Took motorhome for a drive. Midges must have gone north for the winter as they didnt bother us today. Only a big old pelican out on the mud flats today, Cache found and log signed. TFTC
12:58:00 PM. A beautiful day to be here and make the find. Log signed and looked around at all the sand flats with the tide being out. Thanks for the cache wazza9
What a great view from here. Luck for us it was low tied, as the ground was quite soft here today.
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Wazza 9
It was good to see the water whilst visiting Boonooroo. A nice spot, and our enjoyment of this location was facilitated by the cache's quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [wazza9](https://coord.info/PR42387) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------During this trip, I travelled with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) (who was visiting from Adelaide, SA) and we visited Maryborough for an extended weekend.Friday was the drive north, which involved the full day with stops in Nambour, Eumundi, Pomona, Gympie, Tiaro, and Maryborough, and highlights included the *Evil* series and the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series. The weekend's two days prioritised the *Jolly Brolly Folly* (JBF) series and *Geocaching 101* series, with a Sunday afternoon trip to Utopia Falls. Finally, Monday's itinerary included a few last geocaches that were in town, and we then returned home via Beaver Rock, Maaroom, and Tin Can Bay.A fun and rewarding trip with great company and friends, and we were rewarded with good weather throughout our trip.Today, it was our final day for our Maryborough trip, and [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) and I had final ambitions for a few remaining *Big Aussie Day Bash* series geocaches that we had yet to visit, and then circling back through town for one last time. We enjoyed seeing Queen's Park and had a late morning tea, and it was on to the Beaver Rock series. A few interestingly themed geocaches using our TOTTs, and then we returned home via the eastern ocean route before going through Gympie. There were a few interesting seaside towns visited, such as Maaroom, Boonooroo, Tin Can Bay, and Cooloola Cove.
No trouble finding this cache. No birds today.Freddo traveled north from deep south to catch up with friendly Liz and Bruce and the RV Home base crew. David Wazza provided a sturdy vehicle and we traveled in style. We had good weather. Not to hot. Not to rainy. Lovely one day and perfect the next. The caches were found in a blur of Which Is Next and Where Are We Going Now. Some caches were harder to find than others. Some caches we could see from the car. Regardless all caches were found in the last place we looked.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. I also have the same dream of getting all the caches over there, one day. Out exploring the area today, what a great spot it was low tide when I was at GZ so I went for a little walk. Tftc wazza9 ️
Visiting Maryborough for a couple of days and finding as many caches as possible with Snickersallan and GrannySmith1947. Finished the Bones Series then headed off to turn some nearby spots into Smilies. Soon found cache, log signed before replacing it as found. TFTC
After a lovely morning collecting the 'BONES' series of caches in the Tuan State forest with grannysmith1947 and Imbunda, we decided on a change of scenery and come across to visit the smaller coastal towns for the first time.
Thank you wazza9 for placing this cache and another good hide in this lovely location. Our lunch at the bowls club was delicious!

Hi there wazza9, we found your cache wazza9's desire is to get the caches over there. today.
The family Christmas is all done and dusted. Now we’re continuing our own tradition of geocaching on Christmas Day. We started the day off by nominating a cache cluster in an area we would like to visit, and then took a route that was determined (mostly) by the next closest cache as determined by our GPS.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area and ended up finding a variety of container types, sizes and ratings. We sure are glad to get this DNF off our map.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Good.

I was brought to this area for a family camping holiday with a side of geocaching (or was I brought here for a geocaching with a side of camping ). So glad that I did, what a beautiful coastline I may have never otherwise seen. Thanks for bringing me here and maintaining these caches. TFTC
On our way to visit an open garden in Boonooroo today we stopped to look for your cache. This open garden weekend has been a great way to get ideas about what we can grow when we move in to our new place soon.
Cache and contents are in good shape.
I also would like to do the caches over there Wazza, just need a boat and the right day.

TFTC. We had checked with the CO prior to coming out here on a lovely Saturday afternoon. The original sign and cache were gone. We asked whether a replacement was in order. The CO gave the ok and we placed a new cache container about 10 metres further toward the island than the original . Thanks for bringing us out here wazza9. A new area for us.

Well that might be the longest cache name I've found so far... I wonder if you've found them yet? We've found a fair few over on K'Gari but there's still a couple at Garry's anchorage left - last time we were there, got chased away by midgies and the thought of crocodiles after seeing the warning sign there, despite having already kayaked around getting a couple of the little island ones.
Found the rusty cache following the instructions. Too windy for the birds today but did not venture too far as soon got into the mud.

Heading north today and picking up caches along the way. I found a variety of hides and this was one of them. After digging up bones in the nearby forest I headed for Maryborough and just had to stop and grab a few more. I parked nearby and wandered off to GZ for a quick find.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Heading home after a great roadtrip to Maryborough and Bundy doing the 101 and TAF trails. Of course there's always time for a few dozen more, so let's go dig up some Bones and visit some others along the way.
Find #11597 @ 07:58
Thanks wazza9 for giving us all reason to visit.

Couldn’t get out to read the sign as the tide was so high but not so high that we couldn’t get the cache.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Out and about caching today while staying at Rainbow Beach. I did what the hint told me and started looking what was in front of me. Noticed something that shouldn't be there. Signed log. TFTC wazza9

Camping in Sunshine Acres for Fathers Day this weekend, the beach was calling so we went for a day trip out to Rainbow Beach This was **cache 6** of **6** for the day.
Pulled up and spotted the likely spot instantly, couldnt resist but to take in the views before grabbing the cache and signing the log.
Cache is in good condition

Maryborough Day 3
After the morning rain, it was good to go out in the afternoon to do some caching.
While I was caching with Aussie Liahona, Bill took a drive out towards the ocean & stopped to grab a few caches as well.there.
Bill commented that he hadn't realised that Fraser Island was so close.
A FP given for taking him

Arrived there, forgot to look over to Fraser Island, too busy looking for the container, it took me a while to finally see it, signed the log and replaced. Thanks to Wazza9.
Was not feeling confident since previous was a DNF. Read the clue, did the turn, dismissed the obvious, stood around, kicked a few stones, had another look, dismissed it again but then thought, “ Surely not?”. Yep, it was, doh!
That was fun!

My friend and I searched for 20 minutes. The clue is completely useless. Which sign? It would nice if more detail is added.
I got a funny look from the nearby property owner as well...

I've been holding off on caching for a few weeks until I could find a worthy cache. I was thinking of making a weekend road trip to somewhere that we haven't been to yet, and make it a memorable trip to mark my milestone cache.
This weekend was the weekend to get a bunch of hours of driving lessons with my daughter, getting her hours up to go for her test so I wasn't planning on caching. She kept asking if there was any caches in the little towns we drove to so we did a drive by on a few and stopped at this one to mark my 400th

A quick find here and back to the car to sign so I didn't lose the log in the wind. Tftc!
A great day caching and some beautiful scenery along the coast. Geowife was admiring the views across the water while I made a quick grab. All good with the cache. TFTC wazza9
The tide was coming in, neighbour muggles working in the yard, this cache took a bit of stealth , photo of the landscape and a quick grab sign and replacement .Thanks wazza9
Today is about completed the outstanding caches in and around Maryborough and to find the remainder of the caches for the Museum Heist.
Initially dismissed until we re-read activities then soon had it in hand. Very clever!
Breakfast in bed and then this geocache to allow him to collect the last of his gems. This was definitely a Brucie style Birthday celebration. Nice hide and a lovely view. After finding the cache we travelled some sand trails looking for possible future hiding cache areas. Thanks wazza9. Fav point alloc.
Had been to Liz and Bruce's event at the RV homebase when these 2 caches were published.
Decided to do them first before heading to Boonooroo, I have 1 to find and Youngoldfella has 4 to find.
A very easy find
Co-ords near to spot on

I was heading to Maryborough today for the event by Liz and Bruce at RV Home Base and contact was made with Sweet-Sour to see if wanted to spend 9 hours or so with me. He agreed. Picked him up from his home at 0700. I left Nanango at 0530 and arrived home at 1745. This was a very quick find. I have more to find than Keith. TFTC wazza9
What a sneaky hide!!! Never seen this before, but now I know to look for these types in other places!
The tide is out and there are some aversets feeding. Mr. Herbz made yet another find. Mrs. Herbz saw the cache but dismissed it! But Mr. Herbz was more astute. What a great place. TFTC
A nice easy find on a lovely day. A day out in the sun is always worthwhile. When we returned to the CG mobile after completing the cache, a tiny leech fell from Mrs GN's hair and was quickly dispatched - ugh
Thanks for the hide wazza9

Today we had a lovely tour as we headed on the way south with ilook4geo. We saw water and island views, pine forests and logging of the trees, as well as eucalypt forest and little quiet out of the way hamlets.
We had a really good day, with no DNF caches to record and each log was duly signed, with each cache being returned to its proper place before we moved on. Thank you to Wazza9 for placing this cache and adding to the caching game.

Has a good drive today with lots of different scenery to enjoy. Found all the caches looked for with goingplaces2, signed the logs. Enjoyed the day very much. Thanks to each CO for the caches we found.
It's been a long time since we had a FTF. Thanks for placing this hide in such a lovely location with fabulous views.
