Our last day in the area before we head home tomorrow. A beautiful day to find some more caches here. Found with Earthlight and Shandyk, and signed the log EGS. TFTC.
How clever! Loved this, how do you come up with these ideas! Thanks for the find we got loads of smiles from this one!We couldn't close both latches it's getting hard to close, try as we might!
Taking a few days off work so I can get away to Mildura for a long weekend. My first time in Mildura so lots of geocaches to tackle to keep me entertained. Perfect conditions to be outside and geocaching. This short trail of caches with high favourite points was high on my to do list. I was not disappointed. Every one unique and well crafted. Certainly put a big smile on my face. A favourite point from me. Thank you 4Moule, for placing The Perfect Pear for the geocaching community.# # #15772 # #
Found with Bogonghazy, sorceysal, geo dog whilst caching in Mildura. Great cache to introduce some friends who spent the morning with us. Thanks for placing the geocache
Up in Mildura with LittleBoss2, Geo the puppy for a week of caching and golf. Today was a quieter day than yesterday where we managed to almost complete the Paddle Steamer series. Today we introduced a couple of Octogenarian friends to our game who completely outdid us in their ingenuity to solve various clever caches in this town with more than its share. This was thankfully a quick find with the accurate coords and then SS did her magic and the log was signed. Fave added
We got lucky on this one after some inspiration from Mrs SKI and managed to find it a lot quicker than we should have. Much better than out usual last one we look in!Another favourite from us.Our first full day in Mildura and after a quite cool night some beautiful Autumn weather has been really turned on. Blue skies and warm sunshine. We are staying a bit out of town but with quite a number of well-favourited caches nearby in the bushland and a variety of types we thought we would head out amongst them and try our luck. They were located along a range of bush tracks amongst the scrub so while dusty, fun to drive. Sadly no emus of kangaroos were spotted today to add to the fun.It truly was a great day caching with a fun range of gadget caches added into the mix. We awarded quite a few favourites to celebrate them, especially as we managed to solve them all.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache TheMoules.**SKI Pair****
Wow what a great cache 4Moule, and such fun to find. Buddy the geodog helped us with this one. Found on May 13, 2024. # 9170We eventually found a perfect pear Another favourite point
Found while having a look around the area today, staying in Mildura for the week. Dont want to give much away but it is a perfect pair. Well done, cheers.Find #6977 on 18 Apr 2024.TFTC TheMoules!
Went out here with the dogs just to find those great caches. Did not even know this park was here. TFTC
Loved all those pears. Some were juicy and sweet, others were hard an sour. I had to take a bite of each and every one of them, multiple times of course. Doing a day in Mildura after doing the Ballarat Geotour, the GOR, The Great Leap forward in Adelaide and the Flinders Ranges before we head back to Sydney. A host of characters accompanied various parts of our journey including kiwisteve2, drobbonz, kimmy533 and tessa-bella.TFTC - Definitely gets another FAV!!!!
Hoping Ive build up enough FP for this one now. I came here and this was absolutely my favourite of this series. I sat down to pick my perfect pear and the day was still cool although the sun was very bright all the better for picking perfect pears I guess.Thankyou for creating and maintaining and growing these pears for me to pick.TFTC
Out with kbucky after being in SA to do the On Your Bike series. Its very wet so umbrellas are out TOTT today. This was a sneaky hide however we worked it out quite quicky. Very quirky and I loved it. Thanks so much to the CO for this great cache and definitely worthy of a favourite point
4Moule, you are a geocaching star. Loved doing what we could of your series but the rain kept coming and the roads got more treacherous so we (weirdobiker and I) bailed out before we got bogged. Another fave point for youmuch respect kbucky
Sooooo many pears. Where is the matching one?? Very clever. So much thought and work has gone into this. Tyftc. Fav point.
We stopped at Mildura for four nights while on our journey to North QLD.
Here's one to find today. Thank you for placing the cache TheMoules.

Found with nannynomad, MazzyMay and Joybell53 and logged as DYLZ for short (the last letters of our caching names.) Today we decided to head out for some gadget caches, MazzyMay and I have done some before, but nannynomad and Joybell53 were unfamiliar with the concept. Sneaky but you didn't fool me. TFTC
Found with SiFiRulz nannynomad and joybells53 signed as dylz.
Beautiful day to be out and about. Didn't take long to twig after sampling the pears. Thankyou for the cache.

Found while on a fabulous weekend away to Mildura to complete the Paddlesteamer & Turtle geoarts, and various trads, multis + gadget caches. The Canberra crew included Nibletricecakes, joolay, kittykatch, youban, dty73, tankengine, barb2e, Klsarc & albida33. We signed as Mildura May Adventures 23 (MMA23). Unless otherwise mentioned, all caches were quickly found. TFTC.
Today was our second day adventuring together in the district. Out to tackle the Paddlesteamer and as many other amazing caches as we can with a lovely bunch of Canberra friends! Always fantastic to be able to get away for a long weekend of caching together. Loved the red dust and the crazy caching trails. Thanks for all the hard work from COs make and maintain these caches. Called our trip the Mildura May Adventure so signed as MMA or MMA23 today. Great to be caching with you KLSARC, GLISS! Albida33, Kittykatch, Barb2e, Joolay, Tankengine, DTY73 and youban. Thanks for a great weekend everyone. Thanks for the cache.
Southern Autumn adventure Day 54. Mildura Paddle Steamer Trip Day 3. After a huge day, the MAA team (Mildura Autumn Attack and we consisted of Nibletricecakes, Gliss!, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Tankengine, dty73, Youban and Albida33) headed back to the Paddle Steamer to finish the last bit. It did not take too long, and the whole series has been a joy of accurate and present caches. The next goal was the various Gadget caches rear Red Cliffs and then by the Gliding field. The day was completed with an all out effort to get to all the Turtle caches. Plenty of drive bys, but a few fun walks on muddy flats. This was another great series. A few of us gathered for take away dinner and retired for what rest could be achieved before tomorrows activities.
The various themed and gadget style caches we did today were all great and enjoyable after the series caching we have mostly done.
Thanks for the cache TheMoules

Tankengine, Youban and I came to Mildura for the weekend for a bit of caching with a bunch of other Canberrans (signed caches we did together as - MMA. Which I think stood for Mildura May Adventurers. It’s so hard coming up with group names).
We had an awesome time and ate at some really nice places, met a whole bunch of lovely people and found some great caches. Thanks to all the COs for their placements and my caching friends for their help and great company.
This cache: One of the team found this quite quickly. But we explored the cache and we found it hard to get the lid open at first and once we did the cache was appreciated more. Tftc!!!

lol...well played, you did have me going for a bit. It's a good thing I didn't try to use brute force, I don't think I have that much brute in me.
Opened the lid and no... wasn't expecting that. It's like the contents obstruct rational thinking.... took longer than it should before we found the log. TFTC TheMoules, FP.

Together with my son, I am on a camping trip from Sydney to Broken Hill and back. On our 3000 km journey over 11 days we have seen some wonderful little towns, beautiful landscapes and many interesting geocaches.
Noticing the large number of favourite points awarded. I drove to caches around the Mildura glider airfield. It turned out to be a great afternoon driving across the sand tracks to some very creative caches. Oh, this one got me fooled! Worth another FP!

Headed out for a weekend afternoon of caching with the fam, targeting some of this series of field puzzles.
Pears are important in our family, so we found this one extra exciting.
With a little teamwork we solved the puzzle component and had the log (and perhaps more importantly to the geokids- swaps) in hand.
TFTC The Moules, we loved the thought and effort that went into this cache!

Out this morning in Mildura picking up a few caches. This was one of them. Cool idea! Log book was soon in hand. Tftc!!
#16756 - 5:44:00 PM; After spending the night in Mildura on the way home from South Australia after collecting the geomobile with Sol de lune, today we set out to collect some of the caches in the area we didn't pick up on previous visits. We managed a good variety of caches and cache types as we made our way around the city and then further afield in our quest. All caches were found in good order considering the recent weather conditions and were returned as found once we had signed the log. Enjoyed the many gadgets and field puzzles as we made our way around the bush tracks. Added to the favourite points as we went! TFTC TheMoules
In town with LuckyL10n before heading back to Canberra and we hit up this line of caches as they seemed to be 'favourties'.
Damn, wasn't thinking here and it wasn't until I was halfway through 'my' thought process when I took a different tact. After that, and another minute or so, the cache was in hand and all was good again. Log was signed, cache returned and it was a slow walk back to the car.
Thanks again 4Moule....nicely done. Fav point again.

Out and about caching in the bush near Mildura targeting this series, all with high favourite points, and found they really lived up to it! Thank you for your imagination and the work you've put into the construction
This was great fun and had all four of us going before the youngest finally solved the field puzzle. The efforts to create and place this batch of caches is amazing.
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure, yes I know we have wandered over the border. Never mind, it is a wonderful day and we have joined forces with FelixII so we are off to see what we can find. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.
Day 4 of my 5 day Geocaching long weekend away. This would be Find Number 17 of 31 for the day.
Had me for a bit then worked out what I was doing wrong. Sneaky....

fitzy_1965 and I decided to head away for an extra long weekend so that we could attend the Tri-State Community Celebration Events along with the other events that have popped up.
A fantastic time was had and a nice number of caches found. Thanks to all the CO's for holding the events and/or placing the caches.
We spent the night at the Euston Club Hotel: an amazing room for only $90 and thanks to Service NSW for pitching in the other $50. Up early to make the trek back to Mildura for breakfast at a local cafe. A tad noisy but not complaining about the company! Whilst at breakfast we made plans to Yushaun & Laighside Legends to do the Lock Island wherigo and a couple more along the way then the new virtual before heading back to NSW for the morning CITO. Next was a couple of multis before tackling more of the Turtle series. Looking for something to do before heading to the last event for the weekend, we stumbled this fantastic area dotted with 4Moule/TheMoules gadget caches. Just fantastic with lots of favourite points given out!
It was wonderful to see cachers we hadn't seen for a while and to meet several new ones. There ended up being cachers from SA, Vic, NSW, Tas & QLD! Amazing!

28,504. Found with minniek while visiting the region for the Tri-State Community Events/International Geocaching Day weekend.
When minniek and I heard about the huge 8 event weekend (4 Community Celebration Events, 3 'normal' events and 1 CITO) to be held in Berri/Wentworth/Mildura/Euston celebrating International Geocaching Day, we knew that we wanted to be there. After two very busy days, we enjoyed the hour sitting enjoying a coffee and a nice breakfast to get the energy for the day ahead. We then headed out for more caches. This was the next one. We started to head down to the Camping CCE location when we discovered this group of amazing caches. Each and every one a great cache. Quick find at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on to the next one.
Thanks TheMoules !! Fav Point. I quite enjoyed the drive around here in our quasi-4WD

We were returning from finding a target cache and noticed that this cache was very close by so we stopped to have a look. We were surprised by what we found. After a short hunt, a little head scratching and a few umms and arrs the log was revealed.

I’m having this week off as others at work had the Easter break off so it was my turn and another trip up North to Mildura was planned.
I was able to leave Melbourne nice and early to get a few caches in on the way up to Culgoa.
So after a great feed and a couple of beers and of course great accomodation at the Kaneira Hotel I headed up towards Mildura to see how many I could find in the Paddle Steamer series.
I managed to find 115 and 165 in the last couple days but the uni joint in my right knee has finally said enough is enough with all of the getting in and out of the Geocruiser so it is time to spend a casual day around Mildura.
I got up nice and early to attend the Dawn Service at the park and it was great to see so many people there paying their respects.
After a wander around town and then completing the Turtle series which was the second reason why I came back up to Mildura it was time to keep my wandering around.
So after crossing the mighty Murray river for a few and then crossing back again so now I’m back on home soil.
After locating Mr Dipoles house collecting a package I continued along the tracks around here to find a few more.
I am not a fan of a pear but I am a fan of finding a cache and a log book.
A fav goes out to you for another great cache.
Thanks TheMoules TFTC.

The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Brilliant again - no chance of muggles causing grief today either! I did approach these “FIELD PUZZLES” with trepidation as I did not have anyone to bounce brainy ideas off. Got there though with patience and admiration for great construction. Looks like a perfect spot to hide all sorts of goodies or even unsavoury thingos whatever that might be. Headed out on the MTB despite the rising temp gauge and in psychological need of a destination AND the lure of a few large caches for a wee mission. TFTC and the fun of exploring new territory. Pretty different to home base in the mountains! A fave for the whole kaboodle

So toddled over here to sort out the go-go gadget caches and explore the landscape. This trail and was great value Ended the day hosing down Star the geocar A few smileys = a happy geocacher.

We had heard there are some really cool caches out near the airport, so we made our way to check them out. We had the pleasure of meeting the Cache owners yesterday, it is always fun to do the caches of other Geocachers you have met. With the sparse vegetation, you can find your way to the cache quite easily. A fantastic container greeted us at GZ and we opened it. We Peared into the container and spent a good few minutes before we worked out where the log was. The cache is a great cache and in fantastic condition. Thank you for this cache 4Moule. An FP from us for such an imaginative and humourous cache.
Great fun finding the ellusive perfect pear.

This was a great opportunity to get away with some caching friends in Mildura. The plan was to hit some of the local trails and geo art. There was many other hides discovered, with some really great containers and hides in the area.
This took us a little while before finding the perfect pair. Love the hide so given a fav.
Thanks 4Moule for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Here in Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet and Happy Pants.
Once we'd finished finding the nearby turtle series geoart, we were keen to keep on caching into the late afternoon, then on and into the night. "There's another one over here" was the saying heard most today. We found a plethora of different cache types, hide styles and were happily perplexed at some GZs! I was also able to dish out many favourite points.
Awesome effort here - favourite point added. I started on this one, then I had a hunch - I pushed the others to go with it and begrudgingly, they did! Voila! I was right! Thanks for the cache 4Moule.

Cache on!
After finding all the caches in the Paddle steamer and Turtle Series over the past few days there was still time to cache around Mildura and Red Cliffs.
Thanks for placing this fun and creative cache, a fav ????

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA.
With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
After completing the PS series we split up as The Drovers had already done the ones we were about to do.
We still signed the logs as either The Mob or put our initials in the logs.
There were a lot of different kinds of hides here which really good. Nice to have something a little different.
Quick find at this one. Probably should have taken a lot longer luckily it didn't.

Initially this one seemed like it would take forever to figue out, however a lucky move meant that we discovered the tricky cache without needing to go through each pear....clever.
FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, LíB and myself found a number of caches outside of the Paddle steamer and Turtle Series whilst in the area.
Most of the caches are stamped as The Mob (consisting of The Drovers, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, and myself), however a handful contain our own caching names or initials.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip was spontaneously planned and I was able to pull together a number of my caching friends who hadn't cached together before to form "The Mob".
LíB and I started in SA, drove to Victoria and ended our trip in SA; FurfacesLL and Rapidlywild came from Canberra and The Drovers began their journey from NSW; and then a few days later, feathertop from Victoria, joined us to complete the On Your Bike Series and other caches in SA.
We filled our days with piling in cars, hard core caching, Adventure Labs, crazy funny CB radio chatter, some laughter, some tense moments (OMG some of the ladder and tree climbs on this trip were crazy!), lots of lovely meals and even live music from a band called "Kung Fu Jesus" - nope, that is no joke.
We had hot weather each day (well into 30s), so I am thrilled that I now own a car fridge to keep the drinks icy cold (loving them at about 1 degree celcius).
A sincere thanks to 4Moule for placing this cache.
