A long solve and a long search for a wet and mouldy logbook. I was distracted by the debris nearby. TFTC.

We're not very clever when it comes to mystery cache and found this one a bit of a struggle but got there in the end.Found the cache container at GZ very well hidden and took longer to find than expected but really enjoyed the challenge. Many thanks for the puzzle and the cache Kagers17

Log quite moist i tried to dry bag as m7ch as possible ...I'm not sure if container is sealing correctly ...Tftc

The puzzle took quite a while converting the graphic to text then a quick solve. Today, we were in the area and I drove to the cache after a short storm to find a very wet GZ. I negotiated the creek while MrsFish recorded frogs calling. The container was at last found under a lot of natural, soaked camouflage and I signed in the middle of the wet log where it was a little drier. Thanks for an excellent puzzle and a hide that will be a lot better when it dries out.

Very tedious decoding. But once I had the coordinates it was a very quick find. TFTC

Solved this one on a rainy day, and shelved for quite a while, but passing by today with some time up my sleeve meant stopping for the search. Found quickly, signed the somewhat damp log, then it was back on track. Thanks for the cache Kagers17

Solved the puzzle on "a rainy day" while camping up in Kangaroo Valley. Made the trip over Cambewarra today and headed to GZ. Got myself in the spot but couldn't see anything to start with. Probably a bit late but chose this moment to run my coordinates through the checker which came up Correct. So I intensified my search slightly and came up with the find. Thanks Kagers17 for the cache and the fun puzzle.

Found with 3 kings on first of the new year. Tftc. Great puzzle had lots of fun finding co rods late at night.

Well that was interesting! We don’t usually do puzzles and this is why…. Not too hard but a long time for the first part and then some magic interpretation for the second.

Some dodgy comments from my fellow Canberra cachers that at the end we had to discard to find the GZ. Glad for the coord checker, and thanks for a great cache for the WEEO and myself.

Tried to find this ages ago but had no luck. Came past again today and re-searched all the spots. Luckily came up with the find this time. A very tedious puzzle which kept me busy for a while. Thanks!

Had a thorough search with 4 muggles while nearby for Christmas. But no luck Sad I think it may have been washed away in the recent rain.

I'd been looking at this for a while as it's the closest cache to home, I was getting a bit triggered by it on my map. I recruited the help of skyebomonkeytown, without her help I'm sure it would still be sitting unfound. It took a few sessions to do the decoding while the geo toddler slept but I/we got there in the end. Got the go ahead I had co ords correct last night & off I set this morning after daycare drop off. Had a giggle as we were just here yesterday using the equipment after our walk. TFTC & thank goodness that's done & dusted.

21,199. Found during a run down the coast with Darksidedan and Loci612.

Big Congratulations to Loci612 who achieved his 10,000th find plus completed his 6th D/T Loop on the same cache. It was a pleasure (if not rather terrifying) to be with him on his Milestone cache.

After an early start from Canberra, the guys arrived right on time at 6 to pick me up, then after grabbing a surprise first to find we headed towards Nowra. After a few choice finds there, we headed to this reserve for the main aim of the day. Wow - this was quite a spectacular region to visit for some awesome caches and views. Once we completed the loop we headed (with very sore legs by now) back to the car but still had more caches to grab. We targeted this puzzle as we had solved it and it hadn't been found in a while. Busted a wombat here out in the open. Pretty quick find at GZ.

Thanks Kagers17 !!

Yesterday Loci612 and I (Darksidedan) left Canberra at 5am and headed out to Goulburn to pick up Fitzy_1965. Not long after we were at the first cache of the day. An FTF north of Moss Vale then onto Nowra to find a swag of 40 plus caches for the day. The days highlights included seeing two Sea Eagles, millions of birds, a Wombat and A Dolphin. In Total I drove 660kms and we cached for a total of 16 hours including driving time.

This cache was one of the caches that we found. The cache was signed DSD for Darksidedan. Thanks for the cache and the adventure. We will be back this way to clean up any caches we missed this time.

A Very Big Congrats to Loci612 who got his 10,000th cache find and managed to do his 6th D/T Loop on the same cache. I was glad to be there for such a milestone.

I have used the same code in some of my own puzzles so this was a quick solution for me.

**This Cache:**

Wow, the first finders here this year! Although not overly surprising given the bushfire devastation and now COVID, but was good to give this some love again.

It was dark by the time we arrived at this cache, but only one more on the list to find before heading home, so we were pushing through!

Thanks

**Today:**

Myself, DSD and Fitzy_1965 planned a long day trip down to Nowra, and Currarong to pick up some caches! I was nearing my 10,000th find, and 6th D/T loop so had a cache lined up for the milestone! We left Canberra at 5am, picked up Fitzy from Goulburn, grabbed an unexpected first to find in the Southern Highlands, and then headed down to the coast!

The day lasted 16 hours before we finally returned home after 9pm. A very successful day, I don't believe we had a single DNF! My milestone cache did take 1 hour to find though, phew!

Thanks to all the CO's and DSD + Fizty for the company Smile

A day outdoors was long overdue, so I planned to head down to Nowra for a spot of caching. I teamed up with Bonfire7 for part of the day. Overall, I put a solid dent in my 50km radius with a daily total coming to 45 caches! Thanks To The Cache Owners for their contributions to the game.

Today I swung by to finally convert the solve into a find. Thanks For The Cache Kagers17

Had solved the puzzle a while ago and remembered it was not as easy as it seemed. Today I found myself at GZ a little puzzled and not sure wether my coords were right, but persistence payed of and I found a very well hidden cache.

I waited for a rainy day before I made a start on this one. However, it took several rainy days to work all the way thru though, referring to a puzzle guru along the way to make sure I was on the right track. The story was entertaining at least and the second half flowed quite quickly. Today I finally found the time to make the find in a park I had never visited before. SL TFTC Kagers17

Out of curiosity, been watching this one since Bonfire’s success and a passing comment from him (which version are you using?) got me back on track with my own solve success while, appropriately, stuck at home on a rainy day. Fast forward a few weeks and no new finds registered, I was getting excited I could be the 2TF as I was heading down the coast for a SES exercise where, if I left home early enough, I could have enough time to make a quick detour. A simple find at a supposedly more difficult one nearby had given me more time here but even that wasn’t enough to turn up the cache and I needed to get going, planning to try again on my way home. Had just left Ulladulla when J+J’s found log came through and I had to be content with 3TF just on sunset. I’m sure I had checked that spot thoroughly this morning but must have been a lot more buried than intended in the build-up of fresh debris deposited following a lot of recent rainy days. Returned a little gentler but elevation may help prevent repeat issues in the future. A fun twist on a clever puzzle.

We had this solved some time ago and waited till we were down this way to collect a smiley. We came passed here Friday but muggles we’re occupying the area so on our way back the coast was clear.
Found the cache well under cover and took a bit to locate.
Once signed we put it back as found. TNSL TFTC

Yay [FTF]
I noticed this new puzzle today but any solving needed to wait til home,so once home it was game on.
It sure took some time working through this one but after a few miss hits I was given the greenlight and straight out the door.
At GZ it was now dark and the search by torchlight began,it took me a while to locate the cache eventually finding it back in the first spot I looked.
An enjoyable puzzle and a fun find,a fav!
Thanks Kragers17 for the cache!
