#22770 @0650I spent the morning finding a few caches before meeting up with others from Canberra and some locals to do the Box Vale Tramway walk. Cache easily found. TFTC.
Streak Day #3992 - Out with Dave8153 on a geocaching jaunt, quick find in the spitting rain. TFTC
15 June 2024This is find number: 9758Streak Day: 3103Found Today with Snoopy1976, a quick and easy find. ThanksThanks to HappyUke for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Added this cache to the list while on the road with ilook4geo. It was a nice quick and easy find and both names were soon added to the log. Thanks for the cache placement go to HappyUke.
Found this cache while heading south with goingplaces2. No problem in locating it and the log was soon signed. TFTC.
The RFS will be burning off in the area next week so I will be removing the containers this weekend. Also, I need to re-route the walk between #9 and #10 to bypass the now private land.
Was so looking forward to spending a good part of the day out here doing this and one other series, and had planned this outing a couple of weeks ago taking advantage of having to drop the missus off up the road a bit for a get together. Things were looking ok, but then good ol Mother Nature had other ideas, and opened up the floodgates . It was raining so hard that I just didnt even bother getting out of the car.damn it!
Find # 10454Nice quick find.No problems find the cache. TFTC HappyUke 25 January 2024
Coordinates changed from:S 34 25.849 E 150 28.421Coordinates changed to:S 34 25.858 E 150 28.431Distance from original: 74.3 feet or 22.6 meters.Just did a maintenance check and yep the cache is missing... again... so moved a new container and log book to a smaller stump closer to the footpath.Happy caching
I had a DNF on 28/Dec/2022 (a year ago this day) when the cache was missing, and now today another DNF . I searched as per the hint; "burnt stump Now at waist height", and then at other heights. I also scraped the base of the stump with a stick. No luck for me. DNF!
Found it.
Enjoyed the bush walk with Robyn60 & andysbs68, thanks for the series.

Day trip to Mittagong with Geospark62. Good weather today. Signed new log sheet. Replaced as found. TFTC
I dug in the base and then looked about for a sneakier hide that could conceal a small sized cache. No luck for me; still a DNF.
Nice bushwalk with dog on a sunny day, to find the nine caches, on the walk. Found 8 of them, but failed at finding the final cache, number 9, climbed right on top, but could not find the cache. The other 8 at the start were trickier than the later ones. Thanks for the great area to explore and find caches. Tftc
Out for a walk with friends. Before I told my son we were close he calls out 'found it'. TFTC
Did this loop before getting into the daily grind. I’ll be back when number two is resurrected but today was a lovely stroll along the trail. Really enjoyed my time out here today with the Hume Highway humming along contrasted against the bush. All caches were found quickly and I really appreciated the 5k steps that I picked up. TFTC
Specifically at cache 1 I picked up the TB to move him on to Darwin next week.

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the NSW Southern Highlands for a short midweek caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Mittagong Caravan Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore the areas around Mittagong, Bowral, Mount Gibraltar, and Box Vale. Hoping to collect a variety of cache types, including some Earthcaches and Wherigos and previously solved Puzzle caches, and to also complete some of the Adventure Labs in the area. This was our 10th find of the day, and 10th find of the holiday.
After our drive down from Sydney, and some roadside finds on arrival at the Mittagong area, we decided to stretch our legs with this Willow Vale bushwalk cache trail. Parked the geomobile on the road near the start of the trail, then headed off along the trail.
This was the first cache we came to, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC HappyUke.

Nice little hide. Container is full of water but the log is a bit damp but still pretty dry! We found this on our way to Canberra while deciding a bushwalk would be a good idea to break up the trip. Thanks for the cache!
We lived up Orient street for many years and this track or the one along the old railway were where our 2 dogs were walked nearly every day. A short stroll up the track today brought us to GZ and the find. Thanks for bringing us back here to a good hide.
Starting off the geoventure with my partner in crime Mizcupcake today nice and early. We're here in the Mittagong area and enjoying the great weather. We came up form the bike track to these ones. This was the 11th find we made and we difnt even need the gps for this one. As we walked through our geosenses took us to the cache. We both signed and replaced and made our way fown the track. TFTC!
Littl3Vix and I have decided to hit up the Southern Highlands for our big geo adventure today. We have a big day planned, Bowral and surrounds is the perfect place for us, many caches and many cache types! Plus, who can forget that its EarthCache weekend? So we left town early, despite my flat battery hitch at Littl3vixs house
Next, we came back up to Willow Vale to try complete a power trail or 2, and this was find number 11. We spied this likely hide before we got the GZ buzz, another quick find. Thank you for the cache HappyUke!

Catching up on logging all my finds since i joined in July. This was an easy find, tftc!
Would have liked to continue with the bushwalk but it was time to return to the car for another commitment. Perhaps another time. A quick find here and cache was in good condition. TFTC HappyUke
A nice quick find.
I originally was intending to head into the bush via the trailhead on Badgery St but a property is in the early stages of being built there and fences now block entry via that route.
I spotted the clue for this one as i was walking up and had no trouble grabbing it.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.

A quick find while passing by. I'll have to bring the mountain bike here and get the rest sometime. TFTC!
Found with sjg66 on our Highlands caching weekend. Thanks to all the CO's who maintain these caches, we had a great time.
Found -- 10:55 pm -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *HappyUke*.
**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.
**The Cache**
Walked right past #1 unawares as my phone was in my pocket, so proceeded to #2. Scratched our names with a charcoal, took some pics as proof of visit and returned cache to its hide'y hole. I didn't have a pen anywhere in the car and hoped there maybe a pencil in the cache - nope. Ok, no worries, With my toothpick still in hand I tried using it as a writing instrument using charcoal from a burnt tree but the toothpick decided to break. I did not prick any pin holes in the paper, promise !! I managed to use a little tiny piece of burnt tree charcoal to scratch good looking initials clearly readable in the cache log.
**The Day**
I went over to Willow Vale to have a cuppa tea with an acquaintance but she was unwell, poor darling. With no cuppa to be had I promptly left and decided to head around the corner and check out *WV Bushwalk #1 and #2. I wasn't considering finding these caches today so was not prepared. I really needed to complete them to gain more gems for ***Mystery at the Museum***. I noticed they appeared easy to do so proceeded on my way with an almost flat phone in hand.

#5304 Found on a stop-off on the way back to Canberra from a quick trip up to Sydney. I figured I could spare about an hour to find caches before I needed to hit the road again and thought this area looked interesting. I loved the walk through the bush alongside the railway, no trains today.
Still had time to head up this trail too.
Thanks HappyUke!

Time to pick up a topaz on this windy, sunny, cold day. This looks like a nice little stroll in the bush.

With the Oz Geomuster in our backyard, Team MavEtJu and I took the opportunity to pick up a few caches before attending the event at the Cataract Scout Park.
What a lovely way to start the morning - bush to ourselves, a fresh morning after rain on the previous day, not too chilly. A very pleasant series, thanks HappyUke.

Driving to Canberra for the Queen’s Birthday long weekend. A beautiful day to be driving around the slow route there and enjoying the sights and caches placed in the countryside by our awesome cache owners. This is great Cache walk In the Willow Valley area. TFTC HappyUke.
Out on a morning of caching with Bonfire7. Thought we would attack this series. Slightly overcast and quite chilly but a perfect day for a stroll. TFTC
Out for a day of caching with nicgal76,we had a few hides within our sights and this series was amongst our list.
After starting an attempt with our own strategy this just lead to a few hickups with all the nearby housing developments, we found it easier to just go back and start from the beginning and finish at the end
Finally underway a quick find happened here, sweet!
Thanks Happyuke for the cache

Having negotiated a 4-day weekend I took the opportunity to head to the highlands for a spot of geocaching. Most of my finds for the day were done on the bike and with such good weather there was no better way to get around.
Did this series on the bike and really enjoyed it. Managed to ride the bike down to #5 and pushed it up from #8 to #9.
Thanks
