 metres off GZ - near the container doors - a grey 35mm film canister lid out on the grass. I didn't find the base or log.
Maybe this doesn't belong to the cache and is a coincidence (and I just failed to find it), but this cache hasn't been logged since October last year, a long time, and it's known that some people are too worried what others might think of them to log a helpful DNF for the CO to know the cache is potentially missing. Me, I log DNFs and if it's still there , well so be it [:o)].

Found just sitting in the ground, wonder if someone or something had removed it from its hiding place. Popped it back to where I think it might have been….
Coords about 5m off for me but found it thanks to other clues in the activity log. Tftc.
Coordinates were off but having found other caches in this series, i had a good idea as to where it would be located. Tftc!
TFTC Quick easy find today, thanks
Grateful thanks to CO for placing and maintaining the caches to entertain me on my journey.

Today was a trip down south to get a few caches for my day count a bit further away from home. Great to get another cache all the way down here in light rain.
Thanks for the cache Dragon 1982

After a DNF on a nearby cache, looked up this one in the hope of fulfilling my daily find.
Located the cache shortly after arriving at the GZ. Nice little spot for a hide.
Thanks Dragon 1982 for placing and maintaining this cache.

Just checking by here replaced new small container and log paper... Happy hunting
Found with Jemalong&family and family however the log was missing and cache misplaced, have put back at the presumed original location. TFTC
Found a film cannister on the ground with nothing in it, but what I can only imagine as the cache as you don't see these lying about anywhere. No log but hidden at presumed location. TFTC
Found with AngelG27 on a Friday morning mission. Angel did the expert finding while I did the expert driving. Sorry for the late log, TFTC
Cache 6641 on 23 Oct 2020.
A quick mission south with Bobl27 to get a few caches before work. A bit later than we should have, as it meant that a couple of options were a bit sketchy due to school drop offs.
Second one for the morning. Had tired to get this one before but a nearby muggle made it dicey to make the grab. Today it was a quick find, after I ignored the coords and spotted it close by.
Thanks Dragon 1982 for the cache and the fun!

Found this while at work, and work today is in Pearce so I didn’t have to travel far. The ants found it as well, so by the time I had cache in hand I was covered in ants, so the challenge was signing and getting rid of my unwanted guests. Tftc
2nd watch sport cache today
2nd of these types of containers this weekend
2nd last suburb in Woden to tick off
X times I have been to Mt Taylor Scout Hall and never before bothered to look for a cache here.
No sporting muggles due to rain.

A couple meters off the GPS coordinates but a quick find thanks to the activity log
Found after a few minutes of searching a few metres away from GZ. Nice little hidey-hole. Thank you!
I unexpectedly found myself in the area today, so stopped for a quick cache find. Ignored the gps and had the cache in hand within moments.

I found the sneaky hidey hole!!! A little way away from the coords, and almost too tiny a hole for my fat fingers, but a find nonetheless! Stuffed it back it the hole just before several kids showed up for footy training TFTC!
Pretty sure I found Charlotte's hidey hole, seemed a good spot, but: no, had a look around, no joy
Such a gorgeous day for a bike ride, out and about. This cache was found lying out in the open on the ground. Wasn't exactly sure where it was meant to be, but found a suitable hidey hole, very close by, and tucked it away snugly, after signing the log. TFTC Dragon 1982
Took a long wander with the youngest boy on ANZAC afternoon to enjoy the weather whilst it was still nice. Wandered past this expecting a quick find but no luck for us. Inspected all the likely spots for a D1.5 (and several that weren't) without success. With the afternoon waning we decided to call it and keep moving.
Hooray, can change a sad face to a smiley. Put sad face on in August. Finally came back on a beautiful Autumn day. On reading the logs have learned cache was not there when I was searching before. So don’t feel so bad. Today found the cache at Hughes oval so knew where to look to find this one. TFTC
Found it. There are few structures around but this was a more classic conceal. Thanks for the cache.
With yesterdays Horror weather and bushfires, I thought we wouldn't get out at all this weekend - but, it was a mild 32 degrees at 5pm this evening, and we were kinda going stir crazy, so we grabbed the geoPoodle and headed out to grab another suburb for the Canberra Mapping Challenge - this time it was Pearce.
This was the first one, and one of Many Watch Sports we have found - they seem to be in every suburb! -We drove right up, parked the car and left it here while we walked the suburb. This one was the same hide as the one in Hughes, and was quickly located and signed - also gaining us the 02022020 souvenir
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Dragon 1982.

Having dinner close by with friends, I nipped over here for a quick grab befine we ate. Nice and quiet in the area so free to hunt and the cache was soon in hand. [^]
I tucked myself alongside the obvious shelter for business, tucked everything back in place then sauntered up the road for dinner.
Cheers Dragon 1982.

In the area and had missed finding this one in the past - went straight to it today. Tftc
I like when my wife has an appointment in the south side. It gives me an opportunity to find some caches. Tftc
After my 12 week appointment I took the opportunity to be south side to do some more of the plenty caches down here.
Quick find, all in good order.
Thank you Dragon 1982 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Found it today with JackPacker and MegHugh - her first geocache! Thanks for the fun!
Like the last two visitors I was unsuccessful here. There was one very obvious hiding spot that fitted the clue, but no cache. I think this one needs checking.
