Found It!Nice spot for a cache. I ended up approaching this one from the east (by going through the tunnel!) and then spent far too long searching on the wrong side of the creek. Once I finally moved over to the other side, I soon found the cache!TFTC
Really liked the lizard, a little rusty though. Neat little spot. We took a longer way to view the graffiti, however, ended up having to bush bash a lot to get back to the road. Tunnel was awesome. Found a missing trackable in the cache, will move it on.
Ventured over to the Northern Suburbs today with morty8888 to grab a few caches and more importantly a catch up.A nice walk down to the creek where morty8888 soon spotted a lizard. Glad the weather was a bit cooler today for the walk back to the car.TFTC Rama497.
A day out caching with Oldmorty up the North Shore. Not too hot, cloudy and a great day was had. We made our way along the fire trail and then took a left towards the noisy M1. Spied some very colourful graffiti and soon spied the clever hide. Signed and returned ready for the next reptile. TFTC!
What's under the M1? Moccona and Bref! Cool cache.. found it while walking the pooches TFTC
Me and grace perring went for shine under beautiful tunnel and found hidden little lizard. took us a while we determined little people. let’s trot
I have built a new cache container and have replaced the contents with new items.
The cache is now back in place ready for the next finder to find this new container and log book.

I am still trying to locate a replacement container for this one.
I hope to have this back in play soon.

Dorketeers and friends found this one (but will have to come back for the one opposite another time.) Banana smoothie
This one isn't that far from home and I really should have got around to it earlier. I have been down here before and through the tunnel to get the cache on the other side. Very interesting acoustics in there, definitely worth going in if you haven't before. Spotted the cache from about 10 metres away so a nice easy find. Thanks Rama497.
I'm writing this log while my foot is covered in mud trying to cross the river right next to the cache
It was a really enjoyable walk with a friend who had found the cache by accident before and sent me a photo of it, so today was the day to come and claim the find

I went for a walk and I checked on this one.
It had crept from its original spot so I placed it back.
The cache is all good and ready for the next finder.

What a fun cache to find, and such a unique location. A fave point from me. Parked up in Dudley St, as per instructions. Found the trail head, as per instructions. Found the cache as per instructions. Yay. Grabbed the TB, signed the log and left a gift for the next finder. Awesome container!
We were doing another cache close by and went to inspect the tunnel. Wondered through and just checked if there were any caches close by and it turns out there was on 20 feet away!
Loved the camo and the journey!
Fav point for us.
Thanks for the cache.

Found this one after a lovely walk starting on Gibberabong track on Wahroonga. Thanks.
I'm surprised it doesn’t get muggled! An easy find as the traffic whoosed overhead.
I had always wanted to find this tunnel even though I was so close when I picked up another cache in the vicinity. Nicely done! TFTC.
Oh, and I took a leech home, connected to my left leg. So I found out 4 hours later!
Now that was a pleasant walk. Geocache easily spotted however one of her wings seems to have gone sadly. Log in great condition as was the cache, and signing duties completed. The graffiti fits down here and is doing no harm. I thank you for the effort that has obviously been made to make this interesting cache. Well worth a visit.
Didn't find it today, was a bit dark and the ground quite wet. With small ones in tow didn't want to deal with leeches and the like so we gave up; will come back another time.
Staying local and out for a little bit of an explore for my days allowance of exercise. Parked and headed to the well know tunnel of doom but of course did not have to go through but couldn't resist. The cache was easily spotted once close with its nice bit of camo. The signing duties where completed and the log put back in the cache. TFTC
Out today doing my bit for social distancing #covid-19. Saw this one pop up on my way back from a cache on the other side. Ahh why not. TFTC, Rama497.

Have been here a few times getting through to the other side. Quick find today. Cool. Container, thanks for placing.
After a long trek down a water logged track and then a walk through non track, we got to GZ.
The Garmin in the overcast and tree covered location showed 10 metres error.
Regardless a marvelous cache reveled itself.
We praised the geo gods and signed the log.
We took nothing and left nothing other than a favourite point.
Thanks for the cache

Cute cache! Interesting for the kids to see the water gate setup after flooding in the area.
Today I was on a bit of a mission to pick up several caches in the Asquith / Hornsby area. I had decided to cycle out that way, ending up doing about 42 km in the process. It wasn't a very long ride in the bigger scheme of things, but I did spend the whole day with cycling and caching, which was a great way to use my weekend.
At first I was on the wrong side of the river, and then I headed off to pick up a different cache on the other side of the highway. But I knew I was going to come after this one on the way back, and I still had a loop to walk to get back to where I had left my bicycle. Had I paid more attention to things this day, I could probably have done a bit more cycling and a bit less walking. But either was enjoyable, so no worries there.
Finally, it was time to search out this one. Hah, what a fun way of hiding a cache. I loved the design. Not difficult to find, and having a GPSr helps, obviously. So I added my mark and returned things as found. Then I looked at the track and decided to head out that way, even though I didn't actually have a clue where it went. I had entered from a different way, and this was all an adventure to me.

Really enjoyed the walk down here and a nice container kept as per hint. I did actually have a peek in the tunnel but nah, SL returned up the hill. Nice to see the early change of season flowers, thanks for the hide Rama497
I completed a Cache check today.

Nice handiwork. Do I detect some familial influence? I do hope the passing muggles leave it alone - this is a known route to the other side. Thanks Rama497.
You’ve done a great job with this one! Great location, great cache! I’ve been visiting friends at Chelmsford Rd for years and never knew there was a fire trail at a stone’s throw!!! Geocaching takes me to places I’ve never been before! TftC!!!
We needed a calendar find for today and this cache fit the bill perfectly. We were not disappointed by a well constructed hide in a very interesting spot.

I followed the tracks as per the instructions down to the tunnel entrance and found the cache without any trouble. What a great container! A fav point for that. Then I walked through the tunnel to have a look at the other side before returning to the car. It's a lot longer than I would have expected.
Mrsmith00 and I targeted this and Asquith adventure this morning.
A pleasant walk though the bush as we looked for the track.
We tried a couple of different ways, to no avail, before we found the “track” at the end of the track.
Made it to the quite tranquil GZ and fairly quickly made the find.
Very nice container construction.

Tftc, Azzepious needed a cache for his streak and was heading to my place, so I told him to meet me in Asquith for a few fun caches. We parked and headed down the fire trail til we got to the end, before finding the new path to take us to GZ. A quick find at the end. What's through the tunnel....
An afternoon off calls for a bit of cache hunting. This has been on my list for a while. This cache took me to an interesting location. Thank you. Cool container too. .
What I thought was going to be an easy pick took a bit longer walk. Interesting place to visit with some nice art work on the walls.
The cache container is great and fits in well with it's surroundings. #3 for the day.

Found with YGAT, who needed a calendar find, on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. It's an interesting spot and a beautifully presented container.
Thanks Rama497, it deserves a favourite.

We enjoyed the stroll in along the fire trail and somehow fluked the turn-off to GZ where the well constructed cache was soon found. I loved the bug. SL TFTC

It was drizzling as I approached the fire trail but I was confident that the creek wouldn’t be too high.
GZ was really pretty in the wet and the water looked so clear.
I have no idea how you found this place though !!!
A great cache was soon spotted and I jogged back to the road where I removed four leeches (yuck)- of course, I should have expected that given the weather and the terrain lol
Have a fav pint for a cute container and a great location

Great location, not exactly where we were expecting. Found with JJ and EJ.
Ducked out this morning to make this find with a quick walk in bushland and the cicadas already hitting a crescendo. A really lovely container. TFTC.

Went out around lunchtime for a few finds.
Decided to start at this new placement.
Parked at the specified spot and started down the fire trail. Picked the right track to take and got to within 30 metres of GZ before a light bush bash was necessary.
Got to the creek and spotted the tunnel with its graffito. I wonder if you can access *An Asquith Adventure* this way? It's barely 200 metres away. Decided not to check - I've already grabbed that cache anyway - but I do remember a feature I saw on the other side of the M1 that could connect up (if you're very, very careful). Or maybe not!
Back to this one. Got to 2 metres and couldn't see anything likely. Started moving in another direction when something caught my eye. Oh, there it is. And the coordinates are pretty good.
Made the grab, completed signing duties and then back for the replace. Was sweating more than I expected when I got back to the car - I blame the humidity.
For the adventure, the speculation and the cache camo a favourite from me.

What's under the M1? Bugs are under the M1.
This is my second attempt at this cache. I was in the area when it was published, checked google maps for where to park, where the trailhead was located and approximately where and how far to walk. So I set off walking along the track hopeful of FTF and reached a spot where I thought I should be heading towards that awful noise and checked the GPS.
No!!!!!!!
Technician error, I had not loaded the cache correctly onto the GPS so I was now wandering around in the bush looking for.......well who knows what?
I spent about 10 minutes meandering around with no luck so abandoned the hunt.
Today I'm back!
Followed the track then a sort of off track and a bit of a scramble, and there it was!
Signed the logbook and took the TB to move along. I took a direct bush bash line back to the main trail, so close to where I had been last time!

On our way back to the Central Coast, we detoured along the Pacific Highway and called in here mid afternoon. After an interesting walk behind houses we reached a slightly rougher track so MrsFish waited while I headed down to GZ, which was not far away and soon reached without any trouble. I spotted the cache from some distance and logged, wary of any possible local fauna with the creek so close. Walking back to the main track, I saw a wriggling tail disappear under a rock, which may have been a larger lizard, or maybe not. Thanks Rama497 for the cache, we enjoyed the short walk and great fun hide.

Weather: Hot summer afternoon
Cache condition: Good
I had just finished the bulk of the Christmas shopping, so decided I needed a cache to recover. I drove up from Hornsby Westfield and was soon at the parking waypoint. The path was easy to find, although closer to GZ I wasn't totally sure I was on the _right_ path, having to go down a "drain" for the last bit. Anyway, it all worked, and I quickly spotted the camo - cute! TNLNSL, then headed back to my car. TFTC

I went on a geo-adventure with my Poppy, Calypso62, PrincessSmurfette, Tj_Awsome and the CO, Rama 497. It ewas an easy walk down and I really loved seeing the tunnel. I looked around but didn't see the cache at first. C62 said I should look that way and I saw something that turned out to be the cache. I swapped some treasure the after it was put back, we went to explore the tunnel. That geo-adventure was a lot of fun. Thanks for hiding this one Rama497.
I really enjoyed our geo-adventure to find this cache. I loved the cache guardian too!! I swapped some treasure too! It was fun exploring the nearby tunnel even if I did get wet splashing in the water!!! Thank you Rama497 for hiding this one for me to find.
Went with the Grandkids and Tj_Awsome and the CO on a treasure hunt while enjoying a family gathering nearby. I dropped off two TBs to travel on.

Woohoo!!!! Second To Find!
I was only about a kilometre away when this one was published but unfortunately, I was helping Smurfyguy put up some Christmas light decorations and couldn't get away. I came this morning to check out this new hide and invited the CO along for the fun. Well, he is my nephew!
I had never been down to this area however I knew of the tunnel. Arriving close to GZ, my GPSr was pointing across the creek but, having read the description and with a little prompting from the CO, I knew not to cross. I looked around but initially nothing presented itself. I began to move to an area when something startled me... it was the cache!! Nicely done on this one Rama497. The log was signed and the TB taken to continue its journey. I really like the information on the cache page about the M1 and the presentation of the cache is excellent. I love something a bit out of the ordinary. All this deserves a favourite so adding mine.
Cheers, Calypso62
PS - It bugged me I didn't get the FTF!! (lol)

We needed to make some finds towards the Social Butterfly souvenir, having done very little caching so far this November, and so headed up to the Hornsby area to check out some new Traditionals, finish off a previously started Multi, and visit the GZ of a solved Mystery cache. This was the 3rd of 5 finds for the day.
We didn't realise just how new this one was until we turned up at the suggested parking location (had written down the coords to enter into the car's GPSr) only to find that our Garmin's GPX file upload missed out on this one when it was updated last week. And with no mobile phone of any type we had no way of getting the GZ coords, so headed off to do other caches in the area, not expecting to do this one today.
But, after finishing off the Hornsby Urban Art Multi, we were driving through the Hornsby shopping precinct and noticed there was free WiFi available. So we fired up our ipod and downloaded the cache details, then headed back to the parking coordinates and parked the geomobile.
We then set off down the track and soon arrived at GZ for a quick find of the nicely presented cache container - very cute. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. The colourful tunnel near GZ was also an interesting sight. TFTC Rama497.

Today was one of those occasional days that had me working at St Leonards. So it was an excruciating wait for the workday to end and catch the train home wondering if this cache would remain unfound. To make matters more interesting, I got totally drenched running home from the train station. But no time to waste when there is a cache to be found. Quickly changed into some dry clothes and grabbed the raincoat as I sprinted straight back out the door.
Being quite familiar with the area, I knew where to park without referring to the map. However, I was surprised that I had never been down this trail before. The rain had eased and was now only a sprinkle as I approached GZ where I was expecting a bit more water to be flowing. Was able to catch the critter without any resistance and etched my name into the blank log book. Grabbed one of the TBs before heading home.
Thanks for placing a cache here Rama497 and bringing me to an interesting new spot within an area I thought I knew. Definitely have to return to explore some more...
