After a super fun amazing walk along the beach we were unable to find the cache here today. Sad story!

18-Jan-22
Cache owner here. I visited the site in early January 2022, and the cache is still there, and easy to find (previous clue no longer applies, it should be very visible upon arrival at GZ).

Down this way hiding a few more caches, and had some spare time so checked the tide details and was in luck. A great cache expedition worthy of a Fav point TFTH

Reported tide level was 0.5m so we set off to do this one we've wanted to do for a while. Rock hopping, wave dodging we go to the wreck. The pvc pipe was nowhere to be seen but location of hidden cache is obvious when you step back for a look. Great spot for those willing to go on an adventure. Thanks for bringing us here. We'll do the next one on a day with lower tide

Mr ILT, Mr Richlink and Barnzy12 set off for these two coastal caches at 6am. It took 3.5 hours of rock hopping and wading to complete the circuit. We very much reccomend tackling this clamber at very low tide and with good weather, and yes, and don't forget to bring a friend. Fun was had by all, even though they were a bit bloody on their return.

This cache and the other nearby had been on our 'to do list' for a very long time. Geo-hubby and Mr iluvtrekking left Denmark at 5.15am to meet up with Barnzy12 at 6am at the Sandpatch carpark to take advantage of the low tide. Even at low tide it was a difficult trek with waves crashing onto the cliffs then bouncing back on them - no-one was unscathed!! At gz it was as the last visitor had reported, the cache had most likely been washed away. They had come prepared and Barnzy12 had a pvc container that was left as per the cache hint. Thanks Albany Canucks for the adventure.

Completed these two caches with Richlink and Iluvtrekking on a beautiful morning for caching. We metup at low tide 6am, and made the return journey in 3.5hours. The swell and the rising tide on the way back made wading through upto knee height water a must. Some slippery rocks and some blood was lost on the trail.

Amazing sights to be seen along this walk. Recommend bringing a companion as it’s very easy to slip up and do some serious damage.

A great morning thanks.

Came out here a few days ago and unfortunately no luck Sad
Searched and searched, and normally I’m no chances to give up, especially when latest logs are finds
Despite both the hints, and the description saying this should be an easy find, we were not successful.
Perhaps this one has been destroyed, or more likely, washed away??
Still a beautiful location and worth the walk despite no find. Even bumped into one of my mates fishing along the way

Cache owner here. It's possible that the cache has been washed away, because that has happened previously. If DNF is reported by another geocacher, I will have to archive it, since I'm not in a position to replace it right now.

{*FTF*} with Deep_99. We are over the moon to get a FTF on our holiday more than 3000km from home.
In WA from NSW for the WA Goes Big event with Deep_99. Nice quick find but getting there took some time. Loved the history and checking out the wreck. SL #3752 on streak day #2287 TFTC fav awarded.

{*FTF*} @10:45am with RIS768 We noticed this Cache yesterday evening while visiting the wind farm & as it was getting Dark decided not to make the trek in the dark without a torch, while walking along today we discussed it would have been a long walk in the dark over the rocks so we were glad to have waited to enjoy it in the daylight. I like these caches that take you on a journey to somewhere you wouldn't go without the cache being there, we were rewarded with a great sunny day for our walk
thanks Albany Canucks for placing this cache & bringing us on this journey
