Found by Mary and David at 09:35. What a great road. Pity about the termites just under the container. A FP for the wonderful country vegetation. Our thanks to Now_To_Morrow.
What a great track to drive along! Sure the residents thought we were looking for a place to camp so decided to hightail out as soon as we could. Day 5 of my travels heading across towards Barrington Tops before making my way to the 2024 Canberra Geobash. Thanks Now_To_Morrow for placing this here, contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy.
A great drive in the rain & a quick and easy find. Nice to see some familiar names on the decent logbook! Decent pot. Found on the Mega Capital Geobash coastal loop via Adelaide - Barrington - coast to Mexico City loop. A lot of caches and white line fever was sweated out. Thanks Now_To_Morrow and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Headed to Dubbo today to take part in the Dubbo Stampede, and after a tour of the zoo was done, we stopped by this one on the way home. Once at GZ, the great sized cache container was quickly spotted.

Found It!
I came in from the south-east end, found the cache then tried to go out the north-west end. But that was blocked by a lot of water so I had to do a U-turn and go back to the other end.

Found on our way to Dubbo today. Had ideas of travelling right through on this road but it got a bit to muddy for the geo mobile so back the way we come for this one. Thanks. Quick find at GZ.
#13535 - 2:24:00 PM; Day one of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. The plan for the day is to cache our way north to Coonamble and camp the night. The weather intervened, so we headed further north to Walgett and a warm bed there. Collected caches along the way, including this one, which was found in good condition after a quick trip down a side road off the highway. All logs were signed L.L10n and Sdl or vice versa. TFTC No_Tomorrow
It was day one of a road trip to Townsville with LuckyL10n and this was our next stop. Good to get off the main road, which some folk don't do, and find this good size cache. No real issues at GZ and LL made a quick find. Log was quickly and we off up the road for the next one.
Thanks for another one No Tomorrow....

We got to give the 4th drive good work out finding this one after a weeks worth of rain. Cheers for the cache
# 7487 In Dubbo for the weekend with iPlod65, this time being shown around the town's geocaches. Lovely spring-like conditions which makes a nice change from Canberra.

Day trip from Parkes to get some AL and Caches. Nice drive to this one. TFTC No Tomorrow
We were not 100% certain that we were on the right path but then bam! Cache in hand. TFTC
We opted not to take the 4WD track and instead walked in the short way from the highway. Not a great or recommended choice! A straight forward find, which is exactly what we would expect for the size of the cache.
Our first full day in Dubbo started slowly as we took some time to relax and catch up, but inevitably we headed out to do some sightseeing and of course caching. It was a marvellous day with clear skies and little wind. The sun on our backs felt wonderful, the day being as good as it actually looked.
We finished a few puzzles we had solved in advance and came across a few good hides as well as some good sized caches.
Thank you to the local COs for their efforts in hiding and maintaining the caches.

Found with Mrs Oz KEG on our way home from a far western NSW holiday, grabbed TB, TFTC.
9926 Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with Hans & Linda and muff1 at 1430. Had to access the hide from the east end owing to there being lots of water under the rail bridge. Now that is some garden pot to grow a cache in.SL Tnx No_Tomorrow
We are slowly making our way north to Queensland, and as we need to sit out the rain and the closed roads we decided to go caching with Hans&Linda and baby&Mrsgopher. This cache was not in play the last time we were past here so we felt an obligation to find it. We tried to access the cache from the end of the road closest to Dubbo but when we saw the amount of water there we drove further up the road and we soon found a road that looked far more attractive. We wonder if the locals wonder why so many cars go down this track?

TFTC. We had been at Eumungerie hunkering down from the recent rain. A fine day today and we decided to stay out for another day. muff1 were also at Eumungerie and babyandMrs gopher were in Dubbo. We arranged to meet at the Zoo for some Adventure Labs and caching. A great day with good friends. No DNFs and muff1 got to convert a blue face to a smilie.
Great location. Care required when choosing entry at eastern end as there are two tracks almost side by side. Excellent container and no trouble opening it.
easy find, tricky to get to though, did it in a ford falcon.... somehow. do not recommend you do it in a low 2wd if your driving from dubbo way

A great day for geocaching. Lid was a bit tricky, but with persistence I was able to open it. Lots of fun swaps in this one. Found trackable and will move it on.
We found the cache easily but we think the lid is cross threaded and we could not budge it. We have photo evidence of the find. My hands are tiny and someone with bigger hands might have more success.
I decided to chance the lane coming in from the south and it proved to be easily managed by the old Mazda. putting us metres from GZ. We returned the same way, not knowing the condition of the northern section. Thanks No-Tomorrow for the hide, but I am wondering just how you found this very isolated location.
Great cache. Lovely and clean toys inside and clean dry log book. Out geocaching today with Magpie Cottage. Another great find. Thanks for hiding this cache for our enjoyment No_Tomorrow
The tree growing alongside the cache won't be hindered by the cache, but only limited by the 'pot'. It's doing okay now that there's been rain.

Yes, I know, there is an easy way, and a hard way to access this one, and after all the rain we have had, the hard way, become the almost impossible way, prevail I did, albeit with a bit more colour to the skin and jeans.
#2146 Second of eight quick finds on my drive back to Sydney after a few days in Dubbo. TFTC
What a novel place to hide a cache. I enjoyed finding this one at night by torchlight. Last one for the day.

Orange 2020 Day 2. I headed out for a long weekend away with Fitzy1965 & MinnieK to cache between Orange and Dubbo. We explored forests and towns and camped at Macquarie Wood. The weather was great and we managed to visit many more caches than I ever expected. After a leisurely start to the morning we climbed into the car to head to Dubbo, but it took all day to get there via Orange, Manildra, Parks and Tomingly.
Thanks.

fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out for a long weekend away. Basing ourselves at Macquarie Woods, we ended up visiting Orange, Parkes, Dubbo and lots of towns inbetween.
Day 2 saw us head out from our campsite and rambling up towards Dubbo.....14 hours later we were back at camp.
Quick find here today.

A plan was hatched for the three of us to head up this way for some quality caching over the 3 days. Day 2 and we headed off for further adventures. Next stop of the day - and this was a fun drive in and a quick find today once at GZ.
Thanks No_Tomorrow !! Can't believe there were only 18 finds before us !

Checked on cache. Looking good. The 2 trees there aren't though. One is kapoot. I'm surprised the other is surviving this drought...so far.
out meeding our newest grand child at dubbo base so a bit more caching was in order , so went along this dusty road forever till the GPS said 3 mts looked over at the only posability , and wasnt disappointed , nice cache thanks for puting these out
Embarked on a 8 day road trip with the family. Ended up being 2500 kilometres, leaving from Beaudesert and staying in Goondiwindi, Eumungerie, Bathurst, Sydney, Colo, Tamworth and Stanthorpe. Lots of caches (well as many as the geopartner would let me get, also as many as she noticed. She seemed to forget a lot that she was my navigator and would quite often forget to tell me when one was coming up - Quite often!)
Anyway, this was day 4, second cache for the day. It's been years since I've been down here, that long ago it was before I started caching. Yesterday was zoo day, today we packed up camp and heading south east. Heading towards Bathurst today. After finding the one nearby in the forest, went the back ways through the town on heading into Dubbo.
Saw my favourite words of 4WD access here and I just had to go have a look. Kids had a blast banging over the dirt road but there was so much rubbish!. Cache was quickly found whilst circumnavigating the rubbish and we continued on. Bouncing our way across the dirt before getting the one just up the road.
It was in great condition and thanks for the cache No_tomorrow, This makes find #611

My first day caching in Dubbo while I am down here for the next 12 days. Decided to go towards caches going out towards Geurie. Found the cache in a short time in the first place I looked. TFTC No_Tomorrow.
This old road not so dusty today, a nice little spot here! Thank you for placing this cache! : )
Dubbo day 3
Today we decided on a trip down to the Wellington area, Had my 89 year old mother with us for the drive. She spotted a few from the back seat of the car.
We really enjoyed our drive today, taking in the farm land & up to Mount Arthur.
Lots of good hides at various locations.

I took the detour along the 'dusty road' today
Or in reality the unofficial rubbish dump behind the new 'suburb'
It's nice that these bushland corridors exist,
but they are treated the wrong way by the majority
So after an easy drive in from the south,
I stopped at GZ for an easy cache find
Then escaped back tot the highway under the nearby railway bridge
Of course some redneck has cut the fence that used to block access !! [:o]

Yaaay!! I'm off on my Brisbane trip. Sad to be leaving my lady and her kids. I shall have to cheer myself up with geocaching ...
I've done some pocket queries and some research on the results. I'm trying to meet lots of targets for Professor Rapidly Wild's UGC series at home, so I'm seeking :
Two caches placed in 2000 - none found so far
One cache placed in 2001 - none found so far
119 caches of size "Regular" - Four found, counting this cache
20 caches of size "Large" - none found so far
One letterbox in Qld - none found so far
One letterbox in NSW - none found so far
Any puzzles and multicaches I can reasonably find.
I've located enough caches to find on this trip on this trip to complete all but the last target. So we'll see how I go.
It's getting dark. I came for this one anyway, after I found the start of the road. We drove down, parked by GZ, and I got out my big torch and went looking. Nice hide.
Day 1, Monday - 12 in total.
Find no 10 of 12 today.
Thanks, No_Tomorrow

While spending a couple of weeks in Narromine over the Easter and Anzac break we decided to head to Beni State Conservation Area and the lovely little town of Wongarbon to enjoy some rural caching.
This cache has confounded us as we both well remember finding an exact same cache before, in the same area we are sure, with the same request to photograph the trees (which we did at the time and included with our log) However this one was published after we last visited the area
Anyway on approach to this one we overtook a cyclist so as we neared GZ we pulled into the shade and pretended to be on the phone until he had passed us.
The cache was exactly where we knew it would be, so we signed the log and took another photo of the trees, and as was the case last time one of them has died but the other still seems to be doing very well
This was definitely a case of deja vu but once again we enjoyed the find. Thanks....again No_Tomorrow

Decided to head out for some caches in and around dubbo with team_lewin while out here for Christmas. This was first on the list and even turned out to be a first to find. The hard part was trying to find a road in that was suitable for the car after the recent rain. Thanks for the cache No_Tomorrow a favourite point from me. *FTF* with Team_Lewin.
*FTF* with aussieben. With a rare weekend off before starting night shifts tommorow the younger brother was in town for a few days and keen to cache so no excuses today. Weather wasn't too bad so we headed east and cached in between and around wobgarbon and geurie. Great afternoon caching and mucking about. TFTC TNLN.
It was wet and the road was muddy when we were there, not dusty. Good luck to all who follow.....
