I think this was my third visit here, and the other times it was missing. Today, I found the cache in about 2 seconds #humblebrag. I'm thankful that I thought of taking a TOTT along with me. Cheers
Well, this one was a tough one. We looked high and low, nooks and crannies, so many spots that looked to be he obvious place to be. The eagle eyes of doddlingalong finally hit the spot. TFTC
Got to gz quickly and then the circles started, round and round we went, sticking our noses into every little hollow and crevice and gap and anything else we could find! Hmm, tricky....was this going to be our first DNF for the day? Nah, can't let that happen! Another scouring of the area...and then....hmm...aah gotcha, very tricky little sucker
Well this is A DNF Redemption! the most satisfying really. Determined to find today on a rare day out caching. Thanks to tidder for some guidance. A really really sneaky cache. Much care needs to be taken to replace cache for sure. Trust coords. Look everywhere. point for camoRegardskbucky
We continued on our way until we reached this spot where even cygnus3333 seemed interested in trying to find this one (she's more muggle than cacher alas!) Checking various spots the GPS was sure about GZ being there and on the second search something caught my eye and there it was - tricky!
Checked on this cache yesterday after some recent DNF's.Sadly it has gone missing from its hidden spot.I will replace this cache within the next week. Thanks
Hmmm. Just too tricky for us. Spotted a likely location but nothing there. Will try again another day.
This one had me scratching my head for a while as in true tidder fashion it was designed by an evil caching mind that deserves yet another favourite point. Thanks again for your quality hides
Wow, this one has us spinning around in circles. Many many laps of GZ and in the final seconds, located the little impostor. We were very excited to find this one, and saying it blends into the environment is 100% accurate. TFTC.
Set out today to walk some circuits and a few others on the way. this being one of them.
No luck today, the duck stays stuck!

This was our nemesis cache of the day. Initially Rebel Acts and I walked away defeated. Even with the hint and the spot of GPS, we were clueless to were the cache was hidden. After a good 20 hmm, maybe a 30-minute search, we walked away, ready to place a sad face on the board. Actually It would have been RA 2nd DNF for this cache. But with some added information, we later returned as the days light was fading. This cache Wins the nasty nasty award for the day...even after finding and signing the log we both stood back shaking our heads. Wow favourite point for sneakiness well played tidder.
Out and about with Tiz13 today to clean up a few caches, it's getting harder to find unfound caches near home so this was the chosen destination for the day, My only mission is turning caches in to smiles and cleaning the map up of any unfound.
This is one of the cache found today. After having two DNF's on this one it was good to return and find the evil hide thanks to the CO for the extra hint.
Thanks tidder For the cache.

I headed out with Coops today to find some of the local caches that were closest.
We decided to the caches in the reserve and had a great time exploring the area.
A few of the caches were quite hard to find but we found them all in the end.
Thanks tidder.

Our with Ms SmokeyBear in an adventure night where we turn day caching into night time shenanigans! Sadly though. This one eluded us. To be tried again!
Out and about with pimpmyballoons for my mothers day geo day out to achieve my 10,000th. We have been in this area before and a 2nd go at this one. While partner was on the phone I had a change to check out all the cavities and got it. Excellent hide here. If it makes me come back it deserves a favorite. Cache in good condition. Thanks for bringing us back tidder
Out for a mother's Day adventure with xambo4u
Needed to return to this one as was a do not find in the past.
Finally had this one in hand and got rid of that pesky DNF

An evening stroll after finding my torch at the "nearby" Jackspeak" cache and dropping a traveller in the LBH down the road.
This one took a lot longer to find but eventually my caching *PIC* spotted something *NQR*.
The cache was then retrieved and signed.
A pleasant stroll around the reserve to the sounds of the night.
Not sure what some of them were; not sure I want to. lol
Thanks for the cache and the series tidder.

After finding n0w0rries' lost torch and completing the Mail Run, the suggestion was made to go for a walk in this bit of bushland before heading home.
Following the trail from #2, another search by torchlight... it took a few sweeps, but suddenly, I thought I could... Aha!
Another neatly nasty placement, tidder

Geez this was hard. I spent way too long here on my first attempt and walked away with my tail between my legs. I scoured the previous logs and it left me even more confused so after no luck, I continued on the loop.
I went back for a second attempt more determined than ever. My gps had been pretty accurate this morning so I trusted this and went back to the location that made the most sense, even though I had searched here a lot. Now on my hands and knees it still took a while before I spotted it.
Victory - but you little bugger!!

Last time here after I couldn’t find it. The CO checked on it while in the area for checking on another one and told me yes it is still in position. Came back this afternoon this time with the Geokids and Geogirl found it very quickly.
My first DNF for the night. I’m sending a photo to the CO of where I think it should be to see if I’m correct that it may be missing.
Did not locate it after looking around for a good 20mis at coordinates and sourindings. Will be back another day.
Checked on this one today after previous find found it on the ground and seemed confused as to where it should be hidden. Anyway finally found it about 8 metres away. Now all replaced and in original spot.
Thanks
Thanks
Came here twice after a battery failure! Finally found the container on the ground so not sure about the cavity bit. I was on the wrong side of the fence for way too long. Here in Melbs for another carers stint with mum and lucky me has timed it to dodge rain drops. Not sure I’d have come here except for the clutch of caches incentive but so glad I did …very nice and very fun to be in a totally different habitat. The multi mission planned includes 400 on the Mornington Peninsula that might be easy for locals.. The real challenge for it though will be GZ that oddly enough is at an altitude far from here. Cache found easily. TFTC and the fun!
Checked on this cache today after 2 recent DNF's.
Yes it was still in place and in good order.

Sadly we were unable to find this one today.
Spent 20 minutes looking around and feel like we know the style that these caches have been created in so feel like we know what we should be looking for.
Both GPS took us to a very very obvious spot but just couldn't get our hands on it
Will need to come back another day

Taken a while to log this one. Found with family on a great little outing on the other side of the peninsula. TFTC!
Glad to say I’ve changed this from a DNF to a Found It. Tried this a fair while back.
Checked this one today and cache has definitely disappeared . New log sheet and container back in place.
Loving this series of caches! Really had to think outside of the box - thank you!
Cache found empty on ground. Needs maintenance. We wrote on a leaf and placed it inside. Put it in a hole in the sawn off tree branch. Not sure where it was supposed to be.
Found at 2:57 pm.
It's nice be able to go out caching again and today I invited anyone who wanted to come along and even geowife and 2 geokids said they would tag along which was handy because they managed to find a few before I did.
The weather was looking a bit dodgy but the rain held off right until the end when we ran out of time and had to go back to run our restaurant. I love it when that happens.
I lived in Pearcedale for nearly 20 years and have never ventured into this area. These sections of bushland are really nice and today it was so quiet and totally still with no wind and was awesome to walk around especially with some of these cool cache hides.
We only saw 2 dog walking muggles the whole time we were in the 2 reserves.
I was impressed, my geokid found this immediately on arrival. It's because it's close to the ground that's my excuse for not winning the find.
Thanks tidder for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Nearly gave up on this one, couldn't get gps to settle but looking with hands and eyes got this awesome little cache. Fun and frustrating. Tftc
Today we tackled this trail finding a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks tidder for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I was sure this was on a particular tree but after ten minutes of nothing turning up, I went to another to have a look and then back to the same one and still nothing. I then went back over to the other one and that's when my eye caught something that seemed like something of interest from a short distance away. Getting closer, I knew it was the cache, because what else could it be? Very very sneaky and almost invisible! There's also the factor of how well you replace it may determine how difficult it is for the next finder. I did my best in replacing it.
Thanks a lot tidder.
Thanks a lot tidder.
After a 40 + degree day yesterday, a lovely 24 degrees today. On the way home i decided to have a go at this series.
I went to do the multi, but the track to WP2 was overgrown and a bit to snakey for my liking.
I continued along the track up to the intersection, had a look around, found an old restorer to consider, then made a quick find.
thanks tidder for a great little circuit.
Cheers BWBandit

*Cache find # 10261.*
Today I headed over this way to take a look at this series, it was a great walk around the sandy tracks that took me on a loop around this reserve.
Even though this one is half a star less on the D rating than #2, I found it harder to find.
At first the GPS had me on one side of the track but all I found there was a decoy, whether it is meant to be or not, eventually after going in circles for a little while something caught my eye and on closer inspection I them found the cache, a tricky little sucker.
With this one it all depends on how its replaced to how hard it will be for the next person to find.
**Thanks to tidder for placing this cache.**

This was my first find for the morning, feeling lucky cause of the nice breeze I wasnt covered in mozzies. The official GC app, was a bit useless here, I think the tree's confused it, so I started using my new app 'Geooh Go' and I went straight to the right place and found it within 2 mins.
As I started logging my find the wonderful CO appeared just like magic! After chatting for a bit I went off for the next one...

After a family gathering at the nearby Moonlit Sanctuary, I hit the cache trail for a few hours. Thwarted by reservation closure up at NWCR, I came down here to tackle the TFR series. After a DNF at #2 (thankfully it seems I'm not the only one!), I was very happy to find this one. But it was a tricky little sucker, cleverly concealed. I flitted around all the nearby trees, not too sure how accurate the GPS would be in the squally weather, but in the end the GPS was pretty accurate. I did need to read some past logs for clues, and found what I needed to finally figure it out! TFTC, tidder.
Around and around and around we went looking looking. Nyochi did what someone else did... moved her backpack and then voila. Nice hide.
I went the long way around I think but still did ok. It had me walking in circles until I saw the obvious signs. TFTC

Find # 686
Back to turn a frown upside down. Mission complete.
I'd literally checked 6 inches away, when 10 seconds later Miss Womblet cries, 'got it!'
Another sneaky hide. You're good at this .

Oh no, a micro in the bush. Not my fav type of cache!!
Surprisingly this one showed itself rather quickly
After the disappointment and DNF at #2 I was more than pleased to have this one in hand
And a micro to boot! Many thanx to tidder

"TFR #3 - it just feels lonely. I mean, you've got other caches with cool names like 'Chopped' or 'Crack the Code' but this just gets #3. You've earned my sympathy TFR #3."
------
The TFR series continued with a nice easy one for #3.
Initially, we were looking in all the wrong spots and found nothing but a cool tree.
After repositioning myself and stepping back to look at everything, I found something that looked suspiciously like it had a cache attached to it.
Sure enough, there it was.
Nicely placed and all in good order.
Signed log, replaced and admired the cool tree for a bit before moving on.
Thanks tidder for placing this!

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
I’m currently working on a Project-GC challenge to get the average word count on my logs over 200 words.
So please ignore the rest of this log as it is just nonsense and song lyrics.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy
Thanks for the cache

I walked straight past as my gps had me on other side of fence. frmen1 was more accurate. Did a lap and something wasn't quite right. So it looks like I packed not only my geobrain today, but my geoeyes too! Tftc
Out and about last night with Trailstevo, switching our normal Sunday night out to a Saturday as our wives and kids decided it was movie night. I've had my eye on a few little series of cache in the Hasting area and with an early evening escape possible off we trot.
We tackled the NWCR series first. Pretty sure I had been hear before caching, but no smileys on the map so guess they are long gone. We strolled along the sandy path for around 3km and really enjoyed the variety of cache here. A couple had us hunting around a little harder but we go there.
Then down the road to the TFR series, and again a lice walk and variety of hides and our first DNF. We will pop back another day to clean that one up.
Then we drove across to the Aladdin series collecting a number great multi's an da few drive by trads.
I think we ended up with over 30 finds. Thanks to Tidder, SnuggleBunnies, Boris&Natasha, Braniac03, BushwalkingBandit & Epsilon Crucis for the fun night out.

Big night of caching with Gunks. Must've found around 30. Next onto the TFR series. One DNF with multiple possibilities, but another great group of hides. TFTC
Having previously enjoyed another tidder trail, NWCR, this one has been on the wishlist since it was published. Just what we like, a walk in a reserve on a fine Sunday. So, after the obligatory coffee to start the day, we set off with the Rogdels .... and, first, a failed start at #1 then a definite DNF at #2. What will happen here? But it was a Find! Phew! At last we can say thanks for the bringing us here, tidder. TNLNSL.
Out with Dicksontwo to collect a few more stats. No luck for us at TFR #2 so decided to move on to this one with the hope of an easier find and therefore relieve our frustration. Well sighted by Mrs RogDel. TFTC.
Find #4900
Had an early morning caching run to check out this relatively new series. The day was forecast to hit over 40 degrees so it was good to be here before 6.30am and catch a nice cool part of the day. I had taken a look at #2 but didn't make the find there so I carried on to this one. Had me scratching my head for a while but then I read something in a previous log that gave me an idea and I concentrated in on where the GPS was pointing me to. I saw something glint in the morning sunlight and shortly after I had the cache in hand. Got a god idea of the container type that I was looking for in this series. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series tidder.

Today was my first caching adventure of 2019 and I chose these caches that were released while I was over 1,000 km away. Got here very early, but not extremely early as it wasn't dark, but still before most people were up.
Sometimes approaching from the right angle is all you need. Found this cache straight away.
Thanks for the cache tidder

This definitely took longer than it should. As we approached GZ, Chiefton Snr placed his pack down. Then we started our search. We searched and searched. After some time, we were about to call it quits, when Chiefton Snr picked up his gear, and shouted "Doh! Found it." Very sneaky indeed, tidder. TFTC tidder.

**Traditional Cache Find #2275**
I had just returned from collecting 3 wardrobes that I'd bought off Facebook when my phone went 'ping' and I saw new caches had been published. I grabbed my caching bag and hit the road. Michael left to return home after the last cache and so I was now on my own. I checked places that I had scrutinised only a couple of days ago but still nothing. I re-read the cache page and sitting back, noticed something that was worthy of further investigation. It was the hide. Very well camo'ed but I really should have found it on my first attempt, it really wasn't that difficult. Very happy to have turned a previous DNF into a smiley.

Very well camo'ed but I really should have found it on my first attempt, it really wasn't that difficult. Very happy to have turned a previous DNF into a smiley.

*10 Dec 2018, Found @3:50 pm, Find # 2301.*
Having finally found #2 in this series, Bufuhguh and I headed back to this one. Well It seems I was looking in the right place the first time I was here. I can't take the credit for this one though, It was Michael who was telling some story when he spun around, and laid his hand on it. Now that was sneaky, even after the cache was replaced I still had to look twice to see where it was. Wow another great cache I just have to give this one a favourite.
**Thanks to tidder for placing this cache you certainly kept me entertained this afternoon.**
