After so many DNF’s I thought this one was gone, but having seen it being found recently I messaged them for a hint!

Came back today & found it within a minute of searching Smile don’t know how I missed it the first time haha! TFTC

Out to collect a stray in this area. The gps send us a little further but after reading the cache description we looked in the right place. Took some work with a tool to get the little bugger out. Mozzies were staving and I think the whole colony had a good feed...

TFTC, stuvic

Out for a couple hours clearing up some strays.

This one gave me some grief! GPS took me to a good spot, even pointing to the exact corner, but my first foray there produced no cache, so I went off looking elsewhere. Eventually I went back to the start and looked harder and got the smiley. TFTC and history lesson, stuvic.

Thanks for the detailed Description above - very interesting read.
Arriving at GZ we decided it had to be here or there... and it was there.
Nice. All is well with this cache.
Thank for the cache and history lesson Stuvic.

Nice hide! Bit of a hunt around, almost gave up then thought - where would I put it? TFTC!

It’s been a very low month for caching for me: not even in double figures!
Today I had a small window to make a few finds and decided to grab these close to home ones if possible.
I had definite déjà vu here, even down to the memorial nearby. I recall running over to join Stairman somewhere around here for a joint FTF, quite a few years now.
After poking around here and there, I decided to ignore my phone’s indecision and just go with my geo-gut. Soon enough, I had the cache in hand! I sympathise with trying to get precise coords right here, because it would be hard. I guess a hint would make it easier, but it looks like most people have found it anyway.
TFTC where all looks fine.

28-Oct-18
Found with stairman1 and geopuppy on our walk around the lake.

Found while taking the dog out for a walk. Such a great place to be on these paths early mornings.

Second attempt at this one. Took a long time to find as the GPS was not happy with the cloud cover. I had to resort to satillite images to find this one and even then it was pure luck I did find it. I had gone both sides, and one end to the other, up and down and along to find it. I very nearly gave up on this one. TFTC

08-Oct-18
Out for a little pre-late lunch stroll with Goldielover and geo-pup, and this one was on our route. It took us a little while to locate it, and it was GL who was finally successful. TFTC

Hey! I've been here before. There was a cache here among these trees a while back which was very tricky. Must have gone to the big GZ in the sky. A quick find more by accident and anything. A great little hide. Thanks stuvic

On a bit of a hunt with the geokids today. Enjoyed the nice walk through the park, which allowed the kids to let off some steam. They also enjoyed the hunt and the eventual find! TFTC!

It's a while since George had a FTF, and also quite a while since I had a 2tf! Quite a time searching for this one. Looked very near the right place, but missed it first time around, then spread the net a bit wider to no avail. Back to the listed cords and further search turned up the find, where I wrote 3/10/18 in the log because I hadn't updated the date on my watch. Sad TFTC, stuvic. Hats off to Thomas McLeod for his pioneering efforts. I guess the tests were made on what was then the Sinnamon farm. Bert Hinkler also experimented with gliders and successfully flew a glider at Mon Repos near Bundaberg, and also went on to make a name in aviation.

We searched for 30 mins. Up down. Crevices. Sticks. Other side. Every tree. And 10m beyond. Sadly no ftf for me. Its rare for me to have a day off when caches are published and I have that chance.

Found! My first ever first-to-find. Searched on one side, climbing over a turkey’s nest. Then crossed over and saw another person walking towards cache area. I thought he was competition for FTF but it turned out to be the cache owner! Stuvic adjusted coordinates and while he was doing that, I easily found the cache. Thanks Stuvic - nice to meet you!
