A nifty little hide with a nice parking spot where we could quickly eat our lunch.TFTC
I was surprised and pleased to find this tricky cache. Going by previous logs I didnt have much hope. As it turned out I went straight to it, but didnt see it! Ill put that down to needing cataract surgery soon. The_EVIL_MUGGLE had a closer look and found it! Great hide, worthy of a favourite point.
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk Caches Found: 13033First To Find: 149Sidetracked Cache Finds: 117I finally attempted the Winston Wander series that I had heard so much about, and it did not disappoint. I loved the variety of different containers and camouflage methods used. Most of the GZs were deserted due to the school holidays, but there were still a few muggles to deal with. Thanks to SKI Pair for a great day of caching fun!"Any day caching is a great day, but even better when the Co is a good friend.Haven't seen this item used to hide a log like this before.
15:43Heading toward Traralgon after a day among the "challenging" caches in the south. We had to smile at the political connection of names around here. FP awarded for a clever and novel placement. Suggest the Attribute 'Special Tool Required' would be appropriate. Thanks to SKI Pair for a sneaky cache. 35807
You sneaky sneakster, on a midweek getaway we stopped to grab this cache alas we started at the usual search spots when I stopped to reflect and there it was, tricky tricky tricky a favourite for us, thanks for placing this cache
Visiting Churchill for caching day. Found it and very good hide. Thanks SKI Pair for placing this cache
Fabulous! Even better I got to meet Fred and discuss geocaching adventures and the dread of this Friday. Well done SKI Pair!
Checked this one this morning on our way to Rebel’s event in Warragul. It’s still there.
Can this cache be checked please I’ve been waiting to see if another cacher to have a go at it but no visitors in a long time - thanks skipair
Nice one. First find for the year. Been living in Churchill for years and thought it was about time we cleared some of these up. TFTC!
Don’t think this needs to be 3 1/2 difficulty unless it’s not where it’s supposed to be, took less than 20 seconds to find it.
Thank you for the cache
Thank you for the cache
This was found within less than 10 seconds, was right in full view? Maybe it was not put back correctly however it does not fit in its hidey spot
Awesome find, anyone looking for it should bring tott to extract it from it's location.
Such a good find! Could have kept looking in the wrong spot and never found it but I spotted it quite quick!! Unexpected but great spot TFTC
At a job in Traralgon and knew I would be finished at 1pm so I asked my niece if she wanted to go Geocaching as we haven’t done any caches since COVID started back in March.
Quick find stamped log thanks for the cache.

With a break in the lockdown we were able to get out and repair and replace this one.
All good to go.

Found at the first look when arriving at the cache, unfortunately did not have an item to extract the item this time. TFTC anyway
We are enjoying a long awaited caching weekend away. Our research suggest there were some pretty good caches down this way. Today the plan was to hit up Churchill. This one took two goes as first visit nearby house was having its lawns mowed. On return all quiet and the devious cache was quickly found. A fav. Good use of rite as rain paper too. GeoD had the honours for this one. Tftc
A quick find on a somewhat chilly afternoon. The sun peaking through the clouds have created a beautiful rainbow on the nearby countryside. The cache was in good condition , though a little damp, something common in this area I dare say. A nice little twist. Tftc
Woo hoo tricky find didn't look at all dodgy. First for the 7 day streak award. Tftc
Grabbed this cache before the wind and rain arrived.

Took the drive to Churchill today to see if we could lessen the number of unfound caches we had there. After 3 hours, we had put a big dent in the numbers and converted them to smiley faces. Not one DNF today from all we found, which we're happy with.
Gotta love this cache - a favourite here for sure.
Thanks to the CO for this placement.

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
I’m currently working on a Project-GC challenge to get the average word count on my logs over 200 words.
So please ignore the rest of this log as it is just nonsense and song lyrics.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy

Thanks

Catching up with some very late logs
We had set aside a few days to explore Gippsland with alansee endeavoring to aid him reaching 30,000 finds before the Queanbeyan mega event at Easter.
We visited rail trails, parks, mountains seeing beautiful scenery along the way as well as enjoying some lovely walks as well as some easy drive by's. The weather was mostly kind to us enabling us to search for the caches in comfort.
We wondered what was in store for us with a difficulty3.5 and we aren't going to give anything away but we can say that we were lucky and didn't take too long to add our name to the log.
Thanks SKI Pair for the cache.

Hi there SKI Pair.
Today we were very fortunate to have Ski Pair chauffer us around the area as they did a maintenance run on some of their caches. Our initial plan was to walk around Lake Hyland before the weather got too hot but then, as the weather wasn't too hot, we also managed to find quite a few others while Ski Pair looked on (without giving any hints).
We are quite impressed with the quality of the caches we found today, a lot of thought and effort has gone into their location, size and placement. Congratulations to you both.
All up we found 16 caches & DNF'd 0 in this cache run. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Okay, THAT was a little unexpected. Where do you even GET those?! Luckily I had the tweezers handy, and no one came by while I wad nonchalantly hanging around one of the busiest intersections in town... ⛟ TFTC as always
Arrived at GZ and poked around a little when, in record time for the difficulty rating, kryslazz shouted "woahhh have a look at this!". Sneaky, sneaky! Thank you for the clever hide.
Shai marelle and I orgnaised a Geochaching arvo today as it was well over due. We decided to head out to Churchill. One of my muggle friends lives nearby so decided to take her along for the trip. Turns out she actually found more than we did... hahahah also found with SamJell.
I liked this one. Reaaaaallly cool. Found it quickly though, got lucky I think.

As Kato and I apologised to each other for our dinner-breath (Thai food for me, pizza ham for her, oh we're classy), we pretended to hang around a roundabout like it was what we did all the time. I somehow looked straight at this cache after we'd pretty much decided it was a DNF - I've never seen a hide like that; very clever. TFTC SKI Pair.
After being stuck at home for the last two days due to the heat I decided a night caching adventure was called for. One quick text to Mummy Short Leg found me my companion for the trip and Churchill was the chosen destination.
We were pretty clear on where we should be looking for this one but while the area was correct the location was certainly not the first spot we tried! MSL clicked to it and it's certainly earned a fav from me, never seen this type of hide before. Thanks SKI Pair!

**# 23360** Found on a drive around Parkville trails while here for the mega.
Another perfect day for a drive around with Rebel Acts.
Just a few at Churchill first and then off to Warragul.
Many good safe hides and mainly quick finds.
Thanks for the cache SKI Pair,

HHHHHMMMMMM - found it - funny about that. So, it was dusk when I arrived home from work (it's Concert Week at my particular work place - one evening performance completed and one still to go as well as a Matinee) and I took a short stroll which just happens to be all of 60 steps in
total - to check out this new cache. Absolutely **NO** geocache finding device was required for this one . HHHMMM - but an extraction tool was required. Turned around, took 60 steps back and found an extraction tool. **BUT** I decided to wait until it was a little darker before heading out again as there were a few cars, trucks, muggles out walking and Latrobe Valley Bus Line buses around. So I had dinner, fed the Fur Kids, watched *Hard Quiz* and then set off. Took another 60 steps to retrieve the log - this did take a bit longer than anticipated as the log scroll didn't want to be freed easily from its hidey hole - and then took that familiar 60 steps back. From the comfort of my kitchen table, I signed the log. "HHHHMMM - should be easy enough to replace the log," I said to myself - **WRONG** - one neighbour decided at that very moment to put her bins out - **BUGGER**. AND then, another neighbour decided to back out of his driveway. AND then, another one decided to put his bins out - AAAAAHHHHHHHH Without wanting to look to suspicious to my neighbours, I waited in the shadows of my front porch and I was eventually able to take those 60 very familiar steps to replace the log. Throughout this cache finding adventure, I was constantly being supervised by Geodog, Hydro, watching out the window from the comfort and warmth of our lounge room. He wanted to join me
Thanks SKI Pair for setting up this cache - only 60 steps from home.
Cheers, Fredd01
PS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] also supervised my caching adventures from the comfort of the kitchen table tonight.

2:32pm … two emails … two new caches … each 25 minutes away .. in opposite directions.
Sophie's Choice!! … what do I do???
I decided to go to this one.
I arrived at GZ. A nice quiet parking spot, however unfortunately because it is so quiet, the local watch rat obviously doesn’t see cars or lingering people very often. So it barked its head off the entire time I was looking. Like most searches, I looked in all the wrong places .. before spotting the right place. That’s a cute hiding spot. .. and a blank log!! .. Noice.
