Logs
Sorry for the delay. Had surgery in August and just getting back to things now. Will attend to this soon. Disabling in the meantime.
DNF - have requested owners attention. Checked all around the site, and hints, but no luck.
still new to geocaching. sadlh this is the first one i havent found yet. judging from other logs it sounds like if should be easy to find but i couldnt see it
Found it it was hard to open at first but when I got it i js signed the loved and put it bck where it was
Yesss this is my 1000th cache!! Took me an embarassingly long time to find this but got there in the end. Tftc!
**19,898**And another of the TOP series caches signed off, glad to have managed a nice quick find here. TFTC
Came out with my son (13213). Didn't have long, so saw this as a good park and find! Didn't have a pen, so will come back to log it another time. TFTF
As expected, the cache was gone. Have replaced in a slightly more strategic spot, but coordinates and hint remain the same.
Thought I had finished for the day and had to go to Tony's tire service for a repair and noticed this update in my inbox.
Having to wait an hour and a half and being the impatient person I can be sometimes, I decided to walk it in the steady shower.
Noticed the SPOR immediately and logged the cache and code.
I have a theory that this cache is being muggled by the school kids passing by every morning and afternoon as they walk in droves pass GZ but have no proof of this. But just putting it out there.
Cheers.
Sleepy was here!

This one defintely needs checking again, and plan to do a run in the next week.
Had a little bit of spare time while in Porirua so thought we would grab a couple more of The Wandering Dragons Tour of Porirua series.
After our DNF here last year (sounds sooo long ago) It was great to hear that we werent loosing our minds and the cache was infact missing. Big thanks to the CO for the prompt replacement.
No problems here today and another blue face turns yellow.

After a couple of DNFs (which really shouldn't happen on this cache), decided to stop by and check it out. Sure enough, the cache was gone. Have replaced it and its log, and all is good now.
Parked up on Tangare Drive and strolled across the park to GZ. Quite a few trees, plenty of rocks just no caches for us here today. Must have checked every rock in the rough area at least thirty five times (well all except one rock obviously) Will add to my watchlist and see how others get on.
Wellington really turned on the sunshine today, which was a very welcome break from the weather of the last few days. A bit of a shame that I had a quiet morning indoors doing domestic stuff then. But late lunchtime I received a callout from a friend who wanted some help with a cache. Not this one, but long story short, I decided to go out caching for a few hours this afternoon to blow a few cobwebs away.
By this time there were 3 of us, Itchyfeet202, JustlookingOO and myself. We decided to have a bit of a genteel walk around Porirua as there were caches for all of us there including this one.
Justlooking made the find here, at the correct location which I had initially dismissed as the one a couple of metres away had initially looked a more likely prospect. The logsheet was full, so Itchyfeet provided a new strip of paper, which we soon added our names to.
Thanks for setting this cache up.

I was on a mission today - to complete the Kiwi. Following my very targeted caches in the morning TwigNZ and Justlooking00 decided they needed to get out and enjoy the sun to. We met up in Porirua and then decided to walk along the waters edge as far as this one. Justlooking00 made the find here and time to turn around and start wandering back. TFTC.
Found while in this area doing the adventure lab. Thanks The Wandering Dragons for the cache
Great end of day find for us. Nō writing utensil with us but will be sure to come back and jot our names down
On a day caching around Porirua. We had a great race across the field to find this one. Junior took the honours.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Enjoying randomly finding this series as we’re out and about. I noticed today that we’ve actually found quite a few of them, so we might have to start hunting out the remainder soon . The fantastic and I were amused by whoever seems to have placed versions of the hint object at the base of all of surrounding trees - nicely played. KTG
My ADHD brain can only take such sitting down and painting at home. So KTG made a deal with me. We get 1 coat done... then go for a bit of Kai and find some caches. Then we do coat #2... collected a few park and grabs around Titahi Bay. Nice day for it. This log has about ⅓ of the back of the page left to sign. May need replacing soon. The ziplock bag was also torn. But the actual log was perfectly dry.
I think I need to work out how many TOP caches we have collected and how many are left to collect. We must be getting close to the end now. TFTC

First cache of the day. Hopped off the train, stopped here on the way to Titahi Bay. Nice easy find and a nice bit of grass to sit on while I complete the necessaries. Had a look for the pa - well, the wharenui, but I could not see it from GZ.
I have been getting a bit of cabin fever from too much working from home, so I decided to take the bike for a bit of geocaching. But where? And separately, I have been living in Lower Hutt for a while now, so I moved my home coordinates and discovered I only have 30 missing degrees to complete my diamond 360 degrees from home badge. Well, that makes this weekend's decision easy! Porirua! I have 4 missing degrees there. So I downloaded a query with all the caches in my missing degrees into my phone and took my bike on the train to Porirua. There are four degrees to get there, and 10 caches within them - way more than needed. Oh - and today is a multi dot day, and one of those caches is a multi! I love it when a plan comes together!
So that was all I found. A few caches in Titahi Bay, and a few in Cannon's Creek. I wonder how many caches I simply cycled/walked past? No idea.

Found, lovely day to be out for a walk. Just as I stood up after replacing the cache a lawn mower turned up out of nowhere . Not sure if he saw what I was doing. This type of thing seems to happen to me a lot
Grabbing another in the series while passing by. Quick find, interesting read, thanks TWD!
I got to 998 caches earlier today, and stopped to think about a cool cache to do for #1000. Figured it out while I was at my folks for tea, and stopped by here to knock the last two off. This one... was 999.
Surprising hide, seemed quite exposed even with the hint object. Had to get the cache out again on the way back since I forgot the number haha. Tftc!

Spending the afternoon around Titahi Bay and Onepoto doing some caching. Never been here before and enjoying the coast line and walks. Cache all fine here. My first ToP Thanks for the smiley.
Found after a walk up Colonial Knob on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. All good. Tftc!
Slowly chipping away at this series with the find here today. I found the information about the area on the cache page interesting. TFTC
Been out on a solo coaching adventure today. Toddler is with his grandparents, husband is bedbound with man flu but the sun is out so I'm out last find before heading home. Thanks
Returning from the Bay thought I'd find a cache to fill in another square in the Wonders of the World passport. Nice and easy to find. Log filled in and cache returned as found (its in good condition by the way). Thank you for the cache.
