Logs
I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi Ben_The_XVII
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

It's either not there or buried under a lot of plants. I was there for 1hr and 30mins and it kept moving
I went to look for this cache today and saw that bush bashing would be required to claim it. I then realized that there are 6 DNFs on it, so didn't even bother looking. When I got home I checked up and the CO hasn't cached for several years so I'm guessing that there will be no maintenance here, and the last person to find this cache over seven months ago stated indirectly that maintenance was required. I think that this cache probably needs to be archived....
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Lots of cut down brush. Couldn't find among the debris. Better luck next time.
No luck. Was a bit much for me and my 2 year old. Should have read the logs for proper cords.
Don’t typically make negative comments, but this cache is bad.
Found the cache, see attached pic.
Log book needs replacing (it’s mush), co-ords are off, nothing interesting at GZ, which was only achieved via a bit of a bush bash (with two younger kids in jandals in summer was just manageable).

No luck for us today. Used the co-ords from other logs but only had phone gps on this walk so maybe just not accurate enough. Resorted to the hint but that didn't help at all!! There was quite a lot of rubbish in the area and from the previous logs I wasn't sure I'd be able to sign even if I did find it. Another day perhaps...
Bit of bush bashing with the grand kids, but they have sharp eyes! Too wet to sign, but tftc.
Found while on a trip north with tmann421.
Enjoying discovering the areas and finding some caches.
Signed the log tm/wwNZ

Nice find with woolwood9 on a bit of a geocaching trip away.
This was quite a mission but reading other logs we were soon enough onto it.
Log is wet - co-ords and container need some help.

Quick park and grab on our way north for the day not to sure where we are going but we will get there sooner or later. Nice quick find here using McClutchen Clans coordinates.

having been here once before i knew what i needed to find this cache, today i had that extra part, tftc
My wife and daughter were out of town so I jammed the boys into the car for a raid on the Waikato! This cache was a neat little adventure and gz was fairly straight forward however we had no luck at the listed coords. Upon searching through the previous logs we came across one by Chemrox whose coords were spot on. We noted a rather large wasp nest leading into a dead austroderia stump (cutting glass) so we encouraged them to move along by means of a large stick I picked up. From that moment it was a speedy trip up the bank and back to the car. Cheers Ben, TFTC
very wet but replaced
with the help of the last log we could find the cache
original coords are very very wrong

Coordinates were out by quite some distance. Correct Coordinates are:
s37 44.721 e175 16.062
Found evidence of old hut.
Log quite damp and could do with replacing.

I think i found it?? it was a grey kinda bag but couldn’t see a way to get in just left where i found it.
Looked for quite some time! Widening and reading the logs soon had the cache in hand. Paper quite wet...TFTC
Second time here...Really pleased to find it safely tucked away today .
Bit wet ...but was on a mission !

From the description, I expected this to be far worse than it was. The main difficulty was choosing the correct path to deal with the river and Waiere Drive. My first attempt gave me a route to Secret Park. Second attempt brought me here. Quick find due to MCC's co-ordinates. Log is already starting to mildew though. TFTC.
Still needing a few more finds to get me close to an upcoming milestone, so time to grab a few of the new caches around home. Headed out this afternoon to grab some, but only managed a handful as ran out of light.
Needed the co-ords from MCC to be able to find this one. Thanks for the hide.

Thanks to the revised coordinates and a geopath or 2 to follow tis wasn't too hard...the biggest challenge was avoiding the cutty grass on the way down. Tftc
Find number 4552. Finally I had time to look for this one. After entering the gully I followed the trails. Read the hint and looked at options. Thankfully one of these proved correct. Signed and made my way out. Thank you for the placement.
Out on a rather wet day doing some caches. Had to be careful as the area was very slippery. No luck to start then I read some previous logs and thanks to mccutchan for the updated coords TFTC
Took a bit of bashing around but finally found likely hint item and still took quite a bit of hunting before finally locating cache on the ground, replaced as per the hint.

Grabbed this today following the Armistice Day Service.
Took the advice from Mr McC on the appropriate coordinates and soon the cache was in hand. Had the park all to ourselves
Thanks for the cache

With 4 pairs of eyes looking for this one, thought it would be a quick find. No luck so widened search area until we found it. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap), ABCDF4, and eyespyben... No sleep-in this morning... Had to get up super early to make it to an event.
For the next several caches, we joined forces with our Huntly friends... We arrived in glorious sunlight and headed in a straightline for ground zone. The given coordinates were quite fixed, and the iPhone gps did swing around as much as it usually does. The well trampled area indicated that we were on target, but nothing seemed to match any of the hints... Still, the area warranted a search...
Mrs ABCDF4 gave a triumphant shout out when she located the cache a further 12 metres off. Yes, this area definitely matched the given hints... TFTC.

after a DNF earlier on and a meet up at an event we got some inside information on where to look, co-ords were way off for use.
Nice hide
Bit of a Bush Bashing
But Squirrel Nutcase,Fap &Gap,Eyespyben were off as there was a DNF on it
But it was sitting right there

Took a bit of Bush bashing to get to this one. My note says gz was 19 mtrs away. But looking for nearby tree is the answer
As always my phone was all but flat when the notification came through so I grabbed my battery pack, phone cord, GPS and a torch and yelled at my wife to text me the cords as I flew out the door. Got to the park and put the cords into my GPS (thanks Mrs Walker!) and headed across the park to the tree line where my phone immediately died. Phew. Straight lined it down the in places steep bank with all the grace of a Rhino and wandered around GZ looking perplexed. Expanded my search and found the cache about 10-15m from GZ on the ground. Checked the log and was stoked to see it blank but then realized I had managed to lose my pen during the search. So back up the bank to the car I went where I grabbed another pen and then returned to sign the log. I nested the container in the tree I think it fell from. Shame its a micro I reckon you could hide a Volkswagon beetle down here and not have it found for years. Never the less great to have another local hide and of course a {FTF}! Thanks Ben_The_XVII. Now imagine a middle aged overweight man doing the crash bandicoot level victory dance followed by 'the floss' and a dab.
