We are just taking our time traveling the road less traveled. We were using adventure Labs as a guide but they seem to have run out so now we're just using anything that comes up on the radar to stop and put another dot on the map. We really enjoyed the drive through this this way we haven't been here before and some really nice little towns along the way.We enjoyed to stop at each one and happily and name has been added to each logbook that we found and everything returned as it was. Many thanks for setting up this cache and for giving us a nice break in our drive.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 75 - Moora to Carnamah via Coorow. For once it was a dry day. Today was a slow start as I had to unhook last night. The journey was to the north and there was only one town to explore. There were a few side trips to places that do not seem to be any more than railway sidings. The number of caches has dropped off, nor surprising really so I was at my destination in Carnamah for a late lunch. This at least gave me time to catch up on logs and other online duties. Into ton for an afternoon explore and home to cook dinner in the van. This side of the detour was two stops. This old school site was a quick stop on the way to the cemetery. It seems along way from anywhere here. Thanks for the cache CoorowPrimarySchool48422.12 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2007 Australia Black A#82**Albida**

Today we went from Geraldton via Three Springs to Coorow. On the way we stopped at some geocaches and could find all of them well. Despite the heat of 40 degrees, it was a pleasure to look for the caches. Thanks for laying and maintaining.
Heading back home after Xmas on the farm. Planning to stop and hunt my way back. Hoping the 41 degrees wont come to fruition. Taking the inland road this trip. Thanks to the CO’s for placing caches in remote areas for us wonderlusters to enjoy.
Interesting spot - thanks for bringing me here Coorow Primary - greetings from Northam!

Caravanning, caching and hunting wildflowers on this trip from S.A. Decided to stay in Coorow for a week to avoid the school holiday crowds. Went for a drive to get the caches we missed on the way here. T.F.T.C.
I've often wondered at the fact that there are so many old school sites and they are all marked, even if there's nothing left.
Found on a trip to the west from South Australia.
After camping north of Moora last night, this was a quick park and grab as I continued to head north.
This was another quick park and grab.
Thanks CoorowPrimarySchool for the cache.

Found this cache while travelling with ilook4geo. The ants are nesting under the container but have not moved inside it. Cache and log both in good order and log was signed with both names. Thanks go to CoorowPrimarySchool for placing this cache.
Came along here with goingplaces2 to make a joint find. There are so may plaques to be found around about former school sites. Found the container OK. Signed and replaced where found. TFTC.
Found while driving through the area. Another little school lost to history. TFTC
On a road trip up to the Mid West. Today, we drove up to Coorow, Carnamah, Three Springs and on to Mingenew where we stopped for the night. We enjoyed the variety of hides, particularly those that were placed on or near signs that depicted the history of the area. Thank you to all the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.
Find #3994 for us today.

There must have been a lot of old school sites here in the area as we have come accross quite a few in the last couple of days. Another interesting story here. TFTC CoorowPrimarySchool .
Found on this wintery day. Placed a waterproof container with paper in original tin. Thanks for the hide.
Crops loving the rain.

A quick park and grab here. Unfortunately I can’t convince the GeoKids to go any further. Time to head to Carnamah for an ice cream and back to our base in Perenjori. TFTH!
Continuing on our trip in the west. Lunch in Coorow today.
Great to see the children from Coorow Primary School learning about Geocaching.
Thank you.

We headed up north to see some of the wonderful sights our great State has, the amazing scenery, the interesting history, the local characters, it's wonderful to see this part of Australia through the eyes of the local Geocachers.
Mt Augustus has been on our bucket list for a few years and now it has been ticked with a smile.
Up and out early in the morning before the heat set in, watching the colours come to life, watching the pre-dawn colours saturate the skies.
Driving out and about on these back roads made for a welcome stop here to enjoy the views of the wonderful Wildflowers.
The historical stories told here are an interesting reminder of the pioneering days gone by and their families.
We found your cache tucked away neatly, and with signing duties done and dusted, we replaced the cache as found.
Thanks for sharing this interesting spot.

An early morning start on our route up toward IGD19 with PP2, a plan was made to venture out of our way to fill up the area with smilies. A successful fun filled day and we are happy to say we came up trumps here and drove away with a smilie TFTC

It was Mr dimor's weekend off so yesterday we headed off from Bunbury around noon taking Bruce for a drive to the Midlands area. Stopped last night in Three Springs, today we make a short journey to Coorow grabbing a few caches as we go.
We had a good laugh at this one as I had kept telling Mr dimor that it was the Old Winchester Cemetery so when we pulled up he looked at me strangely. Reread my notes and then we saw what possibly was some old parts of the school in the paddock
Thanks for the cache

Hi there CoorowPrimarySchool - today was mainly planned to be a driving day returning home to Perth, but I couldn't resist hunting a few caches on the way down. This cache was a quick find and the container and log are in good condition - SL. Thanks to CoorowPrimarySchool for this cache - our find #5910.

I saw these published and I had to go to cue to visit a station so I made a plan to grab the new caches placed around Coorow . I left Miss Jackyleggs at the last cache as she had to head back to Moora ...
I have visited many old school sites around Western Australia and think it’s great to mark them with a plaque and to think how tough it was back in those days .
Thanks CoorowPrimary School for bringing me into your country town
