Post work geocaching. Daylight saving time a real bonus. Was heading to mystery caches, one with unknown coordinates and other not! Lets detour to this multi cache whose coordinates I got sorted a few months ago or so. Really wanted to find WP1 way back snd got nowhere. Hence a PAF, like recent finders.Today my approach was via the bottom of that dam. Nice clambering upwards to compare views from below and above Both really good. And that big cache! TFTC EcoTeam for my 2459 find.
This location is one of my favourite spots. I have come here many many times including hosting a party down in the dam below. I wrote about it in the logbook if you want more details but I didnt end. Well it is always fun seeing the art evolve overtime. I got word that waypoint one was missing for this so I asked for the final coordinates chatting with a friend they told me that waypoint one is most likely still there and just a few people couldnt find it and it started the idea that its missing if I find the waypoint so next time Im down the bottom I will have a look, after finding Morpheus I parked nearby and found a suitable trail to get to ground zero. I have never been to the side of the dam before used my Geo senses and quickly found the large cash. I am always weary of spiders with containers like this so I slowly evaluated it, of course there was a spider painted onto the side that doesnt help me at all. Signed the log and read some past experiences. Thanks for this one. What a hide. Great DT super old and a large in an amazing location. FP for sure! (When available)
I originally looked for this a long time ago but had no luck finding WP1 which is apparently gone but then managed to get the GZ cords from a friend. Decided to make the climb up from the dam which was just stupid when there were easier ways only to not be able to find. Returned with family to make a fairly quick find. Not sure how I missed it the first time.
Great one to end the day with. Hasnt been found for nearly 1 year. Being an old cache we really needed to find it. We looked and looked then Bedlem2 did the located scream. What a way to end the day.TFTCSigned log as RBTK
What a great way to to end a cache day by finding a very old cache that had not been found for a long time found with geo family
Last one for today.I have had this one solved for years but never come out this way to get it. Today with the grew we were going for it. S777 tried to find it last week with no luck. A nice little walk down trail and then the search was on. I had another look were S777 had already looked and screamed with delight when I found it. Another well earned smile on my page.Signed RBTK
I came armed with a set of coords, as the logs are saying that the WP that tells you is missing, and i could not find anything today. So an interesting walk down to the dam, but then, i backtracked to find another entry point, as that was the best fit for me for the final. It would be totally awesome to some some water going through this tunnel. Looking at the erosion above the impact wall tells a story. Thnaks for keeping this oldie going. Fav from me.
I found this cache as I headed home to Adelaide after the QOGM events around Longreach. The plan was to be away for about a month. I travelled up to Longreach via Broken Hill, Cunnamulla, Charleville and Barcaldine, camping and finding caches of interest along the way. I am heading back home via Brisbane and the NSW coast to Sydney, then across to Adelaide. However my plans are pretty loose and subject to change, often on a whim! The weather so far has been good, albeit a little warm at times. I am hoping it stays good for the rest of the trip.I have had to be quite selective with the caches I have found as there are so many that I am passing. As a result I have mostly targeted non-traditional cache types, although I have also grabbed a few Trads opportunistically here and there.I took the time to find this cache and a couple of other nearby oldies today. Thanks EcoTeam for the cache, which has contributed to an interesting and enjoyable
Out on another hot day and had some info that made the cache OK to find. Found the best access route and went along with goingplaces2 to find a well placed cache. Some interesting stuff inside the container. Signed log and went back to the air conditioned car. TFTC.
Wanted to do a multi cache today and happened to focus on this one. Had some handy info from a previous finder and soon managed to find the good size container. Can now tick this one off our bucket list. Access was good with only a bit at the end that was a little more difficult. Thanks go to EcoTeam for placing this cache in an area that we certainly have never been before.

The second attempt on finding this cache. The first time with Everest high we were down at the dam. We were amazed, we never knew this existed down here. Unfortunately we could not find that first waypoint.
Today with additional Intel I made a second attempt. This time around the water was rushing through the dam as it had rained overnight. Luckily I could keep my feet dry and found the cache in good condition.

Looked for a longish while only with a vagueish description of GZ. I think the WP1 is missing. OCW EverestHigh
Without finding the required info (coords) at WP1, I gave myself at best a "1 in 100" chance of finding this cache. After gaining furthet insight at the nearby Gatherer Hade CCE, we returned for a quick find. Not quite what or where we were expecting but close. Happy Boxing Day, or is that Bucket Day. OCW GoogleHiHiHi. TFTC EcoTeam
A long journey going back and forth on this one, but eventually got coordinates from a previous finder as waypoint one is presumably missing. Found a container we were not expecting. Filled with literature witch is good but the books might be a bit less dry that usual. Tried to etch numbers in the tunnel but they are faint to the point that they are basically invisible. You can try to find to them but you might not have luck. OCW EverestHigh. TFTC
After many attempts and many hours in the bush over the last few years we decided to give it a go again today. Knowing the first waypoint was no longer there we PAFd and got a hint pointing us in the right direction. After a lovely walk toward GZ and knowing that snakes had been sighted on the path today, we headed off the trail for a quick bash, and Bingo! It’s nice to finally turn this one yellow. TFTC!
FINALLY! I have joined Roomar_S on trying to find this one a couple of times and the struggle was very real without the waypoints intact. Thanks to a quick hint from bella at waggy, and a thorough bush bash, we finally had the cache in hand and signed. Luckily there were no signs of snakes (the weather is perfect for them) but instead we did find a very active echidna! TFTC!
An old school cache that we had been meaning to find for some time but for some reason it slips off our radar. We today was the day to fix that. The approach was made from the right areas and the final was soon found. Great to see a good sized container and this one still going. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
What an epic adventure. Even though I wasn’t able to locate this cache, I had and adventure and a half in its attempt. It amazes me sometimes the things I’ll do to find a cache. Up from Melbourne for 48 hours. Climbed the ginormous steps yesterday and back today to narrow the search. Covered in scratches and aching muscles but I’m still smiling. Crazy thing is I stumbled across Breathless today so all is not lost. This one will be remembered as the one that got away. Thanks for the fun EcoTeam I’ll be back someday.
Tftc. This one had taken a while. Been here and looked a number of times but no luck. Had hunch and checked it out with PAF but has taken a while to get back. Fairly quick today as astarted systematic search.

The hole in the dam was flooded today. I explored the North Rocks side pretty well and couldn't get over the Northmead side.
Today was the perfect still and sunny winter's day for hitting the northshore & hills district trails for some geocaching. Came here to this dam multi prepared for all caching possibilities... but not finding WP1 after about 90 mins of searching was not one of them. I just got absolutely no clue where/ how/ altitude/ what. So I had to walk away. But as I climbed out I kinda had a read thru some of the many logs here online and I picked up on a few clues as to where GZ *could* be. Even after the last hour and a half, I was feeling lucky, and I still had a little bit of time...
So I took a punt ...and it paid off!
Whoa that felt incredibly good! Was in the first real place I looked ha. Cache was buried under a lot of driftwood and rubble but still in good condish with everything dry and safely protected from the elements. This thing is so old it has a VHS tape in it, oh and these things called "books" lol. I dipped some coins including our [Jasmer coin](https://coord.info/TB7AXHF) as this is a nice early multi, but took nothing. I was tempted to take the de-soldering wick (that is definitely a SWAG first) as I ran out a few months back but I didn't have a swap to make. Next techie finder is in luck.
What a unique area. It is always fun and fascinating to discover this kind of place. TFTC, EcoTeam.

Called by to have a crack at finding this cache but time got the better of us.
TFTC! This was a heck of a find - interesting size, DT and hidden date.
What's not to love?
Weird how the hide shared coordinates with another -I might never have known were it not for a recommendation from ZQX.
Managed to find with a few spare hours, a systematic search and a PAF.
Thanks!

Had been here briefly before a few years back but didn’t have much of a search, but today doing some weed control need by sort of stumbled across it rather then a straight out find. Now completed and all in ok order. Tftc tnln

Today marks the end of a multi-year adventure I've had with this cache. I initially came to look for the waypoint in my first year of caching and was surprised to find the well decorated, over-sized structure in the middle of the bush. After having a fun afternoon exploring the structure and surrounding area, I came away clueless.
Returned within the next year and managed to find the original first WP which no longer had any legible coordinates. Ever since, I've been itching to bring my youngest geoTeen to check out the area - especially as I noted that the WP had been replaced.
Finally today, the geoTeen agreed to accompany me with the added bonus of extra hours on his L's. Although I quickly found the remnants of the original waypoint again, the replacement eluded us for too long, but did give us a good opportunity to explore from above and below. And then that magic moment of discovery! It confirmed my suspicions of where GZ was and I knew the perfect line of approach. Great to finally add my name to the log book and pick up a couple of unloved months to boot.
Love these old school caches. They sure knew how to hide 'em back then! FP for sure.

I initially only targeted this cache today due to it being quite an oldie hidden in 2002! But now I can safely say, I am bloody glad I did and what a ripper of a cache
I parked at the top of Loyalty Road and followed the path down to the **AMAZING** Dam Wall. Truly an awesome sight, and this cache could get a favourite point just for bringing me here to explore, but it doesn't stop there! I marvelled at it from up high and started a systematic search. I searched on numerous levels, with numerous terrain ratings. Eventually I spied something of interest and my face glowed up when it revealed the coordinates! Very clever and a tough find!
I plugged the coordinates into my phone and noticed how close they were, but how do I get there!?
If I thought clambering up and down the edge of the dam wall gave me enough stars for this cache I was wrong! I soon had a short but steep bush bash to reach my prize!
After an awesome spot for WP1, a clever way to conceal the coordinates, it all got polished off by a LARGE container in another great location with a different perspective again!
Really really loved this cache and the place it brought me, highly recommend and a favourite point to go with it! Thanks

Actually found by accident when exploring down at the dam and an excelent piece of history
Wow, what a feat! I think it's pretty safe to say that myself, the geo-dad and the geo-bro are thoroughly familiar with all aspects of this impressive feature. Admittedly it did take about 30 mins and a few trips up and down before we finally discovered the all-important clue at WP1. Once we had this info, it was a question of how exactly do we reach WP2??? My two companions stayed behind while I scampered to GZ. After a couple of minutes I had the large container in hand. SL TNLN and returned to original position with additional camo in place.
Thanks for the adventure!
Thanks for the adventure!
Found with the help of dkmacca although his intel was a little sketchy. I parked at the end of Loyalty Road and made my way down to where the co-ords were.
Had a decent look at all the graffiti that was there and "parkour" my way down the very big "steps" of the dam wall.
Took multiple photos of the decent graffiti art - not tags but pictures and then hunted for the clue to WP1.
I took great care not drop the phone in the water and after getting distracted by the art I found the clue.
I initially went the wrong way to way point one and bumped into a muggle who was wearing business attire. Not sure why he was wearing business attire. Maybe a business deal gone bad and needed time out?
He disappeared back up the top of the dam following the main trail out whilst I figured which way to go then found some what of a easy enough part of the scrub then bush bashed along the cliff and up to gz.
Gz CO ords very bouncy as I headed on up the other side. Got within 4m and saw the large container blatantly sitting in its hurry spot but not much camo to hide it.
Went through the old log books read previous finders extensive logs.
Etched my little story in after more recent finders only left their name.
I took a book in exchange for a slinky toy, a toy car (hot wheels) and a toy parachute man.
This cache completes my 4 x 4 difficulty terrain rating grid.
I've been wanting to do this one for a while but have been scared.
Glad I gathered courage and bravery.
Certainly earns a fave point for how colourful, creative, great location, well kept cache.
I have thoroughly re-camo and put it a little bit more in its hidey spot rather than just out in the open. Future finders... please do the same.

Epic! But not possible without some help from not one but two PAF buddies. After more than an hour I finally found something at WP1. But any information there had faded/been washed away. PAF #1 got me to WP2 where I spent another long period searching. Some information I stumbled across in some old logs got me close to GZ, and then I just looked and looked for a long time. Eventually I gave up. Walking back to the nearest bus stop I got a message from PAF #2 that provided more specific information. I did a 180 and headed back to where I had been searching. 20 minutes later I had the container open and was looking through its contents. Phew! Put my name in the log after many hours of searching. I am very well acquainted with the area now.
I recommend that the CO check waypoints, as there are some issues with WP1 at the very least.

out for a cache with Ris768 & while on the way to another cache I suggested we go for this one as we had time & the weather wast too hot. Parked & walked down to WP1 made the find after a few minutes of searching then looked at where we had to go next & made the scramble once at the right level we saw an easier return path. Thanks EcoTeam for placing & maintaining this cache

After doing the nearby Puzzle cache, I moved on to this one. I arrived at the listed Co ords and remember Abseiling here back in my Ventures days. I searched everywhere here before moving upstairs to see if I can found the WP1 info but after another 30 minutes looking nothing. Umm! Ok a PAF was needed but my friend didn't answer. I read previous logs and made the decision to go back down on the knowledge of one previous log. On the way back down my PAF rings back with an extra hint and I soon had the required info for WP2. Ok! that looks good. So off I go to WP2 and with a bit of bush bashing, I arrived at WP2 only top found that it's now the final GZ. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

Finally turned this into a smiley. As this is only 235mtrs from my front door i have tried previously but only found the old WP1, which is not legible.
Today I found the new WP1 (it won't fade) this gave the final coordinates which turn out to be only 155mtrs from the front door. Luckily living here for 40 years I know all the tracks so didn't need to bush bash from WP1. It seems from my buddie that there used to be additional WPs but there not used anymore.
Big cache well hidden. Thanks for the effort to re-establish this old cache.
Fav point from me.

I'd passed through the bottom of this pretty amazing structure earlier in the week but didn't really think I had time to attempt this cache so I left it for today, knowing I would have anther set of eyes with me.
Today we started low, then headed high then low again..........eventually geohubby spotted something ( very cool). We entered the co-ords into the phone and I knew of a track to get us there.
I was looking for another set of co-ords at WP2 so was very surprised when I found the cache! I think we accidentally skipped WP1!!
This is an amazing area ad it's really great to see such an old cache re-instated.

Well I had my eye on this one because I needed it for a D/T combination spot. So I was quite disappointed when it looked like it would be archived. Glad the CO decided to fix it up. Like others I had got the coords for Wp2 & GZ from previous finders because that looked like the only way to do it.
But seeing as it had been fixed up I decided to do it the way it was intentioned. I parked at Loyalty because I knew there was a good track there, then it was time for the dreaded wp1. Lets just say there was a lot of too-ing & fro-ing. I found what might have been the original (totally illegible & left there for posterity?) . Then that wonderful moment "aha!" Looks like it doesn't have as many stages now. But I decided to go and have a look for wp2 seeing as I already had the coords, didn't find anything though, but picked up another cache that was just a little bit further along.
Back to look for GZ, real problem getting the iphone to settle to a direction, but I had a good idea where I wanted to be, but no easy way to get there. PAF just to check that my hunch was right. I decided to go the easy way, so after relocating the car, I had a chat with a local who was walking her dog & told me how to access where I was heading but added "I don't know that you should go there, they were back burning it a few days ago." Found a nice path, no sign of backburning, and soon found this great old cache.
Thanks for maintaining it, and a favourite point for a great day out. TFTC

I have sent you an email, but I was intending to go and look for this later in the week I have details for the wps and was going to check if they were still there too. Other previous finders have offered to replace the wps if I can't find them.
Thanks everyone, I have the co-ords now and will be replacing the infamous first waypoint within the next week and will get this 15 year old cache back in action!
I think it's something like the 3rd or 4th oldest cache left in NSW?
Stay tuned.

Hi All
EcoDave, owner of the cache here.
I plan on fixing this cache up as it's an old classic in the community.
However because we haven't been caching for many years, we have embarrassingly lost the final co-ords!
Could a previous finder who has the final cache co-ords please email me at [email protected]
I could probably find it from memory, but I'd rather not!
Thanks
Dave.

Almost 6 months since my needs maintenance log and no response. Now needs to be archived.
Sadly, it doesn't seem possible to solve this multi the way it was intended, what with waypoints missing or information too faded to read. It sounds like this was a truly awesome cache when it first came out. Thus, I had to resort to getting more information from a past finder, something I very rarely resort to if there is another way.
Earlier in the day we had been at the bottom of this structure. I had taken my little son for a walk along the creek in search of a different cache. However, I had always wanted to see this barrage after having a quick look at images online and an aerial view on GoogleMaps.
We had a great time going through the tunnel and having a look at the impressive concrete structure from both sides. I checked to see where GZ would be, but it wasn't close enough, and access from down in the pit didn't look likely, especially not with a 4-year old, although he really wanted to climb up the "stairs".
Fortunately, I had seen a small track earlier which looked like it could be more promising for getting to GZ. The final assault on the cache had to wait until after lunch, though, because my little lad was now complaining about being hungry (I was, too). Thus, first we made our way back to a MacDonald's to replenish our strength.
Finally, feeling revitalised we were back, this time following the little trail I had spotted earlier. It was leading in the right direction and soon we were very close. I briefly went ahead to scout out the area and spotted the huge container. Then I instructed my little boy on how to get there, too, and asked him whether he could see anything. He was elated to spot the cache and was really keen to see what would be inside such a monster of a box.
While he rummaged through the contents (mainly paperback novels), I got busy signing my name in the logbook. Then it was time to pack up everything and return the container to its hiding spot. I covered it with a bit more camo.
Really fun cache to find, mainly because it took us to such an interesting feature in the forest. I would have loved to do the cache in the intended way, but that doesn't seem possible anymore.

What a shame this one has not been maintained. This cache is 200 mtrs from home and i have searched for WP1 several times. Came here today to meet past finder and he indicated that I had indeed found WP1 but the info for Wp2 was gone. We then walked on to WP2 to find that it too was missing.
I think this needs maintenance/disabling/archiving ASAP and i will post note for that.
I have a vague ideaof the areaof the GZ from past images but thats not the way this should be played.

#968 came for this one last week but ended up on the wrong side so didn’t feel up to the climb up so left it for another day. Today I parked near a track and walked in however I ended at the base of the structure where I had been the previous time. So I turned around and headed back took another track and got to the top anc walked behind the houses when the GPSr was getting close I got to a house where a dog started barking. Headed down came across a track but continued on to the cache. Everything in the cache was dry as I signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache EcoTeam

Caching with JordsAU
1 of 11 cache finds today
What a start to this afternoons caching.. walking done the path and find this wow.. Decided to complete the accent via the west wall. This first part was a bit tough, but luckily, being tallish, the steps weren't to hard to climb. Now where to step off for the most direct access to gz. With a little help form JordsAU, I got off the wall at the right point back to the scrub. Then a small hike and search... CIH. FP from me

The mission, I chose to accept, was Groundspeak's Mission GC # 2, which was only available this weekend to Premium Members. After decoding the clues during the week, the particular mission we had to undertake was to find a Multi Cache. As a reward, we would be gifted a digital souvenir from headquarters. I have slowly worked through a lot of the Multi Caches close to home, so I was not entirely sure which one I should tackle. AlphaDeltaIndigo suggested we go out to do some caches around Epping, so I picked her up from Epping Station and we first went to the 'Mobb Mentality' Multi Cache. We collected the clues from the various Waypoints, and with the help of Gatherer Hade's log, and ran the calculations. Looking at the map, we thought we had made a mistake because it was way too close to an existing Traditional Cache. We re-did the calculations a few times but kept getting the same answer, so I Phoned A Friend to get some assistance. The PAF confirmed we were in fact correct to begin with and the more recently hidden Traditional Cache is too close to this Multi Cache. Oh well! We drove over to the final co-ordinates and conducted a thorough search around Ground Zero, eventually turning up the cache. Mission success!
Next we decided to attempt 'Puppy Trail No.3'. I was lucky enough to earn the First To Find on the first Puppy Trail cache in the series, so it was good to find another one. AlphaDeltaIndigo and I still had some time up our sleeves and decided to go for our back up Multi Cache (in case we did not find Mobb Mentality), 'One in a Hundred - EcoTeam#6'.
Armed with some additional intel on the whereabouts of 'One in a Hundred - EcoTeam#6', we drove over to North Rocks and walked through the bush to look for the cache. AlphaDeltaIndigo stayed low, while I climbed onwards and upwards. Once at Ground Zero, I expanded my search for a likely hiding spot and soon had the Cache In Hand. Yay! I performed the signing duties on behalf of the both of us and returned the cache to its hiding location. I descended back down, and although I had some trouble finding an easy path to the bottom, I eventually made it back down in one piece. It was a relief to have finally ticked off this old Multi Cache.
Thanks For The Caches to the respective Cache Owners!

Found this one with the assistance of past finder as seems to be the only way to do these days.
What an impressive structure near the GZ it would be a sight to see overflowing. All good at the cache.

Out with JJCC for a lunchtime cache run in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going. This was the third of four caches found today.
Our hunt for this cache began when we visited the area looking for PANDORA'S BOX back in February, at that stage a search for WP1 didn't reveal any clues. Subsequent reading of the logs reveals issues at WP1, so reaching out to a previous enlightened finder, obtained the necessary details in order to proceed with this cache.
After finding the nearby cache Breathless - EcoTeam#9 today, we continued on foot towards our destination. On arrival we proceeded to search in some likely locations. On the third spot checked we found a nice big container which is the cache. With the cache safely in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found. The cache container and log are in good condition.
Hearing young muggles down the gully throwing bottles, on our return to the car we checked out the top of the wall. From our vantage point we could see half a dozen young teens spray painting the concrete and polluting the creek with paint. It is interesting going through some of the old photos attached to this cache and seeing the amount of vandalism that has occurred over the years.

Out with Team Merlin to find our daily cache to keep our streak going.
Targeting a few caches today in Glenorie. On to the next we choose the multi cache One in a Hundred - EcoTeam#6. With coordinates determined by Team Merlin and a previous Geocacher and with required information from the puzzle cache Breathless - EcoTeam#9 we could proceed with this cache. Parking nearby we then walked towards GZ. Looking in the area indicated took several tries before widening the search area and we then made a find of the well hidden cache. With the cache in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found. The cache log and container are in good condition. This is the third of four caches found today. A few vandal muggles about.

As things stand at the moment, the only way to find this one is to appeal to the good nature of a previous finder. So this I did, and today I parked in Loyalty Road and took a long but very pleasant stroll in the unseasonal heat, picking my way through the brush turkeys, to GZ. I can’t claim to have earned either the terrain or the difficulty rating but I am honoured to have logged this venerable cache and very grateful for the assistance.
Thanks for placing this cache EcoTeam.

Due to be really hot today, so headed out earlier than normal to grab a new cache nearby. having grabbed that I realised that a high D/T traditional I've so far ignored was nearby.
OK, I'm game.
In the end I grabbed both, albeit one required a PAF.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Early on in my caching career I'd noted this cache, but the high D/T put me off somewhat. Then later reports of difficulties at waypoint one started surfacing.
Hmmm. So I put it on the backburner.
Today I'd picked up a cache nearby and this one glared at me again. Right. So I thought I'd try a PAF to get past the problem.
Got a reply pretty quick, and had a way forward.
In deference to the CO's original intentions, though I decided I'd visit the waypoints before going for GZ.
Fascinating spot - and so much up and down.
So finally went for GZ, and while I may not have earned my D rating, I certainly earned the T!
By the time I was closing in I was drenched with sweat, but like the last finder I spotted it from a distance once in the right area.
All good - that lid is totally waterproof, and after expending so much energy getting there barely had enough to open it.
Completed signing duties and had a look at some of the older logs.
Then closed and replaced - then spotted something I'd forgotten to replace so had the struggle to reopen again.
Decided on the lower terrain exit, though. Phew.
Good to finally put this one to bed.

This one has been a while in the making. I came looking for this one several months ago, but couldn't get anything from WP1, so left it there. I came across it again yesterday online, and after reading some recent logs, it looks like I wasn't the only one who couldn't get further than WP1, so I reached out to a recent finder (thank you, you know who you are!), and they generously gave me a point in the right direction.
It was a scorcher today, so I headed out around 10:30am to go for this one. I knew I'd sweat, but figured there would be some good tree coverage to keep me cool. From where I parked, it didn't take long to get within 10m of GZ. A little scramble towards the end, and there it was!
It had been 5 months since the last find when I looked last night, and yet when I opened the logbook, Gatherer Hade had signed today as well! Cool coincidence. I wonder how much I missed you by.
Had a quick look through the swag, signed, and got out of there. Great to find such an old one, though a shame that it was essentially a traditional for me. TFTC

22/09/15. 11:04 AM. Cache #3019. Streak day #457.
1st of 4 today - North Rocks, Parramatta & Bella Vista.
Having seen from recent logs that there is an issue in reading WP1, I asked the last finder what sort of information he had received and he was able to provide it to me - very generous indeed, but I'm sure it's probably now the only way this one can be found.
That was a few days ago; today I decided to head over to GZ to make the find. From the nearest parking, I had only about a 250m walk to the cache, most of which was narrow track that was easy enough to follow. On arrival, I spotted the cache from a few metres away. There was plenty of water accumulated on the lid, but the inside was nice and dry. I signed the log, replaced the cache and returned the way I came, then headed into Parramatta Park to get a new one from last weekend, "Feed the ducks". TFTC.

Followed phlphotos on yet another one of his mysteries. This was a great walk down into the gully and back up the other side...reverse the trip after finding the cache and you get an idea why it's called "breathless." It could be called legless too.
EDF contacted me about wpt 1 being illegible after all that rain. I'd be happy to fix it up again, if the CO are ok with that. Unfortunately, the CO need to remove the NM attribute by logging a maintained log. I'm not the CO so whilst I can help keep this alive it wont remove the red cross.
Today was my last chance to spend a few hours rummaging around the bush for a few weeks, so I headed to North Rocks this morning. Geodoggie had a ball in the various creeks and on the tracks.
This one I noticed only after finding a few others in the area some time ago and then seeing that there was an oldie but a goodie nearby as well. So I looked through all the logs to try and glean as much as possible, as it certainly appeared to be very tricky.
If not impossible right now. I earnt the T, but not the D.
I texted for assistance after a considerable time at WP1, which came through quickly. But then having found the waypoint, it was completely illegible and needs to be replaced. There has been so much water this year that it was no surprise, but still disappointing.
So I had to text again to further my quest, visited WP2 and eventually GZ, taking the long way after a brief attempt at the short way proved impossible for geodoggie. And she panics if I climb anywhere and she can't follow.
The container was so packed I decided to take a few books, there a few caches that I can put them in. Nice to find such an old one.
TFTC Eco-Team and Tronador for the maintenance. And to my PAF assistance.

So this flood retaining wall is designed for 1 in 100 year floods? Strange that since I first attempted looking for WP1 a month ago, two following attempts were foiled by flooding of the tunnel. I hope that my approach wasn't the cause of summoning the deluge.
My find was with assistance from email and PAFs, but even then the information found at WP1 is barely legible. I had to guess what the numbers would be if half hadn't faded. My intuition had me close to an obvious feature of the park. Even with a PAF though it took me 20 minutes to spot and read the info from WP2. It too had faded a bit, but mush easier to read.
At WP3 I was expecting another set of coordinates to search for, but I was thankfully rewarded with a large cache full of old books.
A truly fantastic adventure. Thanks for the cache.

Spent some time looking for WP1 today but was unable to find anything. I will be back.
After my dnf a month ago I got a small hint re WP1 and that was enough to allow me to find it in less than 10 minutes today. I did find some of the early logs a bit misleading in regard to WP1. In hindsight, last time when I moved away from the structure the gps readings from my android phone were very accurate. You just gotta trust it. WP2 fell in less than 5 minutes and I had a gz kinda where I thought it might be. The waypoints are indeed faded but I had no problem reading them - but they do require close inspection.
I was able to take a track to within 20m of gz. The large cache was soon in hand and I signed but did not avail myself of the book swap - although the Ursula le Guin book looked interesting.
Thanks EcoTeam, a great vintage caching experience.

I'd read this cache, and a lot of the logs, many times before. But being quite a distance from my usual stomping grounds, and the estimated time to make any progress had stopped me from having a go.
Arrived here shortly before 7pm, but being December had quite good light. Had in mind what kind of thing I'd be looking for, and commenced a thorough search. 45mins later (and with the headlamp well and truly lighting up the area) came up empty, and asked a previous finder (well 2 actually for a hint). Left, and got back to the car, when word came through with a hint that I was searching too far off to be likely to find it. Returned to the area, and then had some luck.
Off the WP2, and spotted it quickly. Except scumbag brain said "Nah, bro, that couldn't be it", and then searched, and searched and searched. Went to back to what I'd seen earlier, and grabbed it.
Then GZ. Here I certainly earnt my terrain, navigating in pitch blackness from probably the wrong approach. But anyway, my name is now in the book.
I feel slightly guilty receiving the hint, and certainly have a lot for the initial finders who had to do it with no hints or logs to work off, and also for those who did it without any help. Although saying that, the hint that I thought I had gleaned off a previous log is what had led to to be searching in the wrong area.

We got done this cache in two visits. Yesterday I walked towards WP1 from Rifle Range Rd and using logs from previous finders (some of them quite revealing) I made a quick find. The only difficult part was to read the east coords - actually first I thought what I found were only southies.
After some magnifying exercise using my phone a short walk to WP2 followed and I spotted something suspicious. Yes, the coords were found (even fainter but still readable). As I was running out of time I left finding the main prize for this morning.
Today we parked at the same place and bushbashed our way in more or less straight line towards GZ. It was only a very short distance from GZ when we came across the path (I think the one mentioned by some finders in their logs). From there we moved towards GZ and saw the cache from a distance. SL and replaced with bit more camo, but still very visible for those who know what they are looking for.
Thank EcoTeam for the cache and Tronador for the WP1 maintenance!

It's an amazing place. I narrowed down the search area to a couple of likely spots but couldn't find a WP. I shall return armed with more information...
This was our second visit to this location. After our first visit I tried contacting cache owner without sucess as I thought I'd found the likely location of WP1 with some faded co-ordinates.
Turns out I was wrong, and after a tip from a fellow Geocacher, thought we'd have another go at it.
Even with the tip it still took some persistence finding WP1 which isn't very GPS friendly.
WP2 was a little easier but still took a while to locate.
Both WP1 and WP2 are faded but still readable.
We took the easy option getting to GZ via the long road.
Geoson was gobsmacked with the chockas cache. Took some frogs and left a TMNT vehicle. Goodies for young and old.
A very clever hide in a pleasant location.
Only downer was the amount of spray cans littering the creek bed. Practised CITO and removed 3 shopping bags worth of tin cans and other muck.
If you plan on doing this one take a garbage bag and do the environment a favour.

Not so much a DNF, as I a, "I didn't want to disturb the work of the muggles"
Would love to have another go when the GZ is not occupied. (Well, where I think the GZ is from an initial inspection)

Straight from work this afternoon determined to find at least WP1.
Can you believe at least 2 hours was spent climbing up and down last time. This time with infra red spotted the doozy of all doozy coords and after many cart wheels off to WP2. Might as well try.
Found nearly straight away.
WP2 was opened up to grab a good view of coords. Funny thing was I saw this last time as I past by on another cache, but didn't check it out.
GZ, unlike the others has to be one of the largest containers I've found.
Like a library inside with many books and a video, playdoe, dolls and other odd bits and trinklets. Signed book 2, TFTC and fun.

I had a good look around, both high and low but couldn't find the first coordinate cache. I came back for a second look but there were a couple of young lovers meeting near WP1 so I left them to it.
This was a very easy find after several attempts! A clue from jimmyluxury shed some light on WP1. The light was real bad when looking for WP2 but was an easy find early morning. WP2 is becoming very difficult to read but managed to find the stash very quickly.
I notice 13 teams keeping a close eye on this one.
Am planning to tackle this on Saturday mourning if anybody interested as well.
If everything goes fine then I hope it will only take couple of hours.

I looked and looked then explored a little further a field. Ended up crawling over and under the structure and still didn't find wp1. I'm thinking that wp1 may have surcombed to the recent high waters. I'll have to do some more homework. I'll attempt again next time I come down from Newcastle. Loved the cache so far even though I haven't found anything.
Running out of daylight as we headed down. So after a quick search with no luck back up we went for dinner.
I will be back.
Abseiled here a couple times as a Boy Scout many many years ago.

Finally found it, what an effort!
Had hiked down and attempted WP1 several times on different occasions with no success. Waited for Sensible Shoes to find, and asked them for a hint (Thank you Sensible Shoes!)
They were able to give me a nudge in the right direction and confirm the co-ordinates were accurate.
Went out and tried again today, searched for ages, knowing I was in the right location, with no luck. Had just sent another e-mail to Sensible Shoes asking for help when I spied something (During a thorough search) that was promising, and sure enough, that was it!
WP2 was quite easy by comparison although devilishly clever. Saw it a mile off. Attempted from below, no dice, not even with my height and some tricky photography. Attempting from above yielded results. Had to open things up a little to get a good reading - Yet another tricky thing. Also had to get down on my stomach, which probably looked pretty silly.
Ground Zero was somewhere I had gone recently for another cache, so I knew approximately where to head. Got up there, searched for about 5 minutes and made the find. Expected the cache to be somewhere else based on the photos. Some great items in here, took something, left something.
On the way back, decided to go the quick way, although this is a bit dangerous. I would recommend the long way for others in future.
Thanks for the cache, such a great clever one, gets a favourite point.
A hint to other cachers would be not to rely on the photos. Some of them really send you looking for the wrong thing.

Now that's what I call a cache! Mr S ventured out for this one, in the company of Sensible Sis (who had found it nearly two years ago). The search for WP1 took quite a while, with the initial search being carried out in quite the wrong location. After several hints from Sensible Sis (and an encounter with an "interesting" gentleman out for a walk), it was finally located. WP2 was a much easier find and was still fairly legible. We managed to find the easy way to GZ, but it still took a bit of a search to locate the container. I can now see why this cache has a reputation as a must-do Sydney cache. Favourite point awarded. TNLNSL TFTC.
The highest difficulty I have attempted, and boy was it difficult.
Arrived at WP1, searched high for a while without any success. Headed down one side looking for WP1, went up and down a few levels, still no success.
Started considering the opposite side, attempted to walk down over the rocks, but clearly too dangerous. Walked back up, found a path, walked down, found the tunnel and searched around there for a while, still nothing.
Walked through and back, kept searching, still nothing. Got the torch out and searched the tunnel - Nup!
Checked out everyone's pictures for some clues, got some ideas, climbed up the big steps, searched each level, still nothing. Went back down, looked in the tunnel again, then headed back up the big steps again, checking each level even more carefully. Still nothing!
Took one last look around the edges, nooks and crannies at the top, which was frustratingly at 0 metres on the GPS, but nothing.
All in all, would have searched for about an hour and a bit without success. Pretty tired from all of the steps up/down as well. Will wait for someone else to log, then try again.
Thanks for the hide!

I first attempted this about 9 months ago. Local conditions made access to WP1 too difficult, but at least I found out what I was up against.
I figured conditions would be excellent today, so returned to WP1 and found the pointer after a few minutes. GPS reception at WP2 was lousy and I went back and forth for a while before doing what I should have done and just looked. WP2 might be easy to spot but not easy to read. Time has taken its toll and I had 6 possibilities, but one favourite.
A bit of knowledge about another cache helped with a route to the first choice. Arriving there, I didn't find anything and was starting to doubt my guess. It was looking like a 1 on a hundred chance of being found. But there was something logically right about the location, in a humorous sort of way. A quick look in a likely spot several metres away and I had this remarkably large cache.
Lots of interesting stuff to look through here and all in good nick too.
This multi was good fun in an unusual locale. Worth a fave. TFTC

Well, this was a mini adventure - I am now very well acquainted with a certain structure having viewed it from all possible angles. Started on one side and couldn't get where I wanted to go, so tried a different approach which took me right there! An eagle eyed search got me a waypoint and some coordinates. Off I trotted to the second spot and I spotted the waypoint quickly - getting it was another matter; had to deploy some improvised special equipment. It was hard to read the coords, but I worked them out with some study. Then off to the final - but how to get there??? Tried several options which didn't help me, but finally found something of a 'path' that took me to the spot. Then there were some spider dodging antics (no doubt amusing to onlookers had there been any!) in order to get the cache - quite a stretch!! Pitty I didn't have a swap as it was a well stocked cache!
Thanks for the adventure!
Thanks for the adventure!
Cache #10
A very rewarding find today with mat41174 and CarlBrit.
We actually searched for WP1 on this one about 2 weeks ago, but we were poorly prepared having no idea what we were looking for and where it would likely be hidden. After that unsuccessful visit I spent quite a bit of time reading all past logs and gathering clues to help narrow the search. This paid off and my suspiscions as to what we should be looking for and where it would be located were spot on and WP1 was found in about 2 minutes.
From here we headed off to find WP2. This proved very frustrating at first as my iPhone seemed to be jumping all over the place, so instead I had to ignore where it said I was and try to locate the waypoint using landmarks etc as reference. I was determined to scour one potential area whilst CarlBrit concentrated on another nearby location. His search area was soon revealed to be the correct one when he exclaimed he had found something! A team effort was required to retrieve the coordinates and we were off once again.
By the time we neared GZ the iPhone seemed to be a little more accurate than it had been and we were able to make a quick B line to the cache. mat41174 led the way this time and he found the cache in no time.
Quite a decent treasure trove in the cache for those who like to read. To my knowledge this cache had not been found since November last year, but the log book said otherwise! We were suprised to see that the cache had been found more than once today with a log by TheBidgies. Amazing to think a cache has gone unfound for 6 months and then is found twice in one day. We wondered what time TheBidgies found this as we found the cache at 4pm but before arriving at GZ saw some people heading back toward Rifle Range Road. I am guessing they retrieved the travel bug from the cache and replaced it with a geocoin, as a geocoin is what I took from the cache.
Thanks for the adventure EcoTeam... I am definately giving this one a favourite point as I found it challenging and enjoyable.
I am uploading 2 pics from today and another 2 pics which I took at "the structure" on 12 February 2007, which shows what the area looks like in an event similar to that which may occur once every 100 years. These were taken long before I even knew there was such a thing as "geocaching".

After meeting Tronador a few months ago, she was kind enough to give us a hint or two for this cache. Her main words of advice – don’t go if it has rained recently.
So we waited for a stretch of dry weather.
And we waited some more.
It rained all summer long.
Finally autumn dawned, along with some sunshine, and a day with free time – let’s go!
We located WP1, still remarkably in place given the volume of water that must have gone through here in recent months, and only centimetres from places that we looked on our last searches – doh! We went straight to WP2 and found it out and exposed, how we missed it in previous attempts remains a mystery. Anyway, it is now concealed a little better and out of muggle view.
How to get to GZ? After trying a few different angles we finally sorted the right way through the bush, and located the cache at long last. This was no mean feat given we were working with an android phone app, under heavy tree cover and within cooee of the greatest GPS scrambler we have encountered. We were very relieved to finally put our name on that log – our 200th cache! Swapped a trackable for another, hang on – what is this? A trackable that we have seen before, what are the odds of that happening? About 1 in 100?
Thanks for the cache EcoTeam, an epic adventure even ten years after placement. And a big thanks to Tronador and Ruffasguts4x4 for their hints and encouragement to make the find, it really was a cache adventure worth pursuing.

Awesome site. Timing for a good search wasn't the best today but at least I know what I'm up against. Until nextime...
Another excellent adventure. After finding wp1 a couple if weeks ago but aborting due to an inadequate gps signal, I returned this afternoon to team up with Alfyboy and finish this off armed with a better gps.
I arrived early and found wp2 quickly then wandered back to meet Alf near wp1. To my horror I found him engaged in a life and death struggle with a monstrous yabby (6 foot tall at least with slathering jaws and razor pointed nippers - well maybe not quite that big:)).
After fighting off the monster, Alf went off to discover wp1 for himself, whilst I scouted a route to gz.
Upon recovening we decided on a pincer attack on gz, I took the long way, whilst he took the direct route. This resulted in us converging in gz nearly simultaneously, but before I could get a lock on gz, I heard "got it".
Thx for an excellent adventure. Oh and thx to pjm for the tiny hint for wp1.

Cache #851; GAFF4; Weather, Sunny; Helpers, PPE; Condition, Good; Finds2Day, 3rd; STATUS, Found; GPSr @ GZ - 4m
Purplepeopleater had done WP1, and after I finished Pandora's Box cache, I walked over and started searching myself. I started at the top, then went down the bottom, then went back up the top, then went down the bottom. WHEW. I love the challenge and went the 'fast' way down the first time, scary stuff!
Finnaly PPE came back and helped me fight of a huge Yabby, whose territiory we were invading. He disappeared back into the water and I continued to look for WP1. Finally found it, got the info and then went for WP2, while PPE went looking for GZ.
I got to WP2 and had another good look around, and then with PPE coming back to watch, found it in the strangest of places. There...but how...ohhh... Got the info and then we decided to split up for a GZ attack.
I went the terrain 4 way, and PPE followed the track. We converged close to GZ, as I looked and yelled out that I had found it. Interesting cache!! We SL, had a quick look and then replaced everything again.
Nice multi Ecoteam, maybe some hard WP's as well, no wonder you've given it a 4/4 rating, Thanx for the help PPE and the walk. TFTC.

Another day, another attempt, another blue face.
After spending yesterday trawling through years of old logs, we were pretty certain we knew exactly where WP1 was, but after another good search we still came up empty handed. Saw plenty of spiders, and even met a few lizards, but none had the coordinates we need!

Add us to the DNF list. Searched high, searched low. Unfortunately the Gecoaching app on the phone was refusing to load, and we were searching using only the clues we had remembered from reading the cache description online last night. Although, given the structure I am not sure a GPS would have worked anyway. We will be back another day…..
Best cache yet.. Love WP1. very sneaky. It certainly helps doing it in the day. Watch out for the red back
I had printed this one of ages as something I just had to do.
So today the three boys and I tackled this one. After a Phone-A-Friend helped us figure out what we were looking for we soon had WP1 and WP2. Okay, soon may be an over statement, but sooner than I expected.
Having found a nearby cache I had sussed the track to GZ and we soon had the easy find. The hard work had already been done!

I'd come to find the other nearby cache and thought I'd try for this. Unfortunately I didn't read the logs and I wasn't very well equipped for this one. The logs on my GPS only extended as far back as pjmpjm's, and based on what he said I figured there was some useful information I also didn't have access to. So this was a pretty interesting place to come to, but I realise, now, I'm going to need to be better prepared next time. Thanks
Found it! My third attempt at WP1 paid off today - it's a bit tricky. Had to walk away from WP1 before the GPS could get a fix on any satellites but I had found the area of WP2 from a previous log. Similar WP here but a bit harder to access. The writing is starting to fade a bit but it's still readable. I went the direct route to GZ. I thought there was probably an easier way but didn't want to walk out and then not be able to find another way in. It was fun anyway with a big well-stocked cache at the end as a reward. One of the biggest and probably one of the oldest that I've found. Thanks for getting this back up and running, it was definitely worth it.

Relatively quick find on my second visit, the weather cut the first search short, WP1 fell in approx 15min, WP2 the same approx 15min and then it was a nice scramble to GZ. Swapped a few books, Great cache all-round, thanks to Tronador for reinstating WP1. TFTC
Quick easy find, quick easy find, quick ea....enough of the therapy the nightmares will go away.
After four previous DNFs and knowing that WP1 had now been replaced, I was determined to find this cache today while visiting Sydney for the xmas party. I called in on the way to the party and searched for a while but still had no luck and headed to the xmas party feeling quite dejected.
At the party I got a bit of direction from Tronador (I had not in the right area this morning) and headed back after the party to continue the battle. After half an hour of still coming up blank I had to phone Tronador for more detailed help (the waypoint had definately defeated me again). Knowing what to look for and the correct area helped and a finally had it, I must have looked there ten times over my many visits and a couple today but just didn't see it, but all was well now.
I set off to WP2 thinking things were finally falling into place but when I got there the GPS would only give me 10m accuracy so the search began and continued and continued until I was defeated again and called Tronador again to rescue me, she only needed to hello before the WP jumped out and bite me though. I actually looked here during one of my previous visits and could nearly have found this and saved alot of trouble but no it couldn't have jumped out at me then.
It was then off to GZ and finally a quick find of this large cache, that's right a quick find.
Thanks Ecoteam for a great cache that I will never forget and thanks Tronador for all your help.

Woo Hoo! Not a FTF, by any means, but still . . . Yes, I managed to take enough time off work to return to the legendary Northmead/Castle Hill site again this afternoon and successfully made it up to GZ and quickly found the much sought-after large cache!
The black container was just fine (as I knew it would be, since Yurt had recently tidied it up and donated a new log book) and I brought with me a large number of paperback books (all suitable for children and/or families) to completely fill up the container. The present position of the cache ought to ensure that it remains nice and dry.
This geocaching adventure has been a really memorable one for me. Although it doesn't compare in scale and detail and overall 'impact' with -- for example -- the landmark 'Higgins Hidden Valley' series -- it's nevertheless a very challenging multi-part experience that significantly tests a geocacher's skills and stamina.
Add to the mix the venerable age of the cache (just read the years of online logs) and it's clear that it's one that everyone will need to try, just to test their mettle and to experience living geocaching history. Some longtime Sydney area cachers already have this logging under their belts from past efforts, but recent finds have been few indeed, since it became known that WP1 was lost.
What a great day! I'm starting to approach 400 caches (GC plus GCA) and this one is definitely in my top ten. I recommend that everyone try it. Many thanks go of course to COs EcoTeam#6 -- who are now apparently out of the geocaching business. And thanks also to tronador for re-creating WP1 to allow the cache to rise from the ashes. That was a great deed of kindness. And finally, thanks to Yurt for his ongoing efforts to publicise less-found and somewhat forgotten caches. Without his enthusiasm and support I might never have attempted this one.
(I'll upload a few photos tonight, when I get a bit more time, and will add some comments to my pictures.)

Postscript!
For the first time, I exceeded the 4000 character maximum length for log entries . . . I guess I'm very excited about this one.
Anyhow, here's what I edited out of my previous 'Found' log:
In fact, as I've written earlier, I discovered quite a few useful clues in the logs that made WP1 someone easier than I expected. It was a lot of work, of course, but at least I was fairly confident that I was looking in the right place. (I think I wore the knees off my trousers!)
WP2, on the other hand, was the most difficult part of the multi. I didn't locate many useful clues in the logs and -- despite Yurt's recent reports -- assumed that everyone else had found it with ease. I think the old original WP2 'cache' is still in place and doesn't seem to have been changed at all after all these years. It's a little hard to read, but you can indeed read it. No climbing is required but a certain degree of -- let's say, 'agility' -- is needed to access it. I was prepared to find my GPSr next to useless the nearer I got to WP1 (and you'll immediately see this for yourself, and understand why) but I had expected WP2 to be much better in this regard. But the satellites just wouldn't seem to settle down. After more than 40 minutes of hanging around what turned out to be WP2, however, I put my Oregon 300 down adjacent to 'the place' while I retrieved the final GZ coordinates -- with a bit of difficulty. Ten minutes later, when I picked up the unit again, it was reading '2'! So the satellites finally settled and gave me good info on WP2. Hope the same happens for you! But don't count on it . . .
GZ proved to be more of a physical adventure. I was still worried about the coordinates overnight, but knew they pointed to a very likely place. I just kept fretting that I'd mis-read them, due to the awkward nature of what I'd have to term 'the viewing procedure' at WP2. Some impatient and gung-ho geocachers have obviously gained access to GZ 'the hard way' but I'm old enough to want to find 'the easy way' whenever possible. tronador clearly found this route and so did I -- after a bit of searching. When you get to know 'the big thing' at the centre of this geocache, you'll eventually realise that such a trail must exist. I will say no more. But, in truth, finding the 'big black bucket' won't be the hardest part of your task. WP1 and WP2 will be the challenge.
Good luck, everyone!

This is a 'progress' report on my efforts towards solving this ancient, legendary geocaching puzzle!
I felt both very smart and very stupid within the same hour, while toiling away 'under the shadow' of the enormous concrete 'structure' that dominates this scene like the Great Pyramid of Giza!
First, I was very pleased with myself that I successfully mined enough information from all the ancient online logs to work out more or less where WP1 must be hidden. It took a lot of 'nose to the grindstone' search-work on the day, of course, but WP1 was indeed where I expected it to be. And the published coordinates were actually accurate.
Fresh from congratulating myself, I arrived at the apparent WP2 site. (This 'site' kept shifting mysteriously about 20 metres this way and that, as the satellites sailed high above the 'structure' and peered down through the thick gum trees.) I immediately suspected that the 'object' I was looking for would be similar to that found at WP1. But where was it, exactly? Time ticked by. I was on my lunch hour. I had to get back to work. I finally decided to PAF in the person of my mentor Yurt, who had most recently put in the 'hard yards' on this geocache. Not one to give too much away, he confirmed my general area of search. Eventually, though, I gave up and started back to the GeoBuru. But I wanted to see the 'site' from just one more angle, from down a bit lower, and as I peered beneath my sweaty eyebrows I saw something -- as we say -- 'out of place.' But it didn't look like what I thought I was looking for -- not at first. Nevertheless, it was WP2.
So there you have the progress report. I have in my hands at this moment the final GZ 'One in a Hundred' coordinates and will drive there tomorrow, full of hope and enthusiasm!

Gotcha! You tricky little beggar! With thanks to tronador for putting me in the right hemisphere I went for a stroll when in the area this morning and made the find after about five minutes. I have to say that it was still not easy to find and took a little athleticism to obtain the info - no climbing though as the CO states. I also had to do some cleaning to remove some flood residue. This would make a great tale to tell here but I'd give too much away. I've returned it to where it was and it now appears more obvious than before but maybe that's just me. Anyway I now have the final coords so will return within 24 hours with the geoson to complete the deal!
