### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Ryan00 and to take it off the playing board to prevent further inconvenience to our Geocaching Community.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer

Spending the day walking around the Trevallyn Recreation Area and finding a few caches.
Even though this has had a few DNF's we were walking past so we had a look for it.
We couldn't find anything at the co-ords so went through the old logs. These proved very helpful and had us in an area that seemed to fit descriptions.
There's been a lot of leaf litter dropped over time and I scratched around quite a few likely places. I looked in one spot and under a fair bit of it I spied the corner of the container.
Everything was good with it and we added our names to the log.
I found the cache about 15 meters away from the posted co-ords at S41 26.754 E147 06.454.

Returned with ProjectLichen but the creek was flowing rapidly due to idk rains or floods so we didn’t want to cross the creek.
Disappointing to DNF this one especially given how large the container is but light is fading and with previous finders saying inaccurate coords had to give up after a while
Sadly another dnf for me I just looked everywhere stumbled across some really big rocks but no find for me sadly
Sometimes a location can just fill your soul up. I loved this little hidden creek. I felt like I was 5yrs old again and exploring secret hide outs. Found at the end of a long walk through the gorge (which I’ve basically cleaned out of caches now). Thank you for my little adventure here today. Feeling refreshed
Quote the clamber from the track, over the creek and I spotted a likely spot. Cache was a little damn but still in good nick. Tftc
Another find on my afternoon walk. Co-ordinates seemed to be a bit out but after a wider search I soon had the cache in hand and the log signed. Thank you for placing and maintaining the cache.
The gps was a little off but not many spots for large rocks. A lovely quiet place TNLN TFTC
Packed the kids and doggo in the car and took a quick trip from Hobart to Launceston today. Met a friend for lunch and noticed that we still had a bit of time left before we had to head home. I did a quick search for dog friendly areas with regular sized caches and came along the Trevallyn Reserve. This was our fourth cache find for the day AND our 100th cache find! What a great cache to mark the occasion! Cache was found quickly by Mr 5yo and he was ecstatic to find some wonderful swaps included. Doggo really enjoyed the off leash area and did lots of zoomies through the bush Thanks for bringing us to this lovely area, really enjoyed our walk and found 5/5 caches for the day. TFTC
This one had me searching for a long time, I searched all around to what matched the hint but didn't get any where until I read the description, across the creek and the cache was found 18m from gz.
Today I planned to cleanup the rest of launceston with only 6 caches remaining within the area and the next closest being at hadspan which is currently disabled I thought I would get the mountain bike out and go for nice d easy spin round trevallyn to pick these last few up. ll the caches were found with one needing some maintenance.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

Our first cache of 2019 and our 550th logged find. We found the cache about 15m from where our GPS thought GZ was. Lot's of tree cover here so it's not surprising the GPS was a bit dodgy. The "large rocks" clue was a good hint, they really are huge and are the obvious feature in the immediate area. TFTC Ryan00. Happy new year.
After finding ‘cross tracks’ continued along the track the short distance to this recently placed cache. As got closer to gz, figured that the coords were off and started hunting around a rocky outcrop. Coming up empty handed decided to trust the accuracy of me GPSr which was leading me a little deeper into the bush. The tree cover was welcome relief from the heat and soon uncovered a well hidden away cache. Log signed, time to head for home.. thanks..!!
Back in Tassie finding caches published since our last visit and this was one of them
An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Rather than starting from the suggested trail head, we started from a point on Duck Reach Road. This approach required a "cross country" approach and the only tracks that we encountered were running at right angles to the direction we wanted to proceed. Negotiating the many fallen trees and limbs slowed our progress but eventually we got to the general area of GZ. Apart from the uneven walking conditions, the sun and the shelter from a cold wind made for relatively pleasant walking conditions. Once at GZ, we gradually widened our search area until we came across locations consistent with the hint. We located the cache about 12m from where our GPS thought that GZ was located, but given the heavy overhead tree cover and the gully location, a larger than normal discrepancy was to be expected. the cache and contents were in good condition. Then is was a challenging walk (at least for Mr y'stassie) to get back to the car. Thanks Ryan00 for the cache in an area we have not visited for some time.
I saw this cache pop in in an email that I didn't read until this morning, and noticed that it hadn't been found...hmmm, I know that track and can guess why noone had yet decided to traverse that way. So after working out the best way to approach this cache and merrily walking along and wondering if anyone else is out there now and getting close and getting excited...cache found and a fresh log book...yah me!!! As I love wandering around this part of the Gorge and Trevallyn Reserve I was glad for another reason to get out. TFTC.
2TF missed it! So many spider webs ended up in my hair today lol loving the big containers up here. Came from eagle Eerie & continued on the fire trail to here TFTC
Enjoyed the walk up after a hard days work and after a little search we had the goods in hand ....
