Nice easy find with coconuts3 on our last full day in this area. Will apologise for the cut and paste on these logs, but we thank you for the caches and placing them for our enjoyment.
It is a lovely drive to get this river series of caches. Out with busy paws on our last day of adventures. Thanks for the cache erninz.
Today was my second day of cyclocaching out from Weston, this time to visit all the caches on the way to the Kakanui River. I must be getting close to the river but I haven't seen it yet. TFTC
Easter break and it’s time to catch up on the year to date coins. Spotted the”Take Me to the River” series and being a Talking Heads fan I decided this was the series for us today. Drove from Mosgiel, stopping in at Palmerston for a McGregor’s mutton pie we parked at the Round Hill road intersection and set off down Robb’s Crossing Road on foot. Returned to the car and did the rest by park and grab.

A quick little power trail heading north! Very little space to pull of in most places, just as well the roads were quiet! TFTC!!
On a 7 day caching trip with Nosynel. Second day on the road focusing on caches in North Otago. Another quick grab. Tftc.

And easy find. Much trickier to park than find. Jude_E and I stayed in Waimate tonight. The plan is to explore the Oamaru area today. I haven't done this since the Geofest in 2017. Thanks erninz for creating this hide. It was find 8622 for me.

A bitftct of traffic here and feeling quite exposed. Waiting for someone to ask me what i'm doing.
#18031. It was still before 9 on a Sunday morning, and the road was quiet (just as well as parking wasn't great). Quick find. TFTC.
Day 3 and the last day of StreetWalkerNZ and my 3 day weekend in and around Oamaru. The plan is to head out early to find a few caches on the Cormacks Kia Ora Rd then return to base for a coffee then pack up the car.
We had left this cache for the drive back as the parking wasn't great, but it turned out to be no better on this side. Luckily a quick find. TFTC.

Out with Waitaki Girls High school geocaching group "Cookies" and Taldarth and managed to find a few we didn't already have! TFTC
TFTC Found while taking a group girls from Waitaki Girls High School geocaching as part of their activities week.
Although the hiding place was most likely one of two, it took a wee while to unearth this cache. TFTC
A nice quick find today. Cheers.
Seems like forever since we have been to Oamaru, This weekend fixed that!
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Heading away for the weekend on a Geo Murder Mystery adventure. This cache contained one of the clues needed and after a bit of a detour off the main highway I soon arrived at GZ. Nice quick find here TFTC
A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 14 Herbert Forrest to Waitaki 51 caches found today. Missions completed by now so caching my way back up the island. Thank you for the placement. Finally found it. Thank you for the placement

A "mini Power Trail". Hobbled in and out of the car for each of these after falling down a bank at an earlier cache. Had a strict time limit for each cache on my race around the area today and when this hadn't turned up by the deadline I had to move on. I see others have DNFed so it's obviously a tough hide. Overshot this on the way in and ended up attempting it out of sequence on the way back out.
I had parked my snail shell up iin Oamaru at the A&P Showgrounds so that I can find a few caches to fulfil my personal challenge of having my GC.COM calender a set shade of green. I need to sign off 6 caches today.
This power trail will do very nicely.
Cheers for the cache.

Scrolling thru last night, I stumbled on a new trail a couple of k's away from where we are staying for the weekend, got up early this morning and away we went. Took some perseverance but got the little sucker! Found with Tuitigger. TFTC
Approached GZ and saw cabbage trees, and thought we should skip this one, but was an easy find after a few minutes.
Sitting at home logging the days, caches then the email started going nuts, new caches close by, well have to go for a look, took a few minutes to hunt down -Thanks Bitsprayer
