We located the cache easily but then had to improvise a suitable tool using our phone charger cable and a stick. We were very surprised it worked. We don't usually travel with the general tools required for many of the less common caches but we still got this one.
found this but couldn't get it out without a tott. hilariously I could see all the sticks on the ground from attempts by others!
Great spot, after spending 10 mins looking at the wrong spot it became obvious where it was. TFTC
TFTC! First ever duck cache, hooray! Took a while to get out but after finding a stick perfect for the job, I got it out!
Only a few people in the park while we were here, all on the seats facing the other direction. So while the going was good, we got cracking with getting the cache. We're finding having a bag of TOTTs is a handy thing with 'duck' caches and the obvious thing needed for extraction was right here with us. Great hide! TFTC duck 43.
Today Taurus six and I started the day up in Perth after a lovely evening at the theatre last night. We needed to get back to Bunbury at a reasonable hour today but in the meantime our plan was to weave through the suburbs geocaching. Our main focus was to clear up more Adventure Lab elements but whenever traditional caches or other caches were near by we collected them as well. For late May the weather is still beautiful and almost too warm which is concerning. We ended up visiting some lovely areas mainly south of the river and the highlight was our visit to Wireless Hill which neither of us had visited before and wow what a fabulous place it is, we really enjoyed exploring around here. Air in all a great day geocaching .This is the first cache find of the day along with many near by Adventure Labs. We really enjoyed this area and had a lovely walk around . There were lots of muggles around enjoying the Sunday morning sunshine. We pretty soon realised where this cache was , just needed to be patient with the near by muggles. Very happy to finally have cache in hand, logged and replaced. Thanks for the cache Duck 43 .
Located the cache but it had slipped out of reach. Had to use sticks to fish it out. Once secured we signed the logbook and repositioned in the correct position. TFTC
Thiessen 5 and Thiessen 7 found this geochahe on a beautiful walk around the river! be careful as there are lots of muggles in the area!
Woohoo !!! Found it !!!Another Duck43 ticked off the list Was in the city and had a few hours spare to took the opportunity to show may daughters Duck43s handwork
One of of the hardest find to get out of the pipe. Super hard but help from Callmehbobdanoob1234 let us log the cache. TFTC
Hello duck sorry for messaging you saying it was impossible to get out.Hut after all it takes time.TFTC
Happy Valentines find after a lovely brunch.Surprisingly an easy Duck find but a very long and frustrating extraction even with the use of geohubbys toolbox in the back of the ute. Tftc.
Dont mean to blow my horn but because duck43 has caused me so much pain in my life i will, it was easy to retrieve!!! awesome design though, loved it. i looked to my pen for some inspiration
Hoorah finally found one which was really easy, but so difficult to get out, TFTC
Found the cache but couldnt retrieve it, but after a little walk we returned and tried a different technique and succeeded. Great hide and challenge
Interesting. I found a similar technique around Belmont / Kewdale. Thanks Duck for placing this cache.
Took a few different creative approaches but finally success! Thanks for the conundrum. Found with TheQuantumQuark
Well it is always obvious when you know how Took a bit for us to retrieve. We must have walked back to the van 4 times to get a different tool each time We finally had lunch and figured what it needed to get to that pesky logbook. Finally, yay Thanks duck 43
In town and always like a Duck cache. Headed and soon spotted it. Thought about one thing and then tried another to soon have cache in hand. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
I love ️ this one. Looked everywhere for an assistance tool hidden nearby, but no. Eventually worked it out to the smirks and chuckles of Danile2:22 who was enjoying my frustration. Absolutely love it. Thanks duck 43. Five stars.
Enjoying a river walk on this breezy winter's day looking for 7 ducks and 2 cravo's. Retrieved this sneaky hide with an innovative TOTT. TFTC, duck43!
Full time nomads since February 2014, back in WA to visit family.
After our short 'Duck' hunt yesterday with the weather forecast looking good we decided to have another go today! Well that was a decision being 2nd guessed all day with our 5 DNF's and lengthy lengthy searches. We have been accused of having painted on eyes before, I think today was definitely a case of that. We normally share the finds during our day but Mrs F failed to find a single cache today
Great day for bike riding at least but we forgot our water bottles so an expensive purchase at Heathcote when we finally got there. Didnt come across any water fill points today, unlike yesterday.

Quick find and soon found how to get it out TFTH SL another Duck43 deserves a favorite.
Mama elephant thought she had found it but curious elephant jr found the actual cache. The screwdriver we had in our bag helped. TFTC
Found it. TFTC duck 43. Quick find here but that didn’t help. Had nothing with me to retrieve the cache. It was a case of being so close, yet so far away. Had to improvise but got it finally, just. Replacing it was the easy part. Another FP
Found with WayneO. We loved finding this one as we found it very clever. Have a favourite point! TFTC
Catching up on some late logs. Staying close by here and having a bit of spare time we thought we would wander around this lovely foreshore area. Lots of caches to be found, and they seemed to be a bit different with added challenges, which we really enjoyed. The caches along here just get better and better. Envy all the Perth cachers that have more time than us. We came, we pondered, and made the connection. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Third cache down & another ingenious hide, glad to have the extra brain power (geotrakka, Neva2old, monkeywand & hollowfrog). Tftc

Lovely new cachers so joined forces and headed out to show them some quality hides. Neva2old got her hands on this one. Obvious spot but with a twist - wouldnt expect anything less from duck43. Thanks so much for your ingenuity

Tricky hide. Soon had it worked out. Very clever. Found with TeamBarritts and BJA3
With a spring in our step cyclone and I quickly had the cache in hand. Tftc!!
Day 2 of caching around Perth. The targets today were some pole caches, some challenge caches and some of the brilliant high favourite point caches placed by . I can see why these caches have so many favourites. Some I found. Some I didn’t. Some I abandoned early on as I had no idea. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for my enjoyment.
Tftc.
Very obvious. My first idea failed but my second worked. Brilliant.

Was about to walk away without putting my name on but a bit of open mindedness and got pen to paper
Tftc found but can’t find extract to log . No tools. Ok got it! Needed a different skill!
On foot when the skies opened up. Managed to spot the obvious cache but unable to retrieve it in the rain.
Came here are few different times with a few different strategies and the last one finally worked!!

Yes it was Obvious to find but not extract. After a bit of a play we worked it out and soon signed the log. Now off to show SSR a bit of magic!
Thanks duck 43
With the Wangaratta mega postponed, I suggested to stainless steel rat that perhaps a Perth trip was in order, knowing full well he hadn’t graced the West yet. We used up one of our last airline credits and with a little top up we were set. As usual we had a hit list of high D/Ts, virtuals (although I had done most on previous trips), oldies, large caches and favoured ones. We only scratched the surface but had a blast doing it.
We brought a ladder and pole with us but kayaks were going to be way too much to cope with on a five day whirlwind visit! Thanks to the many CO’s for their hides, maintenance and assistance.

This was a late addition to our caching plans and I'm pleased we did too, very well done i enjoyed this one.
Myself and Goose had many plans for the tickets we used for this trip, i cant remember the details but I think it was three canceled Mega's and after the last cancellation we only had so long to use up the tickets and with a little bit of cash added we worked out we could have to a trip to Perth to hunt for some fine looking caches.
A 'shortlist' of 587 caches was put together for the trip albeit with the PQs of the whole state as a backup just in case we wanted to forgo sleep, in the end we found 120ish caches in 4 and a bit days, 60 of which were in the 4WD FOTT Go Bush series.
While we were over we got a chance to go to a GIFF Event and briefly meet a few of you locals, thanks for the chat.
Thanks for the cache.
