Walking up directly from the Frederick Henry Bay Views cache, on a day following a couple of days of rain was completely daft! The track up was unbelievably slippery and almost impossible to navigate Thick gluey mud on the shoes added to the fun Once up there it was a quick find at GZ. Slight dampness to the log, but still signable TFTC
You are correct, the view is spectacular. Pity about the subdivision being carved into the side of the hill. Enjoy it while it lasts. TFTC
After the steep climb from Seven Mile Beach to the top of Single Hill it was a pleasure to ramble down to the cache. Glorious day.
A very steep walk getting up here, but a beautiful spot, we come up here to look at auroras sometimes. Couldn't quite see our house but we knew it was around somewhere in the great expanse of hills. Cache was very wet, and everything inside was a bit gunky - we cleaned it all as best we could, but this one may need some owner attention, and a more water-tight container at some point. Log was dry in plastic bag, and has now been signed. TFTC!
Found today while out caching with Zozetta. We began the day at Lauderdale where we did ‘The Path To Madness’ series, then we went to Single Hill where we found four and then went back to Lauderdale to get a multi and a couple of traditionals, although one of those was a DNF. We found seven traditionals and two multis ending up with nine finds and two DNFs. A fun day out with many quality caches found.
A quick find here. Great views from GZ.
Thanks for the cache Lil Rafa!

By the time I got to this one on my run tonight the rain was coming in hard. I got buffeted by winds exposed on the top of this hill! Temperatures down to 2 degrees. Sleeting rain! Adventure? You bet. Maybe I should come back and enjoy the view another time
A lovely walk this morning and plenty of great views along the way. TFTC!

Pitty there is not a way from here on to the top of the hill and down the other side
A nice walk for a nice view.
Pity i couldnt proceed to the next hill due to private property.
Anyway, drizzle starting to set in.
This cache helps my 'found date' and 'hidden date' and '1000 finds' 2020 objectives.

Lol, i have minced my words in a sentence just like this too, i was so unaware i did it but my mate let me know ha ha.
On my way to 7 Mile Beach to cache for the day i rode the Deadly Treadly along Kirra road 'up' to the trail entrance. That's when the 'Up'ness began. Pushing my bike up to GZ was challenging but it was done and calories were smashed before my day really got underway.
The view up here is to die for and i nearly did pushing my wheels up the hill ha ha.

Having found Frederick Henry Bay, this one only 400m away seemed like a good continuation of our walk - until we started the uphill climb of course! Anyway, with a couple of breaks to take in the scenery and get our breath back we soon had it in hand. TFTC
Hello Lil Rafa thank you for the cache.
EeePees and I were on a boy's night out , and I had suggested we find some caches in the Seven Mile Beach, Roches Beach area. It was nice to have you come along for the walk.
To save a bit of time I left the others and walked straight up the hill to find this one.
A nice quick easy find.

well you sure treated us to a very nice view after we slogged up the hill for the first cache of the day, Thanks for a great little cache.
Out with the goose today so we can get all the gems we need to move on with this mystery game thingamabob, we were thinking we would have to make a trip North after discovering all the new caches on the East coast were useless detectives but with a bit of planning we managed to get all we needed around home, yeah it took us all day to find just 16 caches and we had to use up some of our 'saved for a rainy day' caches.

I didn't think I had a chance of finding all the jewels for the Mystery at the Museum game, but it turned out with a bit of careful planning it was possible. Stainless steel rat and I worked out a list that satisfied both our requirements, after the usual Saturday morning takeaway coffee we started on our strategically planned route.
This was the first cache of the day, we decided to get the slog out of the way first! We huffed and puffed as we climbed up, it's a good thing the pigs hadn't built their houses here otherwise we would have blown them over The wallabys certainly wondered what was happening and all stared at us as we passed. It was cold up on the hill but the views made up for it and we took a moment to soak it up. We went a little too far and had to back track just slightly to find the cache.
Thanks Lil Rafa for my 200th find this month (my biggest month so far).

April Fool's Day - what a great introduction to caching on Tasmania's South Arm. Brilliant views brought to us by geocaching.
Grabbed quattro #2 - Yang - Geocoin 2006 (TB31PEC) to move on.
Thanks to 'Lil Rafa' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Well Lil Rafa after a couple of wanders already this morning I decided on the shorter approach to GZ around 450m straight up the hill. After I stopped panting GZ was found easily and I sat down to log and enjoyed a terrific 180 degree view magnificient. Thanks so much for placing this cache here. All good at the hide.
Found while on a walk on the area. A quick find once in the area; good coordinates. Thanks.
Whilst Mrs y'stassie took the Roaches Beach track to Seven Mile Beach, the other half of the team set off to look for this cache. The shorter but steeper option was taken. Although it was getting much warmer a cool breeze emerged as Mr y'stassie neared the top. The smoke haze restricted the view but it certainly is a great vantage point. Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache.
It was a nice, but warm, walk up the hill. A dog started to escort me on the other side of the fence. It seem to take offence once I rounded the turn, and barked at me until I cleared the fence.
The cache was found quickly.
The return was a little less strenuous, and the dog escorted me again, but silently.

Found on a caching trip to Hobart - enjoyed the walk in this area.
An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found this one with the bloopy kids. A lot of up for them but the views made it all worthwhile. Especially because we could see our house which they both loved. Cheers!
Hi Lil Rafa
After my extended walk yesterday, I got to the trail head and hesitated
BUT, it didn't take too long to get to GZ
The find was simple and quick
Sainted the cache at 1205 hours and then enjoyed the great views

Well if there is an easy path to walk to this cache (and I know there is) but I decided to take the hard straight road. Picking my way through clear patches after seeing a couple of snakes a few days ago I made my way to the cache
Was greeted by great views all around. A special place that deserves this cache. Favourite given

**FTF** 7am.
Was woken this morning to "there's a new cache near Roche's Beach". Pleasant morning and with the thought that others may be heading out towards the west coast decided to head out.
Found the entrance to the steep option and made good time to the top. Within 5mts of GZ thought that the coords must be off because there was nothing obvious other than open grass!!!! A pause and a closer look to locate a nice low hide and the cache with very accurate coords. Delighted with the FTF and then time to take in the magnificent views - wow! A great morning for this walk. Took the return a little too casually and had to deviate towards the end otherwise would have finished well off the parking spot.
TFTC and a favourite for the views.
