Unfortunately I had said that if this one goes missing for the seventh time I was going to archive it.It has gone missing, so somebody obviously knows where it is, and is vandalising it.So I will shut this one down. Thanks everyone and sorry for the inconvenience.
10:43, 20 December, 2023. Is when we gave up our first effort to find this cache. We checked out the hint, read earlier logs and checked out the image gallery on Cachly, so had a very good idea as to what we were looking for and where it was likely to be. At one point, I thought I could see it, but when I found a tool that would help m retrieve it, the object turned out to be a smallish piece of wood. After we'd found the other River Views cache in the park, we came back for another, more thorough hunt.As well as the spot we thought it would be, we made a pretty thorough search of the surrounding area. All we found were an empty stubbie and a couple of second-hand condoms. This one may require an owner check to confirm its status. TFTH shack1961.
Probably I would say that the cache got stolen. I went to the same place to find it, and it's not there.
Took us about 15 minutes but we eventually found it! TFTC it was such a fun find!!
Visiting the area again. This time the cache is there and I successfully found it (and signed the log), which was rather quick.
pretty easy, watch out for needles and drugs tho! (the cache my look like trash but its not)
I have replaced this geocache, which was indeed missing for about the 10th time. If it goes missing again, I think I will archive it.
Cheers guys.
Cheers guys.
Apologies, I shall endeavour to get down and see what has happened to this one shortly
### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **possibly** needs some attention. You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, Post an [Owner Maintenance log](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating what you have done and that the cache is back as it should be. Then [ENABLE your cache](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) and sit back and wait for the logs of thanks and delight to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately) , so without a note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area has been flooded, the cache is in a remote/difficult to access location, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
All you need do is to [post a Write Note log](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=234) to the page (within 14 days). **Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.** When a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine, for a little bit longer.
**If you have a long term unavailability (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [Adopt your cache](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54). [^] Alternatively, you need to [Archive the cache](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. [xx(] It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then.
Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Bunjil

Could not find. Got a bit inspired by the photo of the cache and contents but could not see this cache anywhere. ??
Out on trusty treadles (aka MTB) On a merry mighty multi mission that includes this LGA. Good reason to explore marvellous Melbs and it’s many parks. Nice spot for the citizens to wander but no joy here today
Nice one, nice and quiet spot! Went straight to it - coordinates spot on. Thanks for the cache and a great start to our geocaching day
A quick cache in Sunshine for me
First to sign the new log
Thank you for this cache

Doing a routine checked on my geocaches and due to the last DNF I decided to check this one.
It was indeed missing.
All replaced now and back and it’s hiding spot

I must be a blind rock hopper, since nothing caught my attention today. Will have to revisit in the future.
Well got to tes the legs here.
Nice stiff hike up the hill.
Luckily the nearby carpark was just out of site.
Made it easy to sign the log.

I can’t find this and for the icing on the cake I accidentally touched a condom while looking for
Pretty sure I found the hiding place, but unfortunately there's a lot of rubbish and am not willing to go through it with my hands.
Lovely location, quite peaceful.

Found today on a leisurely stroll around the river.....could of miss3d it completely as to the rubbish around. Left a little pin for the next person.

Found by Mary and David at at 15:20. Don't know this area at all. Container and log snug and dry. Our thanks to shack1961.
Found quite easily in the open. It may be worth a check considering the colour and where it is. I'll try and hide it a little bit more discreetly in the same area.

Found it after 30mins this was my first find ever (new to this) one of the comments gave me the biggest hint. So thank-you. Also collected this, felt like I needed this little reminder.
It’s a shack1961 afternoon as Starruby and I enjoyed the river views on a sunny Saturday afternoon. (Thanks for the caches )( had a dinner engagement on this side of town)
We found 6 caches of the series.
This one was close to where we parked
We left it until last as there were some muggles sitting in their car close to GZ.
They were gone when we returned - after a short search the prize was found - we added a plastic bag an donated a pencil.
TFTC’s !

Had us rock hopping for a bit, but found reasonably quickly. Replaced the plastic bag and put a pencil in too. TFTC
Finally managed to find an afternoon to explore shack1961 territory! After a delay in the loop due to a police operation at Southern Cross station, I got off the train at Albion station and rode clockwise along the beautiful Maribyrnong river, aiming to end up at Footscray station.
This was the fourth cache for today, but unfortunately it was a DNF.
I hunted for quite a while. Used my magnet to retrieve some of the many discarded nitrous oxide cylinders from the blast hole, and read logs about being buried in mulch.
I scraped around in said mulch, but eventually had to call it a day.

Easy spot, left in the open, assume it was tampered with but everything’s still there, put it back where we found it but tried to hide a little better
Today we were on a mission to find caches in 4 different lga’s in Melbourne. This area was very unfamiliar to us and we were amazed by the views from this park.
I think we have walked on the trail on the other side of the river, but am feeling a bit overwhelmed by the views and space here.
Thanks so much for bringing us to this park to find your cache.

Couldn’t find it not in the hole in the rock like shown in one of the pictures. Has it moved?
Nice easy find despite the many muggles. Love the new bike/walking path down to the river
Another quick find on our walk. Lovely park and area near the river. Not busy despite public holiday. Thank you very much for bringing us out here!
Found it buried under about an inch of dirt so we got lucky. We didn’t bury it this time but moving some bark around might help. TFTC.
Unfortunately couldn't find this one today, a worrying start to our little geocaching outting today.
We'll be back
We'll be back
The weather today was much better than originally forecast. I had cut my camping trip short so as not to pack up in the rain, only to find blue sky and sunshine.
Wow this one took some searching. After parking I looked everywhere. I found some dubious rubbish (make sure you are using a stick in your search not hands!!!) but no cache. I set off to find the others and returned for one last look on the way back to the car. Just as I was about to give up I found it buried. With fresh mulch in place and nature taking its course this was a hard one.
Thanks shack1961 for the cache.
