Nope, came back after seeing Tufty, and still couldn't find it - on my return there was a painted rock at the old GZ
I am back out in the Western Heights area streaking to my heart's content.. My GPS lead me on a wild goose chase down the bank to other ponga trees. Then I re-read the cache page, oohh so that is where it is.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Out and about with the elder Future Finder for a few hours of cache detection. The aim is to find 3 "ruby" and one "topaz" to complete the "gems" level for the Muesem mystery promotion. Lovely weather for it today. With the gem level unlocked we intended to grab this one before getting a late lunch. However, a good search was unable to uncover the goods. Another call was made to the CO, this afternoon, and they soon arrived at GZ and confirmed the cache was MIA, with a replacement in hand. That is what I call 5 star service! Cheers for the cache (re)placement!
Weird how my caches here go missing....
To counter that my new one is in slightly diff place ...same gz...still down low...pill container ...no space for pen or toys.
Found lovely painted rock close by.....

Struggled to find others round here but this was a nice easy find. Only log inside so added a couple of little treasures.
Been meaning to get to this one for quite some time. Nice quick find in the heat today. Nice seat handy as well to sit and contemplate the meaning of life...cheers V.
Sat on the bench and pondered, looked down....mmm wonder if its behind there. TFTC supernanny
Hi Supernanny. I went for a walk around the lake tonight with my family. I am sorry to report that the stone was moved and the space was empty tonight. Someone must have taken it again
A big thank you Supernanny Just found it after reading your update. It was where I thought it would be when I first looked for it. The cache was exposed so I have signed the log and tucked it safely away with the rock in place. Thanks again for replacing it.
We headed out a little late tonight to make our cache find, after first getting a Trick or Treat visit from our six granddaughters. We arrived at GZ in the last light of the day, and made the find after a few minutes of searching. This is a nice peaceful spot - thanks for bringing us here.
Could see the hidey spot and the extremely convenient seat, which was unfortunately occupied so this was more a case of did not look. They didn't look like they were leaving any time soon so will save this for another day.
I saw this come out but had not been to enjoy this pleasant stroll. After reading some rogue painted rock finders had managed to stumble upon it, no mean feat given it was well hidden, and knowing the CO was away I came to collect the smiley and check the cache. The rogue rock people had put it back exactly where found and rehidden it well. Always a pleasant stroll around here especially on asunny day like today.
I had the day off and it was too nice to be inside and I really needed a walk so I headed to Lake Panorama where I really enjoyed doing the circuit of the lake and finding the cache on the way round. My phone had me initially looking on the other side of the path but when I turned round I spied the cache as it was a little exposed so I rehid with a rock in front of it. Thanks for bringing me back to this lovely spot
Went out to get this cache one day. Bit too busy looking at a Tui and listening to wind chimes so I forgot to look at the distance and walked right past it. Went back and found it quickly. TFTC
A very pleasant walk round this area. Crafty hide certainly earned a favourite from me. Tftc
I was in 2 minds about heading to work today with the rain coming down. I had an outside job to do and didn't fancy getting wet with the power tools. Then in my quandary, this cache came out while I was enjoying my coffee watching Breakfast on TV1, so I haven't had a {FTF} for such a long time.... yea right! So thought... why not try. I was there in about 12mins.
Turned into Wychwood Ave and I just saw someone in a people mover get back into their vehicle, I parked up slamming the brakes on and it had an Indian name for the number plate, so I assumed false alarm, a quick look at the map on the phone, and I realise I'm not quite close enough to GZ, so shot around the corner into Clapton Pl. This was ideal!! I was only 19m from GZ when I got out of the Gorby wagon. Didn't take me long to find the sneaky hide at GZ! Well done supernanny, good hide, opened the 2 containers to reveal a nice blank log! So that was a bit of a rush, so back home now for the rest of the day off.
I remember this lake well! My cousin got married here 10 or more years ago, I did the photography!
Thank you for another cache supernanny!
