Logs
Great hide! Took a newbie today to show what caching is all about. He loved it too.
Read the descriptions that its not near the clue, that it blends in, and is well magnetised. Didnt want to give up but we had things to do.
After spending 2 days at Copley and 4 days in Arkaroola we were heading towards Quorn for a couple more days. We stopped in Blinman for the Mine Tour.We stopped here on the way into Blinman and after an extended search we gave up and went onto our tour. While in the tour I noticed another cacher had visited and logged this cache. With the bit of info gained from their log we decided to give it another go. It wasn't long before one of the group found the cache, not so close to the pivot as the hint suggested. It did blend in well.Reading the information sign, it gave us a chuckle reading how the operators had to throw a stone as a way of communicating with each other due to the noise. TFTC Freddo.
From previous logs I thought finding this cache would be like taking a Lolly from a baby. However with caching it aint always that easy and with the cache blending in to the colour of the grader, it was harder than I thought. Slightly further from the pivot. Tftc
This a new account but I found this cache with my mum (EmsDan1315) and my brother (maggies123) on 17-7-2024 TFTC.
Freezing cold morning looked in every nook and cranny and did not find today.
Spent 15 mins looking but did not find. Wasnt sure exactly what type of container we were looking for.
I would not call it the front pivot, its in plain viewPS Ive liked all the little lady birds
On our travels we found ourselves in Blinman and after the mine tour and of course a pub lunch stopped to grab this cache, it took longer than it should have as I guess it may crept a little, thanks for placing this cache
In Blinman to start the Mawson trail. Enjoying a walk after dinner. Not quite where we thought from the hint. TFTC
Found it! Found on our morning walk from our accommodation. Love the peace and quiet out here, blue skies and very windy this morning! #410 TFTC!
In Hawker for a few days holiday, grabbing a few caches on the way . Today was a trip to Blinman copper mine. Quick find on a warm day TFTC
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and now in the Flinders Ranges. We haven’t been further than Hawker on previous trips and are in awe of the stunning scenery. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches along the way. We headed off on a round trip from Hawker to Blinman. The scenery was stunning. We also enjoyed the history of the area. Thanks for the cache.
Sure would have been a great working environment...could even smoke. Thanks for bringing us here

Found while on hearse068 50 th birthday bash. Hearse068 had done this before so I wandered off on my own to find it. Thank for bringing this spot to our attention . TFTC
Great spot took 3 people 15 mins to find and a guy had to tell us what a front pivot was good job
The third old grader we’ve had to stop and look at in as many days! At least No 29 had a cache to find! Thanks for the clue, might have been a different story without it:
Out and about finding some amazing caches in this wonderful place with Mickyfam4 and Zobo01. TFTC
Initially went past this one, proceeded to u-turn then by the time we got back Mr 8 had located it and Redmond was signing the log. Put my mark in the log next to the others and we were onto the next one. TFTC.
I am on an adventure from Canberra to Port Augusta with Boston my geohound to stay with my Dad. Today we decided to drive to Hawker then Wilpena and through the gorge and just had to get this cache, such a historic little town and got to gz read hint and Dad helped me find it as he likes these machinery. Great heavy drawn grader tftc Freddo the chocolate frog
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Freddo for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

I didn't find it but I got help from two other geocachers who found out after just 5 minutes. Good camouflage! TFTC
Thanks for the hint as there were so many hiding places on that piece of machinery
Loving been out this way. such a fabulous part of the country. we’re here to do the mine tour and I think it’s gonna be awesome
All good things come to an end.. And so did our month long road trip through SA and the NT. We found this one while on our long way home from the Flinders to Melbourne. Cache was a quick find, TFTC!
Off we head to the north finding stuff with satelites!! On the great Frog'n'cat adventure of '22...
Only took five minutes to find this minty little devil. A nano would have been so much more fun
Much thanks to Freddo for locating and maintaining this cache on our geo-travel map

Searching, spotting and signing cache logs with Purrfect Di, Jack, and the Froghoppin Duo, using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that luck stuff actually !!!
*Logs are composed and published with love using GSAK of course.*

Caching is quite a hazardous activity!
Watch out for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for germs and bugs !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the Only bugs you share and pass on
Now there's no real restrictions - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Heaps good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thanks so much for reading all this addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log

Staying in Blinman for a few days with Mattycat and PerfectD we spent the morning in the mines before hitting the road to explore the area, a late afternoon trip through the gorge provided us with many stunning colours where the sun kissed the hilltops, soon we were back in Blinman with this our last and found by torchlight all in good condition
