Reperio 14:13Day 1 of my little escapade towards Albury for the weekend, and after spending the night at Bowral, it was on to Tumbarumba this evening. On a drizzly day, it was nice to get out and find a few roadside caches, and this one was soon located and signed.Gratias RoostamanAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
With the Monday of the long weekend off, I decided to head over to Wagga for the CITO. The area was looking much better when we finished. After the clean-up, DSD and I decided on going for a big caching day trip. The trip saw us driving to Corryong via Tumbarumba on the way there. On the way back to Wagga, we decided to follow the river and go via Holbrook. The loop was approximately 380km. It was a very nice scenic drive which for most of the trip, neither had driven along before. So a few new LGAs for us and we also got to meet, The Man from Snowy River. It was a great trip and of course we found as many caches as possible along the way. Most the caches we found were quick finds and were signed as: JM & DSD. To end the day, we also managed a FTF on a new cache in Wagga. Thanks to DSD for letting me tag along. One last thing, with todays finds I have broken my previous biggest year and its not even December yet. TB visit. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTE & TFTCs!
My brain is clearly shutting down after such a big day, this will be find #27 for the day on my solo trip to Wagga. Went straight for the rock pile when i arrived at gz, i got to this cache with not much light left, and looking at all thise rocks it was looking likenthis one was going to be a DNF but than looked at the map and realised i didnt need to look there but close by. Wondering a little bit futhur than looked down and noticed a spot that looked like somewhere you might hide a cache which turned out to be the jackpot not in a rock pile! I looked at the hint after finding it, but good to know my senses are switched on!Here comes the generic part of the log....Living in a small town with a young child doesn't give me as many opportunities as I would like to get out and cache, so when it was decided I needed to do some shopping out of town I thought why not have a change of scenery and head to Wagga (where i haven't cached yet)! A play date with the grandparents was organised, who insisted on making it a sleep over so I spent a few hours the night before getting a game plan to really make use of this time, get a d.t or 2 needed for my grid, some earth caches and get enough smileys to get the second cosmic souvenir. Would of been nice to have someone along for the ride but I still am enjoying the adventure flying solo. Thank you to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches.

In the blackberries! Rats!.Day 3 of our Great Leap Forward leap year Mega trip of 2024. Stopping Wagga for the weekend so we can attend a few events. Caching today with Joolay, Kittykatch and GLISS! Signed WW24 (Wagga Wanders 24). Always wonderful to be travelling across the country enjoying the amazing scenery and caching along the way. Main focus for this trip will be to tidy up the last couple of counties needed in Victoria and make a serious dent in the South Australian ones. Plus a few days in Adelaide enjoying the mega fun. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches so we can enjoy the game.
A caching road trip to Wagga to attend a couple of events and find a bunch of caches with Joolay and oother Canberra cachers. Logs signed as Wagga Wanderers 2024 (WW24). Lots of blackberries! Thanks for the hide Roostaman

Middle geokid wanted to go camping this weekend, and with the weather looking good we finally made the decision to head up to Tumbarumba for the night camping at Henry Angel Flats (Hume & Hovel walking track) I have camped here before passing through and had completed the northern set of caches, we were keen to complete the southern this time plus the new ones added to the northern side.
Two large eagles flew off as we arrived here. Battled the blackberries to the cache, all good here. TFTC!

Headed to Corryong today with fitzy_1965 and albida33.
Met up at Yass before heading south. Thankfully the weather held off but I still got my feet wet at one cache.
Watch out for the blackberries here.

With a weekend ahead, plans were made to join MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 in a dash for another Community event in Corryong. We met up out at Yass and began our drive south and west. It was not until after Tarcutta that we found out first cache. The weather held good all day, but there was signs of flooding almost every where we went. The main goal for the day was made on time and a great time meeting some people I have not met before and some I have. We did a few more caches in the region and the local LABs before heading home for a late night.
I thought I had done all the W2T caches, so was happy to get another one that may have been not available when I first passed this way.
Thanks for the cache Roostaman

28,628. Found with minniek and albida33 during a fun run down this way to attend the Community Celebration Event in Corryong.
When we saw the Community Celebration Event in Corryong published we decided it was well worth the drive down to clean up a few more caches in the area, cache in Corryong for the first time, and possibly meet some new Cachers. We met up with albida33 in Yass - left our car there - and took the 4WD on the trip just in case we needed it (good idea!). This was the first cache for the adventure. We had previously done the W2T series so this one must be newer. A quick find once at GZ. Stamped/signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on to the next one.
Thanks Roostaman !!

Off to Melbourne for the grand final weekend and decided a two day trip was the way to go...just for something different. Haven't been along this road for a long time, way before this series of caches, so made the decision to check them out. All had great parking and all were found without issue. And even after all the rain we've, all caches were found in very good condition. Dropped a few TB's to hopefully entice a few more people out here as well.
Thanks Roostaman.... a neat way to send a few hours.

Escaping from our jail known as Melbourne we have made the most of our freedom and have headed to Wagga to visit our friends and of course when friends get together they always end up caching.
We decided on doing this trail before the weather turned nasty and really enjoyed the drive out through some very scenic country. The hides were varied and happily we found each one we looked for and our name is now in all the logs. The clouds were beginning to get a bit thicker so we stopped at Gnome home and after locating the cache had a beautiful hamburger in the nearby store before heading back to Wagga, once again enjoying the scenery.
Many thanks Roostaman for placing this series, we will return on another visit to finish the series.

On the spur of the moment we decided to head out towards Tumba Bloody Rumba... only because of the poem and a series of caches leading us there. Thank goodness not in the rock pile. Thanks

Day 5 of our NSW road trip and we venture from Tumbarumba to Wagga Wagga. Another road not travelled before and many caches to be found. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining them for us to discover.
Caching today from Tumbarumba to Wagga Wagga. Hopefully the weather will be a little warmer, but I am not counting on it. Due to the number of caches found, I am doing a generic log. Thank you for placing this cache in this location - allowing other geocachers to find. Found cache and signed log. TFTC.

We have finally got to Tumut to visit our son and his family after the Covid-19 restrictions, and with a beautiful sunny day we thought that we would see how we went on this trail. So far today we have managed to convert 2 previous blueys into yellow smilies, so we are hoping that the rest of the day is as productive. We did have the thought that we could catch up with Mr and Mrs Roosta at the end of the day-but wouldn’t you know it, the pair has just set off on the road again! Can’t say we didn’t try.
A few trucks were using the area to pick up crushed rock, but luckily we were able to park far enuf away from them to grab this one with no problems

Tftc roostaman, doing your trail W to T . We will be enjoying the drive, scenery and weather.
On a point A to A road trip without my favourite ally OZREG. It's too cold for him anyway, LOL. It is a very cold day in May, but the rain was fantastic! We are out visiting family who are well and truly awaiting our arrival after such a long, but necessary hiatus.
As the caches on my list are quick stop and go's, this is a generic log, and I shall only add additional comments if needs must. Thanks to the _ stephenson 5, jacko*, Roostaman, The Ciscokids, Mrs Roosta and the Britto's for providing and maintaining these hides.

With a long weekend looming plans were hatched to go and do some caching in Wagga
Wagga. So Rapidlywild and only the monkey half of the FFLL team hit the road on Friday after
work. A lot of different caches were found while driving around the area enjoying the views and the lovely weather.
Nice easy trail with only a couple taking a little longer then others, but all caches were found in good condition.
Thanks for the hide and trail Roostaman and thanks Rapidlywild for a successful weekend away.

With a long weekend in Canberra, a geocaching trip away was calling us. So FurfacesLL and myself made plans to hit the road and revisit Wagga Wagga to do some more caching. A large range of caches were collected, many terrain and some lovely country views enjoyed.
Today we decided to do the W2T and T2W caches and enjoy the drive. Most were found easily, however we did notch up a couple DNF's today due to changed locations.
Thanks for the hide Roostaman And thanks to FFLL for another fun weekend out and about the Wagga and surrounds region

Busy morning with trucks on the road but good to have a spot to get well off the road. Tftc
Travelling from Wangaratta to Tumbarumba for a funeral today, but with a little time up our sleeves we gathered a few caches on the way. Indeed an impressive rock pile still graces this wayside pull off spot. SL at 9.38am #6368 TFTC Roostaman

Day 2 of our Aus weekend away, looking to be a lot cooler. We spotted this series while doing evening research. After yesterday being a fairly quiet one due to the heat and the decision to sit in some waterfalls for half a day we needed to up our numbers, the w2t and t2w seemed to be a good fit. Damn, bugger, blast, we knew this was sitting as a ftf and just hoped noone would be out caching in the heat but they were , so its a stf for us. Tftc
[FTF] Woohoo - off to Batlow for a couple of nights (hopefully to beat some of the summer heat though 35 still up in the hills today). Had a late start so only targeted this cache on the way. Parked at the rock pile, let the geohound out for a quick break and strolled over to GZ. A quick search and the cache was found - with a blank log still! Signed and replaced and on my way.
