I surprise myself as to how quickly this one turned up. Gotta be happy with that. TFTC
With the help of the very prompt help of the CO who took pitty on me seeking this one in the rain.Thank you CO for the help.
Part of the Sandgroper contingent that has come to the Mega to explore new hunting grounds. Its sure to be a great week with many finds and laughs with lots of great friends and maybe some new ones along the way. Thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Logged as WA.

Alert gmj3191 spotted this quickly. This afternoon we are enjoying another enjoyable bike ride. This is a lovely place to sit and contemplate.
Find # 8,784 for me on 1 Apr 2024 at 2:52pm. Our last day in Canberra has arrived so we're looking for the special caches we've heard about, and anything else we come across in our travels. Found with PamJ while riding our bikes around this section of the lake. The cache hide needs some attention as it's only just hanging on. Thanks The Farmers 5, for giving back to the game. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
After finishing up the mega event festivities I C Nothing and I were still up for a spot of caching so talked Lachlan1.77, Leg5 & Barnzy12 into joining us and we made our way back into the city in an attempt to get as many central caches as we could before the end of the weekend and a return to normal life beckons. On a quiet night in Canberra we combined between walking and driving to caches and by the time we returned to our accommodation had managed to collect a tidy sum of 21 finds and starting to rest before an early morning event to kick off Monday. Thanks The Farmers 5 for placing Meditation Garden for me and others to find.I added my name to the log on 31/3/2024.This is find number 8770 for me.
Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. All logs have been signed as WA to save space, abbreviation for our team from Western Australia. Cheers The Farmers 5! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
The Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 3 and we had an absolute blast, after an earlier night last night we got up early to head to Yass and the surrounding areas to cleanup a bunch of caches inparticular whereigos and our personal favourite the challenge caches. We stopped in Yass and completed some high quality caches before venturing back to the trails. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. Logs signed as part of team WA/WAC (WA Crew)
Nice quick find in a sneakily obvious spot! The speed of this find was a positive as I wasn't certain my car was parked entirely legally! TFTC!
This was a quick find on a quiet Tuesday morning. Im sure this quaint park can get busy during weekends. Tftc
It took all four of us, and finally we were giving up till it appeared there unannounced. Unfortunately no pen, so took photo

Funny. First place I looked, but not close enough. Nice hide.

#1694 I managed to turn this into a tricky find. Checked so many places over a five odd metre radius before checking probably the first place I looked on arrival. Thanks Farmers 5!
The geopup loves running after bunnies even if she never catches any. This is her favourite part of the lake to run around.
This was a surprisingly fast find. It is a winder that it does not get muggled. TFTH

Found on a short but lovely morning of virtual and lab caching. After finishing the virtual and labs I came for this traditional before heading home (since I felt like having more of a rest at home on my day off). I came here a while back but had no luck, but today it was an immediate find. Interesting! TFTC TF5!
After a little search cache was located, signed and placed as found.

A surprising find in quite a peaceful spot. I suppose if you empty your mind you could consider the traffic noise to be water flowing. Anyway, TFTC!
A cute little hide in an unusual little garden. Good to be back out mid week caching with onieferret, K8TYBEE, and GLISS! once again. Thanks for the cache
Found quickly with Nibletricecakes, k8tybee and onieferet on an evening finding caches around Russell. TFTC.
A small break in the rain allowed GLISS, K8TYBEE, Nibletricecakes a chance to go caching. Great quick find for Nibletricecakes .
Thank you

Was on a run next to the lake and wanted to avenge this DNF (Not sure where my log went?). I spent ages trying to get this one last time but this time it went like this:
Arrive at GZ and spend a minute overturning rocks, jokingly said,
"What if the cache was here lol"
And it was :O
Current placement seems a bit easier, how do muggles not find this??

Few people sitting around GZ so had to wait a bit to jump in and start the search. Quick find, TFTC.
A very interesting location. And so much love and care in this new garden. Pitty the rabbits are not so careful. About 15 minutes of searching but returned to the original location I suspected. A more thorough search showing the goodies. Clever!
Thanks for the cache

Sixth of 14 finds on a morning walk through the wetlands and around the lake. There are a lot of places this cache could have been hidden but luckily zita found it after not too long. This is a beautiful spot which we had to ourselves this morning. TNLNSL TFTC

Now that I have solved this cache I can appreciate the relaxation properties of this garden.
Long weekend caching, when parking around here is easier! This was a straightforward find at GZ, would have been quicker had I not assessed and disregarded the clever hiding spot initially. Back for a second look and soon had the sneaky cache in hand.
The garden could do with some work! A great hide, and another Canberran place I hadn’t been previously. Thanks, TF5!

On a Sunday ride around fhe lake we stopped at the meditation garden. It should be a lovely, contemplative place, but it is a bit sadly neglected, in need of some gardening tlc. We found the cache after a bit of a search, a clever, sneaky little hide, utilising an interesting container. TFTC TF5
Found the cache slightly off coordinates, but still a quick find. Considering the make of the cache it wasn't where it was supposed to be, so I utilised its features and hid it a few cm away, so meditating muggles wouldn't discard of it.
Thanks for bringing me to this interesting place. TFTC

Riding with Jondub around the wetlands and Kingston foreshore. Clever hiding spot! TFTC
I dropped my partner at a concert that I couldn't attend due to asthma and hay fever issues. While I was waiting, I decided that a cache or two was in order. This one turned out to be a nice easy find just before dusk. Very cunning hide though. Well done, have a favourite point. TFTC
I only had my phone with me today and so wasn't all that confident of getting any degree of accuracy. However it all came together nicely and I managed to locate the cache in quick time. Sandsoap and I were quite impressed with the garden area. TFTC
Coords were way off for us today but after reading the past logs we realised it had to be near the main focus of the park somewhere. A bit of a hunt expanding out from there and we spotted it. TFTC
# 6239 I decided to do a great circuit of LBG today, primarily to complete mtbikeroz's adventure lab and to find a few extra caches along the way. In the spirit of mtbikeroz's cache, I was on my bike today and parked out at the Jerrabomberra wetlands. I managed to find quite a few before disaster hit with my phone battery packing it in just after half way into the adventure lab. Oh well, still not a bad afternoon effort.
I actually found this one after my phone had died. It is a previous DNF, but I thought I'd give it a go. Great to convert it to a find. Very tricky.
Thanks The Farmers 5

Sneaky hide. Fortunately I didn't take long to spot it, but until I poked at it, I wasn't sure, as it blends in well. It was tricky to extract. No one was about here today, so that made this all easier. A lovely day for a cycle ride and finding a couple of caches.

Quickly spotted- nice hide. Beautiful afternoon to be walking around the gardens. Tftc
Took a while to track it down. Contemplate the infinite and enlightenment will come.
Today was a perfect Sunday, so, after a picnic in the park, we collected the Geohound and set off to see a part of Canberra we had never cached in before, and, we saw fabulous views, lots of history, weird art, the lake, and plenty of people out enjoying the fine weather.
After doing Mt Pleasant, and the Duntroon Diary, we headed across moreshead drive to the lake side, and grabbed the three caches there.
So, it didn't look to challenging, we wandered up, poked around, found nothing, checked the gps, found it was pointing in a different direction now, tried again, and repeat for about 15 minutes.
Eventually, felling despondent, meditating on being a numpty geocacher - everyone else found it - how come I'm going to be the only one to log a DNF? - my meditations paid off ( and I've got a few puns here which I can't use, or the CO will have to delete my log for giving away clues) - but, I found it
The log was signed, the cache was replaced, and all is in good order.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache The Farmers 5 - it was a really tricky one, but you gave me a huge sense of satisfaction when I eventually found it.

Well I stopped briefly as it was on the way back to the car and soon it was found what a sneaky hide TFTc. First in new log.
Just out for a trip the day before head home before school over, quick found TFTC Farmers5
Grabbed a LRV and a bus, then played frogger with some traffic to get to this cache. Defs never wanna cross *that* road in peak hour ever again.
At the geocache zone, I spent several minutes looking around before letting cache senses take over from my focus on what the GPSr was telling me. That helped me avoid another ignominious DNF. I experience far too many of those, espesh with Farmers5 caches!

I pulled up in the nearby carpark and headed straight to locate this cache. Given the very chilly temp, I was surprised (and a little annoyed) to find a couple of folk loitering around the garden. I stayed at a distance to see if they were hunting the cache also, but sadly not the case.
I headed off to find the other nearby cache, then returned to find the same muggles still chatting. Grr. I wasn't prepared to stand in the cold, so I left this for another visit to Canberra.

I was originally planning on doing some magnet fishing down by the lake but the icy wind stopped that idea quickly. Instead decided to do some quick caching. Decided to have a go at this one. After expanding my initial search, I looked more closely at something. Bingo! And it wasn’t a decoy. Blends in very well and with some work, had the log signed.
A not so quick find this morning. My GPS had me in a slightly different place. I expanded my search area and had this one found. TFTC
I poked around a few places and then got lucky.... I have spent way too much time looking for Farmers 5 tricky caches to not appreciate a nice quick one!
Decided last minute to extend the mega adventure for another day! Had a good night sleep after a massive day yesterday. Today pleasure was first, did a lot of caches around Burley Griffin to make up the time to the flashmob event. A real smacker of a clear morning made for excellent caching. Thanks for putting all these caches out.

Miz Wacket, steelpaw are visiting for the Mega event in Queanbeyan. The Ridgeopup and I took them for a tour of the lakeside caches on a perfect Canberra Autumn day.
Well this took a bit of hunting and we all agreed that we all really liked this hide.
The RP chased a rabbit out of the gardens and for a little while we weren't sure she was going to come back.
Thanks for the cache The Farmers 5

Found this very clever hide with Miz Wacket and Zimba W after quite a look around the garden.
After we went shopping today, we came to this lovely garden with my Aunty and Uncle (Domsky).
I thought the cache might be right here, and I was right!!
We signed it.

I can't remember exactly what was said when we found this cache but I know The Farmers 5 were elevated to a swearing level of sneakiness. Awesome hide, have a fav from us! TFTC The %#@*(*! Farmers 5.
Decided it was about time I come and find this Farmers 5 cache that has been taunting me on the map for much too long now! Getting in before the mega seemed like a good idea!
I was expecting a long find here, considering the D rating, the location it brought me and the knowledge I have of your hides! However I counted myself very lucky today and found it in the second spot I looked [:o]
Well done, a great little hide that blends in perfectly and using the space at GZ wisely.
Thanks!

My second attempt at this one with JohnnyBoyACT. Last time spent 20 minutes with the missus before giving up, to-day however found within a minute or so. That was a sneaky hide. TFTC.
Always wise to cache with a cacher who has millions more finds than yourself. Out with Marmaduke Rothschild who didn't waste much time at all on his second attempt at this one. Yes, a sneaky hide. TFTC.
