Found this morning while out riding. Very obscure puzzle, that led me down a few wrong paths. I had a crazy idea and thought, 'it can't be can it?' Entered the coordinates, and got a green tick! Easy find in a spot close to home, Tftc!

After leaving the car for a service I headed almost towards home on the bike. It was only almost because there would need to be some cache finding on the way. Taking advantage of being on the bike, the caching was on bike paths around Cobbler Creek Recreation Park. This was the fourth of five found, but unfortunately there were also two DNFs.
Thanks to BFE for putting out this cache.
Cache #13796 for me.

This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).

I am currently on my L-plates and wanted to get some hours up. Today was a perfect day for a big 6h drive mainly on the North Eastern side of the city. Lots of opportunities for parking practise, reversing, u-turns and finding a few of those mystery caches that my dad had solved throughout the year but never collected. Total tally was 18 caches visited and 18 caches found. Most caches were stamped with my dad’s stamp but when there was a pencil available he also added my name.
Thank you to all Cache owners

Our geodaughter Skyebird3 is on her L-plates and wanted to get some hours up. Today was a perfect day for a big 6h drive mainly on the North Eastern side of the city. Lots of opportunities for parking practice, reversing, u-turns and finding a few of those mystery caches that had been solved throughout the year but never collected. Today’s total tally was 18 caches visited and 18 caches found.

Cache # 13 & 14 found us back in Cobbler Creek yet again. Even though it had been a while I recognised the tracks and signs and even remembered some previous locations visited over the years.
Still we took the harder (but shorter) route to find #14 but decided to use the track to make our way back to the car.

One of our more recent solves that we somehow managed to get after failing when the cache was initially released. Sometimes it helps to take a break between attempting these Smile GZ location is perfect for a drive-by yet is secluded enough to not have worry too much about muggles, great for a quick grab on the way from A to B Smile Nice hide! It's always sad when they mess with an old classic! That's not the Bob the Builder song I remember.
The puzzle was really quite simple to solve once you know how. And the well themed hide just as easy to spot. Another find made while enjoying a walk on the way home from work.

Found It!
One of the more obscure Bob puzzles. After a hint at an event a while ago, it (kind of) made sense. Finding the cache was much easier, spotted the can as soon as I arrived at GZ!

Another puzzle that was solved just after it came out. I needed a nudge for this one, as it required a little obscure / [@Bob From Elsewhere](http://coord.info/PR1GJX9) thinking in order to solve. I did find it interesting that this was intuitive for some people, but a leap of faith for others.

A day of two halves: During the morning, a muggle friend and I mountain biked around Cobbler Creek Recreation Park, and in the afternoon, gridge98 and I did some geocaching south around Field River and Port Noarlunga chasing some more adventurous / high D/T caches.

The morning ride was a bit of fun as it was only the two of us from the usual group, so it was a chance to stop at the geocaches that we normally pass by. He even added his mark to the logbooks, but still not committed to geocaching to go to the next step and setup an account. A few kangaroos were seen in the park, and despite my numerous visits there, I had never seen the dam area, so that was kinda cool. Not a bad morning weather wise to be able to ride and concurrently geocache.

We rode up the nearby track, and this was practically on the way, so we made a quick stop in order to find this cache. I knew where it was almost instantly, so a very quick find. We both had a laugh at this camouflage, and obviously was nicely themed. The cache container and logbook was in good shape. Thanks [@Bob From Elsewhere](http://coord.info/PR1GJX9) for the geocache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Another day (or should I say night) heading out in to parts of the world which give me a care of Déjà Vu.

Had a good chuckle at GZ for the very fitting hide.

Thanks for the cache Bob From Elsewhere.

Very frustrating this one. Despite identifying the right way to build a solution from the start, fumbling fingers with the geo-checker caused us to dismiss what turned out to be the successful methodology,

So instead, plugged away with some 15+ other potential ways of arriving at 6 digits from the description.

They say “the thin line between life and death is still under construction.”. Reminds me of the sometimes thin line between solving a BFE puzzle cache and not - it's still under construction!!

But, a poor workman blames his tools.

So went back to where I started and bingo,

Arrived at GZ while BFE was being celebrated for his legendary lacrosse talent. Ask him! A bit scary to think I was "on the can" while talking to Bob congratulating him on his sporting achievements.

TFTC Bob, where C= Can!

Some interesting facts about cans:
1. Every 3 seconds a baby is born. In that time, 140 cans were born.
2. Used aluminum cans are recycled and returned to a store shelf as a new can in as few as 60 days. That means you could potentially purchase the same recycled aluminum can 6 times per year.
3. The average person consumes 2.5 cans of soft drink each day at work.
4. Recycling one aluminum can save enough energy to run a television for three hours.
5. gongbeater solved this puzzle while sitting on the can.

Today I ventured out with FeatherWaite and Bob From Elsewhere on a winter solstice safari to the northern suburbs. This was one of our targets.

Thanks BFE for the puzzle and the cache.

The prime focus for the day was to get some of the wandering animals closer to Bob nirvana. I'm nowhere near nirvana for solves let alone finds.

I had been MIA for the last few Wednesday Wanderings of the Puzzled Puzzler group for various reasons. Twisted So it was good to be available to join S.A. Sewer Rats, Blackadders and sushilord for a wander about in search of solved puzzles and anything else that we were passing. [^] In particular the last three offerings from BFE had been solved and needed to be collected. Cool

Bob the Puzzler
Can he confuse you
Yes he can.
Bob the puzzler etc.

Confused I was for quite some time and added quite a few of the red frownies to geochecker. And then those words from Freddo went buzzing through the head. Don't over think puzzles. It couldn't be.....could it [?] It was. Yet another smack yourself in the forehead and go DOH moment. [B)] All that was left was the very short walk in Bobbler Creek to find the appropriately camouflaged container. Smile Now for a longer walk.

**Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for this cache. ** Big Grin

An afternoon of caching with Michells&hound had been organised a long time ago after a number of BFE puzzles had been solved and were just waiting to be found. We had enough for a good afternoon then it was also decided that we would hold an event at Vili's to refresh ourselves afterwards. [^]

We had a good day, the weather was good, even if a bit cold, but with some of the walking it soon warmed us up. Big Grin

We found all the caches we looked for (without having to contact the BFE helpline) unlike our last BFE foray where we were constantly on the phone. SurprisedRed Face

This one took a lot of looking at and studying Bob the Builder, something I had not ever done before, but then it was all as easy as ABC. Surprised

Made the walk to GZ and when we were there realised that we could have parked much closer. Red Face

Thanks for the puzzle and cache BFE. Smile

So weeks ago planned an afternoon of caching in the Bobaverse with JJ52. We targeted the newly published "What" series and several others that neither of us had found. JJ52 made light work of the puzzle solving and a few weeks ago gave me a list of 15 caches to be found.
Fast foward 4 weeks and I was still yet to solve 4 of them and one I had found 'by accident'. Decided to find all 14 on the list with 4 still to solve. I have ideas for all but the day I was trying to do them the checkers didn't seem to be working.
It was a chilly arvo and I think we ended up walking a lot further than we anticipated but it was a fun filled afternoon and thankfully other than one cache all were found quickly. Lots of deja vu moments as we seem to return to places we have already been to seeking Bob caches and also some new places visited. Enjoyed some of the puzzles and some of the hides were rather good too. Bob continues to play tricks on my mind!!!
Finished the afternoon with an event at Vilis which was very well patronised.
No I can't fix it. It is not in the can. This one is too hard for my tiny brain. Will require help from JJ52 and the brain's trust to solve. Quick find at GZ. TFTC BFE

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Don't overthink the puzzle. This is the mantra.
So when this came out I looked and thought this will be easy. How wrong can you be.
Tried this. Didn't work.
Don't overthink the puzzle.
Try that. Didn't work.
Don't overthink the puzzle.
Try something else. Didn't work.
Don't overthink the puzzle.
Ask Bob for a clue. Given.
Ok try something else. Didn't work.
Don't overthink the puzzle. Packed it up. My brain hurts.
At the event today. BFE was present so I gave him my story of woe. He gave me an even better clue. Headslap.
Don't overthink the puzzle.
Coordinates found
Geochecker agrees. Plotted.
Drove to the area after work on the way home. Parked nearby and wandered over to GZ and quickly located the cache. Signed the log.
Project is in the can. Don't overthink the puzzle
Gratias pro cache BFE.

After picking up Astro he sat and nudged hellyonfire and me at dinner in the right direction. It wasn’t long before we realised that ‘yes we can’. Sometimes it is easy when you know how. TFTC both Bobs.

A walk around this area with the Muggle Sister and Nephew. They were not interested in searching for hidden boxes, just a walk with the dogs so the Adder himself was again left searching for this hide.
As usual the hard work was done by a much cleverer partner. She did however give me a push in the right direction which taught me that the puzzle was easier to solve than I thought for one of the Great BFE puzzles. A fav for the puzzle theme now I know how to solve it, It was fun although our new young Grandson is not yet into the builders.

Can I find it? Yes I can !!

Thanks Sir BFE

It was an easy puzzle to solve.

Try to can the can
Put your cache in the can, honey
Get him while you can

If you can

This puzzle didn't take too much building on obscure bits of information, codes or methodologies to solve. At GZ the views were clear, the walk was short, the find was sweet. TFTC BFE.

So this was our third target of the afternoon library of new publications.
First step was an oldie from the Bob collection, although it could have been so many others.
And from there it was a more bob-logical
path to a set of coords.
Transport was available and so I relocated to GZ.
Found in the first spot checked. Well it had to be there, didn’t it?

After studying for multiple hours for the 3 tests I have over the next 2 days it was nice to here the phone go ding.

I quickly put this aside as the other puzzle by the CO looked easier. After getting the green tick I decided to have a go at this as I was going to head to the area as it was.

I used to watch bob the builder when I was little and how sad is it to see they have changed the song from the original. Another reel obscure, guess what I am thinking puzzle that just seemed to be the first guess and some co ords come out of it.

Im glad I did not have to go swimming half way across the world to get to GZ and thanks to the checker for a correct final.
