I was in Morningside this morning to test drive a Ford Ranger (which I think I'm going to buy). This was a nice quick find on my way home.Thanks!!#3683
Im in Brisbane for a work trip and decided to grab a couple while out and about. Many thanks to handshow for placing and maintaining Beverley Street Park (Morningside Parks #1). I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.
#10 and last one for today! Found a nice new tennis ball on the walk over - makes a change from the usual rubbish! Thanks handshow for this cache!
handshow I found your cache Beverley Street Park (Morningside Parks #1) on 29/11/2023, 4:40pm. This is my find 6267 and find # 12 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.
Decided to hit a few around Morningside and surrounds as I had an appointment over this way.
After reading some logs I change my perception of what I was looking for and soon found it.

Nice walking around Morningside park caches at night. Found it with flashlight. Hint didn’t help. Better to say magnetic. Regards from Czechia. TFTC.
Trying to find a few more caches today before the storm hit, I pulled up near gz and headed over to see what I could find. Noting a DNF or two, I quickly assessed things and figured it might be elsewhere. I found this one under leaf litter on the ground. Replaced in logical spot given the fixings on the container.
Thanks handshow for the cache.
Thanks handshow for the cache.
Came her after dark and that plus the abundance of spiders made me call of the hunt, gonna go back soon to look again tho
Another nice slice of park. This one freshly mowed and quite green.
The GPS wasn’t much help here but previous logs were. After reading a few, it became obvious whereabouts the cache should be and that helped locate it close by.

When we pulled up I was sure that I had been to this exact park before. In fact I’m sure there was a cache in the opposite corner of the park but my memory has become a little jaded over time like remembering to feed the dog or the kids.
Being close to the houses we cached like quiet mouses because whenever has a mouse scared you with a loud shriek. The loud shriek usually occurs when your wife and daughter see one.
The caches magnets still seem to work but they weren’t attached to anything. Rather than seek out a better spot we returned it to where it was found. tftc

I had a DNF here way back and have finally returned. There were some surveyors around and a muggle arrived for a smoke on the bench but I was more worried about potentially getting swooped by birds.
Still, I followed the arrow and kept my feet dry (big rain around this morning) and found the cache without issue.
On my way out, I was reminded of other geo adventures following the easement down past the tennis centre… a long time ago now.
TFTC where all is fine.

Being a lazy Sunday, we decided upon a plan to check on a couple of my caches at Kangaroo Point then head to Mobray Park for a relaxing lunch while listening to the Band in the Park, then spend the afternoon caching around the Bulimba area for a few green dots placed since our last endeavours in that area.
Nice almost secretive Park. Not any more!
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 2:55 PM on October 10, 2021. TFTC, handshow

Took a detour on my way home from work to find this cache. Looked in the wrong places first before I finally spotted this cache. Nice little park . Thankyou for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy .
Had a few moments after the gym to have another look at this one was very pleased to reach around and out my hands in the little container.

Been to the nearby courts many times over the years with school tennis. All quiet around gz. Tftc
This evening, jesswrigley and I headed to Bulimba for a house inspection, and then spent a little time in walking around the town village area whilst also stopping at *Heritage Listed Sites in Bulimba* Adventure Lab Locations.
This was our first cache find of the evening, and it turned out to be a quiet and nice park. After searching around for five minutes, I discovered the nice hiding place for this cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. The coordinates turned out to be reasonably accurate for where we ended up finding it. Thanks handshow for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

I've thought about meandering off the typical road to the office a number of times so I could pick this up, but never did anything about it. Different today as I set off from home a little earlier with full intent to grab a couple of icons on the run in.
At GZ, it was all nice and quiet so I was free to wander in and scout around. The GPS was a little bouncy and I started the hunt about 4-5m out, but soon realised I should probably focus my energy around "there"...
A small offset to the location and voila, container in hand. Nice... [^]
Cheers handshow.

I had some time to kill today and what else is there to do when you find yourself in this situation but grab some caches. With the GPS directing me to all the wrong places I let my geosenses take over and had the cache in hand rather quickly. Tftc handshow
Out and about for a quick hunt session with Caveman9614. Started looking just as it started to rain, but luckily (after terrible driving directions!) we made a quick discovery, log signed and headed back to the car. TFTC!
1st of 5 for today.
1st of 5 for today.
After a few street Navigation errors from me we soon were in the right place and had the cache in hand. Cache in good condition! TFTC!
Out for the day with Peppa - my turn to make the find this time. Fairly quick and easy. Thanks for the cache
Found the cache safe and dry before wandering over for lunch at the nearby table. TFTC
Find the cache safely tucked away before heading over to enjoy lunch at the tables.TFTC handshow
Once I neared GZ, memories came back of a search here a while ago, but up the other end of the park. The cache may have been missing at that time or it's very possible we had a bad day searching, but either way it was an easy find here today!

We were in this area today and thought we’d have a look for this one, but at GZ there were people just over the fence line and we felt a little too conspicuous to make a good search, so decided to move on. Perhaps we can come back another time.
Thanks handshow

Out for the day with nikid1 on our last outing for the near future. Still raining but only lightly, the park had developed a nice little river tho, managed to make our way around it & keep our feet dry. Cache was found in pretty much the first place I looked for a change!

Out in the rain with KerriMG. After jumping over the running water we got to GZ and made a quick find. TFTC.
Tried to redeem my DNF to no avail. But I got to see some cheeky butcher birds and a hive of native bees in the retaining wall. So not all bad.

Out and about today with Chamad hunting down some caches to finish off January.
We started by the RBWH and made our way all over the place.
All in all, a great day hunting.
Encounter a dead bat at GZ

The area was quiet. I remembered searching for the previous location with no luck.
This time it was a short search as I gradually widened my search area.

A piece of playground equipment has sprung up quite close to the location of the original cache (which has been stolen - sigh), so I have put the replacement on the other side of the park. Coordinates have been updated to reflect the new location. Fingers crossed that this one lasts a bit longer.
I checked on this one as part of my maintenance outing today. Yep, another one stolen. A piece of playground equipment has also sprung up quite close to the original cache location, so I have put the replacement on the other side of the park. I’m not able to check this cache for a couple of weeks. I’ll disable it for now until I get back from overseas.
got a pm back from my paf a couple of caches later
yeah we should have seen that
really hope it was just cache blindness
but I think this mystery museum is going to lead to lots of maintenance

Found it. Searched for a long time for this then Aussie Clarke came up with the goods.
Definitely need to be standing in the right spot to see this one. Smart hide.

Not really a "Found it" rather stumbled across it after a long and tiring search with a brief shower thrown in.
Cache is resting outside the temporary fencing, no inquisitive workers there today. Caching blindness has finally set in so time to move on.

A bit of a wimp-out from me, I admit. The deluge yesterday has washed out the garden bed. I think I will get wet and muddy if I look around here, so I’ll come back another time.
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers, Remsjw and Lisylou). Sneaky hide. TFTC!
Found with bennyboppers jemillalucy mnance and remsjw today. Took a little searching but all good here. Tftc
After searching for a while, we discovered a not so friendly looking lizard and possum so we decided to come back during the day
I had some time to spare and needed some caches to inch me closer to achieving 4000 by July!
These seemed like a perfect option!
Great caches, and great placements! I look forward to finding the rest of the series

Another shift, another stroll. I parked near this one today. At first my GPSr had me on the grass, but then it settled and pointed in a more promising direction. A bit of a hunt around and the cache was spied.
Back in the daylight and Joe had gone on his merry way, no toad remains either. My phone bounced around a fair bit then I got really serious and waited for it to settle completely and got readings up to 3 mtrs so I put my phone down and let the eyes do the searching. Just about to give up and spied a suspect item, yes the one I so badly need. Signed log and replaced cache as found. TFTC
I have to make this a DNF only because when I got near GZ Joe Blow was lying there with a toad stuck in his mouth and it was too big for him to swallow it so I thought I would return when it was not dark. I don't want to encounter his friends too.
While on our way to Fort Lytton from the city, Snickersallan and I stopped here to grab another cache by handshow.
GPS finally settled and after checking all likely hides, found the wee thing.
SL then returned as found.

Out with stortigirls to collect a few caches. Our phones certainly didn't like it here! We gave up waiting for them to settle and began searching. Eventually, stortigirls looked from the right angle and spotted the cache. With our names added to the log and everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Selva Girls and I approached gz, and after reading a couple of logs, knew where we should look. A bit of a hunt as is usual with this type of hide, before the right angle was found and I spotted the container. Tftc handshow
Next up, Bodhi and I strolled into this park which was a bit bigger than I expected. I saw a man just leave and I wondered if he was a geocacher?
Out with Brother Colin again
We both needed all of this little series so headed over to the area. This one gave us some grief as we both searched the right spot and missed the cache. A PAF soon put us straight, and that sure is a tiny container. TFTC, handshow.
