Met up with Glen after work today to head to the food stalls at Holy Trinity, and grab a few caches. This one is not far from work, but seemed like it might require an extra pair of hands.Upon arriving at GZ we waited for muggles to pass and then did the necessary, with me doing my best flautist impression. A fun hide and a good way to relax after a long day at work. Tftc #1889
I loved how this cache makes use of existing infrastructure to create a hydro puzzle designed to surprise. Cache obtained with SmallPooka and a great afternoon was had. Food trucks and a couple of other caches knocked off the list.. TFTC
M26: dot day today, my little sister finished school early, and my mum was finishing up work, I had to try this cache after being unsuccessful the first time, because I was by myself, now with extra pairs of hands, this cache was easier to retrieve and sign.Yeah! Nice to finally get a smiley on this.I thank my mum and sis for assisting. Fp given. TFTC.
I could see it but was about 1980ml of finding it. Logged as a DNF so I can return one day
#392This one was a bundle of laughs. Had a friend with me to cover the holes but not quite enough water fortunately I was aided by a TOTT. Thanks for the hide !
Another day in Auckland with eyespyben and ABCDF4. Boy did we make hard work of this one. It was not where we expected. Thankfully after reading the cache page we had no trouble getting our hands on the log. Thank you for the placement.
In Auckland for a few days Holiday. Came to the cache prepared...... only needed just over a litre as we had all bases covered with the two of us. Have seen caches like this before but this one was a bit more special as it was using existing infrastructure. A fav point for the effort and fun cache.
Thank you Mikkyp for placing this cache.

Came last week with the advised quantities and failed dismally needing a third hand and not having one. Returned today with additional tooling and was in and out before a car even appeared.. let's not worry about the train that had appeared and stopped next to me in the meantime....
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
I had the suggested quantity of water, but that were a few more leaks than anticipated. After refilling the water bottles and plugging many leaks I had the cache in hand.

Found it. Visiting from Aus in the biggest wet ever. Don't have a pen to log your sneaky cache. Greetings from Adelaide South Australia
After figuring out the technique, the nearby Newmarket Park was quite handy for topping up my hydrotechnic supplies.
I was busted mid-solve by a muggle driving through, who must have thought I had lost every marble and then some. I recommend the cover of darkness for anyone else coming through. I left a small bit of loot. Thoroughly enjoyable, definitely a favourite of mine so far.

Out exploring aickland this morning. A bit of head scratching and deciphering the clue. Found it. Great apot
Older Mini-Geo had a youth group event at the Domain so I thought it was a great opportunity to find some local caches before pick up time. Laval and B4Dawn agreed to join me so off we went!
The evening was coming to an end but not before 'just one more'. We knew what we would need here and was prepared which meant it was a nice quick find and we were on our way again.
Thanks for the cache.

Out with Keylev and Laval to grab a few caches in the area.
Knew what we were going for and Keylev always has such a TOTT available. Had to top up, though but cache was soon in hand. Tftc

Ahhhh, another one of these neat gadget caches I only recently did something just like this a couple weekends ago in Cornwall Park, so knew exactly what was required. Read the hint and OMG - I've miraculously got a full 1.5L bottle sitting in my bag... Should I use it to gain a smiley, but diminish my water supply - Heck yes, anything for a cache! Plugged up the gaps and watched the cache slowly rise to the top, but noooo - it's just short and then my plugs fell out and all my water was wasted. I suppose that's why the hint says "2L" and not 1.5! Anyway, all hope wasn't lost as I managed to invent a cheeky tool which I used to extract the cache once I figured out the correct technique. Signed myself in before replacing as found. TFTC Mikkyp!
After completing my tennis training at the Next Generation tennis club this morning in Grafton, I thought I'd make the most of my time in the city and collect some caches... AND attempt to break my "Most cache types in a day" record In the end, I walked 17.1km through Parnell, Newmarket, Mount Eden, Epsom and Sandringham (See attached image), over 7 hours and made a grand total of 23 finds including 9 Traditional's, 4 Earthcache's, 3 Ad labs, 2 Wherigo's, 2 Mystery's, 1 Letterbox, 1 Multi and 1 Virtual - 7 cache types in 1 day Thanks very much to all the CO's for their wonderful hides, but these two caches - GC89NQA & GC9AZC6 deserve a massive shoutout because they are some of my all-time favs!

In the rough area for a solved puzzle and headed up here to check this one out. I'd (foolishly) left my water back in the car but nature helped be with the extraction here and after getting the technique right I was soon signing in and replacing as found. T F T C Mikkyp
Another Friday morning early start on the trail had me rolling out the gate at 0615 and on the hunt nice and early. My aim for the day was to pick off a few of my previously solved puzzles, as well as any nearby other caches as I passed nearby. Not a fully successful day with a few early morning DNFs to start off but a few new places seen and 11kms of walking and home just after lunch. As ever, thanks to all COs for their caches.

Well was not planning for this type of cache but was able to get at the log and make the find. Visiting Auckland on HMCS Calgary
My trustie geo mate came with me and the teamwork came in very handy. Lots of fun thanks.
We knew what to expect so went with all the necessary equipment. A nice location and great use of items at hand. Easily retrieved and log completed. Thanks CO for the cache.
Didn’t have water bottles on us so had to get creative with the water movement techniques. Got it in the end, TFTC!
After meeting up with a work colleague for Lunch today I decided to collect a cache before heading back home, to work from home (still). I managed to find a car park not too far from GZ and made the short walk to the new section of road. Started on the wrong side of things, initially, but soon tracked GZ down. I came prepared to perform some hydrotechnics (that handsome devil, marksean, must appreciate that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery!), but, I decided on another course of action. Using my trusty TOTT I was able to fashion a tool fit for purpose from nearby materials. It worked a treat and I was soon completing the formalities. Cheers for the cache placement!
For some reason I needed to get out of the house and find some Geocaches. This was on my list for today. TFTC.
Had noticed this cache the last time I came past and remembered to bring the requisite item today. It was nice and quiet with the intermittent rain, and I quickly had the solution sorted, fun cache here, cheers
On from work found it. On the west to work I actually got to it! Very nice. Thanks heaps!
Out walking in the area today so stopped to grab a smiley for this cache. Had all we needed, so once we saw what was required, made short work of signing the log. TFTC
Been once, been twice, and found with extra pair of hands of Dracophyllum. That is one clever arrangement; definitely a favourite, TFTC.
Found today while out with Xanthelou. We were looking in the wrong place initially but then we looked behind us and spotted the cache location. Had not to much difficulty getting the water in the pipe to retrieve the cache. We had great fun trying to locate and retrieve this cache.
Well worth a favourite point!

Walking in the area, but didn't notice the cache name until after I had found it. Luckily it was raining and the gutter was within reach. Found an small chip packet nearby which I could use to ferry water, but insufficient digits to block holes, so had to improvise with leaves and stick bits. Eventually got the water to the top, but the cache remained stuck half way up. After several attempts of adding water, thumping the shaft, while still stopping the biggest hole with my thumb, got the cache to the top. Very damp at the the end of it all, but at least no muggles to worry about on a wet and rainy night. Thanks a lot for this challenging cache.
Found..... but...... we cannot sign the log since we came rather unprepared. Doom and gloom for us, sadly, and onto the next. Very ingenious cache though! Well done!
Really disappointed we couldn't retrieve the cache we didn't have the tools required we even got some water in the hopes it would float. We have to leave with a disappointing look on our faces. Tftc.
TWS and I had a few targeted caches today and this was the first one after the event. My GPS decided to turn into a brick so it was great to have company and this cache was much easier with two. Thanks for this cache
I was out for a morning run and this one was only 60m from where were staying but it was on the other side of the railway line so I had to run around the long way. When I arrived at GZ I saw what was required (I have a similar one near my home) but did not have the right resources to retrieve it so I had to make do with another TOTT that I found hanging around to help me sign the log

Well found Charlie - great little cache - Dad would never have thought to look there.. lucky we had the tools.. thanks
Last time we have been cashing in the area, we came unprepared and had to leave empty handed. Today we were prepared and successful. It made our smallest team member really proud, that his help was needed to retrieve the cache. So thanks for that! Your cache made a little boy very happy and was a good start for a nice afternoon of family-cashing. Signed as "Team Piraten". TFTC
What a great cache! "Das war spaßig!"

Third attempt lucky. Thought we had what we needed 2nd time but needed something a little extra. Fun cache. Thanks.
Knowing the type of cache, and having read the log I brought 2 tools with me. The sneaky one went on first. Making tool 2 easy to use. Cache retrieved and signed. Tool 1 removed, ready for the next cacher. Cudos to the CO.
Our 2000th find was fast approaching and we wanted to make it special so had to find a cache a little different than the norm. This one met the criteria perfectly, a bit of a challenge in an interesting location.
We drove past here last week to check out the new road layout and worked out the best place to park would be in Cowie Street however today the entire street was coned off for roadworks so we had to park a little further away, but this wasn't a problem as we love Newmarket and enjoyed the walk.
A muggle was walking right in front of us as we approached GZ but once she had moved on we had the area to ourselves and soon located the tricky hiding spot.
We had come prepared with the necessary H2O and a bit of teamwork enabled us to retrieve the cache reasonably quickly although our execution was a bit clumsy leading to Mrs Coblet getting a direct hit and ending up rather damp. But as it was a warm night this proved to be quite refreshing.
We imagine our activities would have looked quite comical, and been hard to explain if challenged, so were pleased no one observed our antics. But we obviously picked the perfect time as within seconds of re-hiding the cache a number of muggles appeared on the scene, both on foot and by car, all none the wiser.
Thanks Mikkyp for a great cache and for making our 2000th find so refreshing.

Went out with supernanny, superwhirlpool, lastkane, and kaneclan to this awesome cache. Not what I expected but good fun covering the holes and getting the cache. One of the best ever caches!!!!TFTC
Had been really keen to do this one ....but when I read more about it I realised it would be even more fun in a group....especially with children who have never seen this type before!
Teamed up with my eldest grandchildren D10A10N , Super Whirlpool ; and their parents Kaneclan1234 and LastKane.
( aka their taxi service ! )
We certainly needed the teamwork here!
Was great fun....Did it with H2O to spare!
Can't believe we were out in the open....
Great to see this new road and path...and got to see heaps of trains...many thanks Mikkyp

I had to drop my nephew off to his mother in Mission Bay after he had spent the weekend with me. Decided to come and find this cache on the way. We had come prepared with about 2.5 litres but only had to use about 1.5l. Mr 8 did the honours of retrieving the cache, while we tried not to get wet! He really enjoyed this one.
Joined up with Merlot58 to find a few new caches in the area. We hadn't read the cache description thoroughly enough and parked a long way away from GZ . Then we took the difficult approach to GZ where the cache was quickly located, and extracted. We then realised we had no pen, so walked back to the car with the cache in pocket (hoping no one would be looking for it) and signed ourselves in, before driving back to GZ to return the cache.
Note to self, read description first before attempting to cache! We parked in totally the wrong place, then tried a higher terrain than necessary route to gz and discovered a wall and railway tracks in the way! Once we figured out where we needed to be we arrived at gz to discover that despite plenty of water, we had no pen! Are we geocachers or what?! We took the cache back to the car and quickly signed the log then did a drive by to drop the cache back in place. Thanks for the adventure!
Got a phone call, it was FMZ and do I want to go and get a cache? Well... I WAS thinking about bed, but thought what the heck, let's go. Picked him up and off we trotted along the motorway. I was driving and he was navigating and we made GZ quick smart! Now the fun begins, we came prepared with 3 x 1.5L bottles, but we didn't need it all though. I thought I had all the bases covered but missed one spot and was rewarded with a big wet patch across the frontage of my shorts! What a hoot! Jandals wet, shorts damp great fun! Thanks MikkyP for the cache and great pozi for it too btw! A FP and a joint {FTF} with FMZ.

Saw this come out and new what would be involved, ie better with 2 pairs of hands, so called Gorby and told him to jump in the car and head over. I filled some bottles and we headed to GZ. All relatively quiet and dry at GZ so figured we were probably first. Well Gorby had a go at leak prevention, and I poured. And gorby got wet. But we got the cache, opened it up and the log was both dry and empty for a joint [FTF] TFTC!!!
