This cache should be enabled. It is there as per hint. It has a dry log scroll and can be found. Thanks
Such lazy caching adding a needs archiving after happily logging. The LID is there just hadn’t been put on the lovely container by previous cachers. Replaced the log screwed on the cap and returned to hiding spot.
Would be such a shame to archive this due to lazy caching. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hide.

Day 3 of a 6 night break on the island. The cache was easily found but the condition of it is in dire need of attention. The log paper is as hard as stone as a screwed up wad in a container with no lid collecting water every time it rains. As the owner has not been on the site for 2 years it would probably best to just archive it. Thank you for the placement of the The Logging Log cache WOODofTREES find number 8458 on 11 September 2021 at 3:45 pm
Found by The Boofs while on holiday TFTC . Managed to place our smudge on the wet log!!
Mr and Mrs Parrot took a trip overseas to Kangaroo island for the week.
We had a lovely time finding caches and interacting with the people selling produce and food to the public.
It fabulous to see the green starting to come back into the fire ravaged areas. We had hired a house in Kingscote and ventured out each day in a different direction to see the sights and what the island had t off.
We also picked up 60 odd caches along the way.
My thanks for the quick responses to the Geocaches and the virtual cache which we sorted out before logging.
It was good to be able to complete Wonders of the world and become an Ultimate Explorer during my stay.
My that's one big log

That pencil is the cutest thing I've seen all day - and I saw baby seals today! Tftc
We were very lucky to be able to spend time with family on the Island and introduced our grandson to caching. He had a great time seeing the wildlife, playing on a playground and finding 'treasure'.

We were on the Island with TubbyBooBoo and ZoBo01. My word what a huge log, thankfully the fire didnt reach it. Nice warm day for the Black Dog Ride, this end of the town was quiet, quick find. TFTC
Found by Olga at 19:12 on our way back to American River, but not before a quick stop at the pub for a pint of Furphy's
TFTC! Was a little stuck and we couldn’t get it out but we found it at least! Came down to this town to grab some ice cream but unfortunately we couldn’t get anything because everything was shut. Just glad we managed to get a geocatche in our trip!
TFTC! Our car broke down and while waiting for it to cool, we got this cache. Thanks!

On our way back from an adventures quad-tour we stopped in Pardana to have an icecream and buy some groceries. As there was one of the seldoms caches on Kangaroo Island we made a short visit at GZ and were successful after a short search.

Needed the hint to spot it. Enjoyed a cuppa and an ice cream in Parndana. Thanks WOODofTREES.
Right after the bushfire assist concert I stopped here. It took me longer than normally - I was just blind to see the container in the sunset.
Thanks for the cache

Having some R&R in Kangaroo Island, staying with Dunmowin during the Christmas New Year week. Today we headed out to do some sightseeing and of course grab a few caches. This took longer than it should have. Our GPS had us at the wrong end to start with but eventully made the find! TFTC
This is the 4th day of our Kangaroo Island tour. I have been here before, 14 years ago but the scenery is well worth another visit and this tour has taken us to several different places.
Our lunch stop was at the Parndana Pub. I'd noticed a couple of caches in the town and hoped to grab a couple while we were here.
Our bus pulled up and while all the others sat around waiting for the lunch to be served I walked down to The Logging Log. A brief search and I spotted the cache. SL and returned to the pub - lunch hadn't even appeared yet.
Its a good sign as you enter this town, right in the centre of KI. After lunch there was time to have a look at some of the historic information. I was surprised that the town was only established in 1951.
TFTC Unfortunately it was the only one I was able to get in this town - next time!

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
We are here visiting, house and farm sitting for three months. There are only 88 caches on the island. Hope we get smilie faces on all of them.
Heading back from the west end towards Stokes Bay, called into Parndarna for fuel, food and dump point
Quick find early Sunday morning - no muggles here today. Thanks WOODofTREES for showing me this spot, we followed up by going into the museum for some more history.

Found it together with vogi84 during our honeymoon in Australia. Greetings from Switzerland. Today we drove from Kangaroo Island to Adelaide. After visiting Stone Bay, we did a short stop here. TFTC
Today was our last day on KI so the plan was to potter around the northern part and see a few places we hadn't been to yet... and find some caches of course. After a visit to Stokes Bay, we came back to Parndana to buy some lunch... and then find this cache before leaving. A nice easy find in a quiet location.
Thanks **WOODofTREES** for putting this cache here.

This was day two of a two week trip to Adelaide, starting with Kangaroo Island. We headed to over to Seal Bay to see the seals and Vivonne Bay to see the vivonne.
We followed a sign and turned up Harriet Rd. to try to find a restaurant at a vineyard. It turned out to be closed down, so we ended up in Parndana and had a nice little lunch at a deli.
On the way out of town, we stopped to get this cache, which was a nice little hide on a bit of history. TFTC.

Found this one on our way around the Island. Thank you for the cache and greetings from Swiss cachers.
My brother and his two kids joined me for a big day out on Kargaroo Island. They are not officially geocachers but do enjoy the hunt and the great places geocaching takes you.

Found this while driving over the island. We had to replace the container. Luckily I had a PETling in my bag. I never saw this kind of cache here, but in Switzerland and many parts of Europe they are very common. So this might be the first of his kind on KI.

Time to explore beautiful Kangaroo Island! In the end it will have been our wildlife day with seals, fur seals, guana, echidna, koalas and kangaroos. We started with Bales beach before heading to the seals bay board walk. Next stop was Hanson Bay Koala Sanctuary with an exclusive photo shooting of very handsome koala models. Of course we had also to visit Admirals Arch and Remarkables Rocks. On our way back to Parndana we took a little detour to Stokes Bay in order to take the tunnel walk from Pebbles Beach to Paradise Beach. Along the ways we stopped for several boxes and earthcaches.
Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining the boxes and earthcaches.
Found and logged together with Swerik, Mikaching and GPS-Wickie.

Unfortunately we only had one full day on Kangaroo Island. So we had to pick and choose the locations carefully. We started our day at Seal Bay Conservation Park. After a nice walk at the beach we went to see the seals. We continued to Hanson Bay Koala Sanctuary and then went to Admiral’s Arch and remarkable rocks. Before we went back to Parndana we took a detour to Stokes Bay Beach.
Thanks to WOODofTREES for placing the cache.
