Have had this in the solved pile for a bit now and seeing we were around the corner headed over for the hunt.Arrived and in very short order discovered the cache wasnt where it should be, started looking about in the dirt and expanding out with no luck.Out of desperation I started sweeping with a stick and when I found a syringe cap was going to call it after one last pass with the stick and to my amazement the cache came into view. After signing attached it back to the host and we went on our way. I embarked on another Tuesday geocaching escapade this week joined by monkeywand and we set our sights on the Huntingdale and Thornlie region. The evening unfolded with the excitement of uncovering traditional caches, engaging in multis, and finally collecting a couple of long-standing mysteries that had remained in the solved pile for quite some time. Despite moments of uncertainty that hinted at leaving empty-handed, the trusty one last look proved successful, adding to the satisfaction of concluding the night with an impressive tally of 15 successful finds and a perfect record of 0 DNFs. Thanks Granett for placing Mono for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 21:12 on 9/1/2024.This is find number 7954 for me.
Out with Cirrus_WA for our first Tuesday night caching escapades for the year. Well done CWA on his eagle eyed spotting. Cache had fallen into ground below. Have replaced back where we think it belongs.
Find 29 of 35 with three DNFs on a 40km mountain bike ride from Beckenham, through Thornlie and Maddington and out to Huntingdale, then back again. Perfect temperatures and lots of sunshine, good paths along the river to get away from the traffic and an excellent refuelling lunch stop at one of our new favourite places, The Roastery. All good here.TFTC Granett!
Catching up on a late log. Thanks for replacing this one Granett. Cheers Granett!
Join me at the 10th anniversary of WAGB in Narrogin on Friday 2 June to Monday 5 June 2023. There’ll be plenty of geocaching fun to be had, I can’t wait to see you there!

Thanks to the CO for replacing here. Back to GZ log signed and then returned to the car for the next one.
Out and about again with some of Cockburn Crew and headed towards the Canning River. Struggled finding some today, success rate percentage was low. Got this one after CO replaced.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

G’day Granett, unfortunately I wasn’t able to find your cache today (Friday 18/11/2022). Cheers for the hunt anyway!
Scratched around here for a while but no luck. Perhaps worthy ofCO having a look to verify it’s there. Cheers for the Puzzle but it’s a Blue Dot for us.
Found the tool for the first part of the puzzle without a problem, then was scratching my head with what to do with what was on the paper. One particular word had me thinking. A bit of Googling and I soon had the coordinates falling into place. Looked all around for the cache as per hint, however we found it in the sand. Hopefully it will stay attached for the next finder. TFTH and puzzle.
Out with Kapelula on our weekly puzzle solving mission.
Found cache in the sand luckily. Have replaced as intended after signing the log.

A nice quick find here, I thought I was going to be swooped my a couple of magpies but they just wanted to be fed tftc
Had all but forgotten about this little puzzle hidden away near where I spent many a year at Pat Morris' Ist Thornlie Brownie Pack. Now that was more than a few years ago. Remember solving part of the first stage but stumbled at the final hurdle when things got a bit icky. Typical! Anyway, after the co steering back on track, began to brute force the geochecker until the penny dropped for the couple of misfits. Thought the idea for this puzzle was very clever and beautifully put together with the well placed hidden clues [which I managed to totally miss]. Always love a cache hint that enables a quick find. All in all, seriously good. TFTC, Granett. A well earned fave
A joint effort to solve this one with Mrs j&j doing most of the work , and a quick find once we arrived at GZ. Having the park to ourselves certainly helped!

Geo-hubby had a day out with iluvtrekking while I attended a course in South Perth. This puzzle was solved in anticipation of our Perth trip. Fortunately a quick find in the teeming rain. Thanks Granett
Had a morning out with mister ooh yeh to cleanup a few puzzles that he has solved. He showed me a couple of others as we drive through the burbs.
Good morning out and thanks to the COs for their caches.
Replaced cache with owner permission

Mr OOH YEH went out with Barnzy12 for a morning of caching to pick up a few multis and some puzzle caches he had solved. A good morning was had with all caches found TFTC Granett
Teamed up with old friend urch to do some puzzle cache finding - it is all fine and well solving puzzles as they pop up, but without actually coming and finding them, they don't get converted to smileys on the map. Even worse, they sometimes get archived and will never earn you a smiley, as has happened to me on more than one occasion. So that was our plan, nothing but puzzle caches today. This puzzle was a nice quick little solve followed by an equally quick find of the cache once at gz. All up we came away with 24 smileys today and just the one blue frowny face, so pretty good all in all. Log signed, and cache replaced as found, then off to the next one. Thanks for setting up this puzzle and placing this cache for the rest of us to come find Mr X from team Granett
Continuing on in our puzzle finding mission to turn solved puzzles into smiley faces.
Stumbled along a very rocky path to finally come up with the correct coords for this one. Smooth sailing when at GZ though.
Many thanks for the puzzle and for the cache Granett.

Joint *ftf* with LAXA @ 7.50pm.
This puzzle became a real family affair as we sat down with our son and his girlfriend and set about solving this while eating dinner. We were onto the first part quickly and it took a little longer for us to work out what we had and what to do with it. Got the green light so jumped in the car and for the second day/night in a row had an impromptu ftf party with LAXA and Granett. A really well thought out puzzle that came together nicely.
Awarding a fave because the CO begged us to

This anticipated puzzle was published while dad was sitting at Little Athletics. He immediately knew what to do with and called home to get some assistance on a computer. The initial translation looked a bit gibberish and with dinner on the table we tabled the puzzle for the moment. After feeding the little (and big) people, we joked about the possible location. Texted the CO to complain about taking a piece o real estate we had an eye on, and while talking about this location, the penny literally dropped. A minute or two later, the message to the CO read quite differently. The kids all of the sudden were very much in a hurry to get out the door. The dinner table was abandoned, mum wasn't allowed to use the bathroom either. A text from Team Fratra upped the driving speed and anxiety to get to GZ ASAP. We got there just in time to be added to the blank log. Lovely impromptu flash mob with Family Fratra and the CO. Loving these Summer Holiday late afternoon FTF hunts in the suburbs. And because he asked so nicely (read: we are still sharing a suburb), we are awarding a FP.
