In the area with Selva Girls today picking up some caches around town and this was one of them. Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

A OK here, back to van park now.

We got totally lost trying to get to this cache..long story short. Gotcha.. Existing cache was in bits when we arrived .. replace cache with what we had.. hope it will last.

Today we opted to go on an out of town tour with ilook4geo to pick up some of the caches located away from muggle areas. We found all that we had on the list and were happy to claim the smiley for each find. The container here is badly damaged and needs to be replaced. Thanks to Sobingtons for placing this cache.

As it was a bit finer day we were out caching again with goingplaces2. Caches were found, logs were signed, all replaced, job done! TFTC.

This geocacher reported that the container is damaged.

After caching having to be abandoned at about midday yesterday because of the rain, today was going to be a very busy day discovering the many different places around this historical town. Thanks to the COs who have placed caches in the area for us to find.

Today travelling from Clermont to Emerald after visiting Townsville for the Mega Event at Easter. Arrived at GZ and after a short search cache was found. TFTC

This cache wasn’t too hard

Before the end of the year I wanted to get some more caches done to boost my stats a little more and to finally get out there and grab some boxes after having had a bit of a break the last two months. In fact, I would like to clear most of the caches I have not found so far in Charters Towers today. Thank you very much EatSleepCacheOnline for placing this cache. All caches around Charters Towers have a nice little rural spin to them and I really enjoyed driving around and seeing a lot of nice things today. Thanks for the cache and showing this area.

Out and about for our last day in Charters Towers for this trip. It’s been great exploring the area, checking out the sights, learning about the history and, of course, caching!
Thank you to all the local CO’s for developing and setting up so many caches. A great mix of hides and a variety of types and difficulties have kept us on our toes. Your efforts are appreciated.

Just 10 finds today. Continuing our nomadic trek around Australia we are staying in Charters Towers for a few days. Today we thought it would be nice to log some "Alphabet" caches, we may need them for another challenge cache one day..

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache pretty close to where the GPS said he should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.

This was a speedy find while caching in lovely Charters Towers. This place feels like my second home.

Found while staying in CT for a couple of days. This was a nice easy on a warm morning. Even though he cache looked as if it had been in water/mud all was OK with it. TFTC.

Townsville to Charters Towers.
Stopped for a few caches along the way, some good pull off areas with the caravan in tow.
We have now set up in the caravan park for a few days. Its been 4 years since we have been here.

As i log this, i’m kind of hoping that the cloud cover breaks open and Monty Pythonesque trumpeting and fanfare erupts as it brings up 365 days of consecutive finds. Even if that doesn’t happen, there will be much rejoicing. Any normal person starts at the A’s and proceeds from there, but not me. Thank you EatSleepCacheOnline for placing this cache. A Favourite Point for the milestone. Cache is in good nick.

Out and about exploring the Charters Towers area hunting down caches for the Mystery at the Museum challenge.

TFTC. We are camped at Macrossan Park for a few days before heading into a Motorhome rally in Townsville. We have cached Charters Towers previously but left many for another time. Today was time. We headed out with a list of caches to attempt . Thanks to the cache owners for maintaining these caches for our enjoyment as we travel throughout Australia.
We attempted 8 of this alphabet series with one DNF

While staying in Charters Towers for a few days we attempted the caches that have been published since we last visited as well as trying to convert our 2 previous DNF’s into smileys. We found 12 caches (including our previous DNF’s) and DNF’d 1 more

Cairns trip 2019. Day 5. Today was deceptively simple. Clermont to Charters Towers. There is only one road house along the way so almost 400km with only a short break. In Charters Towers it started to rain on cue for my caching time before I stopped at Reid River. After I had one find under my belt these Charters Towers finds came steadily.
