Logs
The nearby highway was full of cars. the local streets were full of school kids but GZ was deserted, making the search quick and easy
Found it a couple of weeks ago and logged it however forgot to tell the app we found it
Found it! Thanks for this sneaky hide, MandyLou. Catching up on some late logs. Signed and replaced as found. TFTC
DNF after a long search and having not been logged for 11 months I think it is gone.
TFTC this was a nice quick park and grab. I signed the log and replaced it as our found it.
This took us wauy to long to find an easy one. Could have been the greenants putting me off. As we were searching, 2 cars pulled up and headed over towards us. Asking if they were fellow cachers, I was told "no. My wife is Thai and there are some useful plants growing over there" as he points in the bush direction. He was curious about what we were up to. When I gave the "found" cry, he came over to ask a little more. With his interest of our little pursuit, he left telling the family all about the gsme. We eventually found the little blighter. Lid of tin is snapped off, but still fits. Tin rusted. Log damp. Very wet bag. Signed our names and put back. Tftc
Were hoping this would be our 200th find. Stunning tree but after fruitlessly taking leaf litter for quite a while we concede defeat. Only mozzie bites to take away from this one. We’re rooted. Time to jog home.
Out for the morning with Wollaston and Dawickedwaiz (finding their 100th!) here for a flying visit to Cairns.
Thanks to CO’s for taking time to set out and maintain hides and for showing us your very special part of the world

On our way back from Mossman Gorge and thought we’d do a few caches on the way. Very well hidden

Quick and easy find on our bike ride between Palm Cove and Earls Hill and return. Happy Twos-day. 22/2/22. TFTC
A quick almost drive by as we head for Trinity Beach. A bit of scratching needed before we realised the GPSr was more accurate than the hint.
We’re currently staying at Kewarra in our caravan with our niece and her family having escaped the winter and Covid lockdowns back home in Victoria. Decided that today we would drive up to Port Douglas and check out all the lovely little spots we have just driven by on our previous visits. A lovely bonus to find quite a few caches as we travelled. Thanks to all the local CO’s for placing and maintaining them.

Thank goodness for waterproof logs because the cache was filled with water. My first find in the Cairns region
Found it but brought a pencil instead of a pen. Popped it back for the next person
Found 8:50
Finally made the short trek to the cache which is my closest to home
The baby needed to sleep & rain had cleared so was good to stretch the legs.
Easy fund, soaking wet log but you have the special paper, so was all good

I went on a week long trip to Cairns to escape the Canberra region and do a little diving and some exploration with caching to keep me busy. The warm weather was refreshing after the Canberra winter. As usual after flying up there was lots of walking but it was great to be out. Day 4. After a few days Diving I had two days to spend before my next trip. I hired a car and went on a bit of a trip after some early caching around Cairns and the Northern beaches. First stop was Kuranda, then Mareeba, Mt Molloy and down to Pt Douglas for dinner.
Plenty of spots to search, but as there were road works last time I was up here this way, I was happy to spend the time it took to find.
Thanks for the cache MandyLou25

Out caching with Walter and Ingrid and we stopped to attempt to locate this cache. We also took the time to conduct some CITO and left not only with our names in the cache log, but with a bag of rubbish. Thanks for this hide MandyLou.
Found while driving home, after circling the tree a few times we spotted it. There were a few ants but tftc.
This find was easier than anticipated! However, there had been many more things to be found. Wazza&Kara considered those as rubbish and took everything to be found for the rubbish collection. TFTC
Left kookaburra and headed up here the rain stopped but still no human muggles qef tftc
Today we found Roots of Kewarra on our travels. We are visiting from Melbourne. Don’t you love it when you walk up to a GZ and see the cache straight away. A quick sign and we were on our way to the airport.
Thanks MandyLou25 for being part of our geocaching fun.

An afternoon of caching with Team Bombas. This was a nice quick one to find in such a busy area. TFTC
Our final find on our way home from our geocaching adventures. Thanks for a good one
Staying in Palm Cove for a few days. Hired bikes and made our way down to Trinity Beach today, using the off-road cycleways as much as possible. Located a few caches along the way including this one. Managed to find it more quickly than expected. Sometimes there’s a certain element of luck involved, I suspect! #2592. TFTC.

After doing 3 laps around GZ without spotting this cache I had to give it away when a carload of people stopped for a smoke break right beside me........
will be back
will be back
We looked a while for this one but looks like there is a lot of activity going on, rubbish and swing strings, so we couldn't find it.
Woohoo, 3 from 3! FTF: 1120, 23/11/2018. Thanks Mandylou for the caches, it’s been fun, if a whirlwind visit. Left a pathtag & looking fwd to the next exciting installment TFTC!0
