Thanks to everyone who found this! Unfortunately the building it was on has been demolished. It had a pretty good run and I hope you all had some fun while finding it!

11-Mar-21
Disabling for now, while I check if this cache is still here or not. Not sounding hopeful.

09-Mar-21
The building it was attached to has been demolished Sad

29-Dec-20
I've got no idea where this is

20-Dec-20
I was nearby chasing a whale, and thought I'd make the detour for this cache on the way home. Having not read the description I was pleasantly surprised with how cleverly constructed this hide was. TFTC.

14-Oct-20
Having a similar type of hide myself, I soon worked out what to do, great cache, thanks.

After a walk along Devlin Creek we came back at our starting point. The rain had started and it was all quiet at the parking lot. So we had all the time to find the Con on the Junction.
Soon I discovered the well camouflaged cache. A tool was revealed and the cache opened.

What a clever hide. TFTC

16-Jul-20
Looked everywhere, couldn't believe it was right before our eyes the whole time. I love the cryptic clues, thank you!

16-Jul-20
Found not just one, but two tools...

23-Jun-20
Spotted the cache straight away, however, had more difficulty sorting out the tool. Great hide! TFTC

24-May-20
Tricky, will bring another set of eyes next time

10-May-20
Just checked, cache is still there in working order.
There's been some construction stuff placed around the general area, but it's still easily accessible.

09-May-20
Think we found where it was meant to be, but it’s not there anymore.

09-May-20
Think it has gone missing

07-May-20
Love acknowledging the cache, discrediting that it could be the cache, searching aimlessly and then the "oh" moment when you realise what it was all along. Inspirational, and a favorite from me

07-May-20
Did this little find at night, it was more difficult at night but a very clever hide! The building is pretty old so don't be fooled by all the other things that are loose. The tool was very cool, overall a very nifty cache ️

21-Apr-20
Tricky.
Lucky I had plenty of time for the search, due to late hour and lack of muggles.
Tftc.

17-Apr-20
Quick cache on way home from work. Nice hide. SL and replaced. TFTC.

25-Mar-20
First find. Took a little while to work out what I should be looking for but finally figured it out. Very clever idea.

09-Dec-19
Had us working hard to find. The first with Uncle Mark and now he’s hooked!

06-Dec-19
Came across this gem at my work xmas party! Very clever. TFTC

I like finding Scout Hall caches its good to find out where they are located.
After passing the bowling club which was in full swing this morning i headed around to the hall and began my search.
I had an idea of what to look for and was able to home right in once i spotted it from a distance.
Thanks.

Had a spot of trouble finding the cache, but widened my search and saw something. Note there are wires hanging down from the roof eaves, these have nothing to do with the cache, best to leave them alone. The tool for the cache appears to have gone missing (replaced by a bit of wood??) and the contents of my pockets couldn't do the job, so I went back to my car for an appropriate tool. And a car pulled up, hmmm. Oh well, it's a scout hall, I figured I'd just keep walking around like I owned the place. Accessed the log book, added my sig, and put the cache back in place. I left my tool in the place suggested by the hint for the next lot of cachers (you'll thank me when you see what I mean). Cool! Cache found, log signed, job done, and I walked off round the corner.. "Hello! Are you Shane?" Um, no, I'm not. I figured this chap was connected to the Scouts so I explained that there was a GPS orienteering puzzle at the building which must have been put there by one of the Scout groups. Turns out he and "Shane" were there to do some sort of structural assessment of the building, but when I mentioned the word "geocaching" he said he had a mate at work that did that. So it seemed I was off the hook. I mentioned there was another puzzle hidden in the bushland nearby ("A Whale's Tale") and he seemed happy with that. Talking to him after finding the other cache it sounds like someone is sussing out whether to restore the old clubhouse or knock it down. TFTC!

With the iPhone wanting me inside the building it was time for a rethink. Soon spotted something that appeared not quite correct and tried to remove it. The whole thing wanted to come out but I managed to persuade the not needed parts to stay in place. Nicely done version of one of these, thanks nathybathy and mineek.

31-Aug-19
Very well done. Really enjoyed doing this cache. Fave point from me for the creativity. Tftc

31-Aug-19
Really well done, lots of thought into this. Fav point from us. Good job TFTC

03-Aug-19
Found on a quiet afternoon. The scouts were away, and the bowlers were focussed on the lawns.

Quick find while heading to bowls. Love it. Favourite point from me.

OCW The_Jugheads to sweep this area.

I was a bit anxious after reading the recent DNFs and notes, but after visiting another Junction cache today we had a chat and a giggle to ourselves about the name and we had a good idea of what we were looking for.

Great camo - favourite point awarded. TFTC Smile

16-May-19
Just quickly walked past, cache is still there in good condition! But looks like the updated camo is making it trickier to find. Keep on caching!

13-May-19
I'll be back

12-May-19
Had a big search but to tough for me

13-Apr-19
Great scout hall. All the bowlers were inside having after bowls drinks.

Littlest Geoson is quite taken with caching at the moment and insisted on doing some more today. Drove past and saw that the carpark was empty so figured it was a good time to get this one done. Without the pressure of bowlers and cars around the cache was clear to me today. Love creative caches. SL, TFTC!

06-Apr-19
Quick find on a warm Saturday afternoon, Vey clever cache. TFTC

02-Apr-19
Felt a bit too exposed today with a decent number of cars in the car park and the ladies bowling on the green opposite GZ. Having littlest Geoson with me wasn't ideal either. So after a quick look around, decided best to postpone till a quieter time ... will be back!

01-Apr-19
Great hide. We came yesterday & couldn’t see it. Had another go after picking boys from school.

20-Mar-19
Took a bit longer than expected, but the cache now should be slightly harder and more fun to find, and slightly easier to access at the same time!

04-Mar-19
Temporarily disabling this cache as I am updating the camo, should only be a few days at most.

19-Jan-19
Sneaky find. DF saw it quickly. We dropped the tool and had to use a stick to retrieve it. TFTC

19-Jan-19
No.1 on cache session with waterfist. Arrived at GZ and immediately noticed something off. Waterfist retrieved the cache but the pink thing fell onto the other side of the fence! Had to reach in with a stick to get to it. Love the camo, TFTC.

15-Jan-19
Updated the tool and ziplock so hopefully it's easier to access!

13-Jan-19
In plain view did not have a writing utensil though so took photo of log

TFTC, finding a similar one recently made this one a piece of cake. Still a super sneaky and clever cache! Nice one, nathybathy

31-Dec-18
We parked right next to GZ and, with no muggles about, soon had the cache in hand. Thanks nathybathy and mineek.

31-Dec-18
Picked up with Mr MR. Another local cache in the bag.

31-Dec-18
We came down early to beat the heat and earn the souvenir on offer today. It'll be my final find of a relatively quiet caching year.

This is a neat setup that works well. Thanks nathybathy and mineek, I think it's worthy of a favourite point.

31-Dec-18
Clever! First of the day to get us thinking... TFTC!

28-Dec-18
Surprised this one isn’t visited mire often - clever little cache well worth a favourite. Was taking a long hot walk in the national park so decided to walk up from Whale Rock - was only about 300m but all uphill. There were some ladies chatting in the car park but thankfully they moved on as I approached GZ. Quickly found the cache and needed an extra tool to extract the tool but was quickly in hand. Log signed and returned in minutes.
A nice design and will become even harder once the newness wears off - TFTC

25-Nov-18
Stopped off after leaving the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale, at Quarry Road Dural, for this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat (including some unexpected geo-chat with some geocachers from the Hornsby HAM radio club), but now it was time to grab some caches while on the homeward journey. This was the 7th of 11 finds, and 1 DNF, for the day.

Parked the geomobile in the parking area at the scout hall, then wandered over to GZ for a look. Instantly spotted a very familiar type of camo and, on closer inspection, it was CIH. Applied the "tool" and soon had the log in hand, which was duly signed and returned to it's container. TFTC nathybathy and mineek.

OCW the Bebes. Dropped by this one on a lazy Sunday arvo. Nice hide. Tftc

18-Nov-18
OCW PelDroedGwin and after clearing some newer caches in the North we headed over to North Epping.

The area was pretty quiet so we were able to search unhindered.
This was a nicely crafted cache and I liked the enclosed tool

Just the one today.
Decided on this recent placement - I can visit my PO Box on the way, then continue on to the Lachlan Megamall.

Parked close and followed the needle until... that looks a bit suss. Quickly spotted the likely hide. Made the grab and took away from the sightlines of the bowls rink.

Opened it, completed signing duties and replaced.
Methinks a smaller ziplock bag would work better, but it is nice camo.

Interestingly there was another name in the book from this morning so must be following someone else. Found after a couple of minutes then it was all easy. Tftc

Find #: 1,929
Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Warm spring morning
Cache condition: Good

I decided to aim my jog at this spot, so parked at the bottom end of Kissing Point Road and headed past Brown's Waterhole and then up to GZ. Once there it took a little while to find the camo (I was looking for something a bit bigger), and then _much_ longer to get at the log: the TOTT struggled against One of the Two, to the point where I almost gave up, but fortunately didn't and was able to access the inside. TNLNSL, then replaced everything (hopefully less tight, as PTH didn't seem to have any issues) and continued on my jog. Thanks for the cache.

30-Oct-18
Really well constructed hide and I didn’t see the “tott”as I had my own in the back of the car. Place was empty and CIH quickly, thanks nathybathy and mineek

27-Oct-18
A quick park and grab in my way to the football. The logbook was retrieved with my hands but replaced with the tool to make it as intended.

In my eagerness to rush and clear out my 10km radius again, I didn't read the description which nearly brought me undone. I would normally have what was required in the boot but today it was bare. In any case, I quickly spotted the camo and after remodelling a pen lid to act as a TOTT, some more careful observation brought clarity to the situation. Log was signed and all restored to its previous state, although I must have been over zealous with my effort according to jackscruff's log Smile

I too recall making a find nearby some years ago.

I used to live in North Epping years ago, before geocaching was even thought of. I know Epping Scouts, used to walk around the streets and bush tracks here every day.
That sort of gave me a heads up so I came prepared with my own tool for the first step. I didn't know what was required but had a suspicion after looking at google maps to refresh my memory of the spot. Hence I spotted the cache immediately. Luckily there were no muggles around or they'd wonder what you were doing!

Tarzan must have been here before me because although the pink tool was easy to access I couldn't make it work. Now I was wishing there was a muggle around! Spotted a tradey next door and he had something more easy to manoeuvre than the pink tool. Soon signing the log sheet and replaced everything as requested.

This is a good cache for your first one. Favourite point from me.

Joint {FTF} with Bigswifty1. Was on my way to Ryde and a message popped up so headed over to Epping got to GZ. I needed a special tool when Bigswifty1 turned up and had the tool. Cheers for the new cache.

Saw this one come up today.
I thought I would go and have a go at this today to see if I could get FTF.
I arrive at GZ and soon had the cache in hand.
Found the tool to help open the cache, very clever.
Got to the log and found a number of people had already beaten me to it.
Oh well.
TFTC.

Joint ftf with morry9 yay! Morry9 has done the hard part but some equipment was needed which I happily had with me. Such fun to find a cache only 300 metres from where I lived for over 20 years. Nice hide too, very clever and some effort and ingenuity! SL tftc!

Joint 2TF with Brewmaker. Gee you were quick Morry9! TFTC

24-Oct-18
Had just met up with EverestHigh about 5km away when this popped up. Of course, let's go. Unfortunately it was 10km by road with truck traffic, road works, construction workers and school kids slowing us. As we got close I saw the FTF had been logged. Missed by about 10 min.

Then we needed the required TOTT. Lucky I had EH as mine. Not one on us so EH improvised and eventually opened the cache. No sign of the provided pink tool? Missing already? Anyway it's a 2TF and a COTD for Brew.

Congrats on your first cache. Nice one. Giving it a FP for ingenuity. TFTC

You guys all found it so quick! Well done!
Tool is still there, will adjust the hint to help in locating the tool.
