Ticks all the boxes here. Excellent coordinates and a nice walk on a slightly tropical morn. Thanks for this wee baby.
Out and about early today with VespistOz to beat the heat. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay queen of the mountain!

Quick find when out with Me&B before it gets too hot. Wasn’t looking forward to this but no wading involved and a quick chance find.
Came prepared with boots but a dry summer allowed easy access younger teammember had the cache in hand before i had negotiated the bank. So glad it was not one of he other islands and also glad it is not winter. No. Change that to wish it was winter. Anyway, thanks for the cache, laxa.creative as always.
Loved this one - keep me activity lol.. after we found your cache then have a lunch on the park and lovely view and plenty wild birds...

Out & about with Everlasting to find the proliferation of caches that were published while we were busy with our pommie visitors. After our swim across the lake we sat and enjoyed our picnic lunch whilst enjoying the scenery & birdlife. TFTC LAXA
Out and about grabbing some of the new caches on a very hot day. Sent Mr redlipsandunicorns over to the island as we watched on. Didn't take him long to find the cache and get back to dry land. TFTC LAXA
Headed out for a day of caching with Ooh Yeh on this stinking hot Sunday. Had phone at the ready to film hubby crossing the water in hope he’d fall in the water Cool cache! Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
I saw this cache published yesterday, but I didn't have the time to join the FTF hunt. However, this afternoon, I had some free time up my sleeve and decided that I would have an attempt at finding this cache. I searched for about ten minutes before grabbing lunch nearby. I returned and found the cache within two minutes. I'm surprised I didn't spot it earlier when I searched there.
LAXA, I found your cache ‘The Island’ today. It was the second find of two for me today and my total count now lies at 1109. The cache was found in a good condition, so I added my name to the log book and I replaced it as I found it. Thank you for the cache, the hide and for bringing me to this location.

Joint *ftf* with Granett and Barnzy12. Start of a new month and we get hyper alert every time an email comes through. This one just 4kms from home looked potentially promising so we jumped in the car and set off. En route we started reading the listing and after seeing a 3D/3T we started getting a bit worried about what may be involved in retrieving the cache. We arrived to see Granett searching and Mr fratra quickly joined him and the search continued. Like any good ftf get together it just isn't a party until Barnzy12 arrives and joins in. The COs also turned up and laughed and heckled from the dry shore which just added to the fun of the search. Finally the cache was in hand, the log signed and an impromptu gathering occurred on dry land. Thanks to everyone for a fun ftf hunt. This is the stuff that makes caching so much fun. Have a fave for all of the above.
TFTC LAXA this is find # 5654 for us.

Woohoo!!! Joint FTF @ 5:30
Had to pick up the teenage daughter from a friends house, just as I got there this cache hit the inbox and it was about 900 meters away. Gave the daughter the bad news that she'd have to come with me to find a cache and navigated my way to a parking spot near GZ.
There were a few muggle kids playing on the island but they left as I approached the area. Found a suitable point to make the crossing and was soon searching the area. A short time later team Fratra arrived followed by Barnzy12 and then the CO's themselves. Needless to say the cache was soon found and the joint FTF claimed.
A bit of an impromptu chinwag followed before we all went our separate ways. Awarding a favourite for the cool location and for continuing the monthly FTF streak, now standing at 54 consecutive months with a FTF.
LAXA I found your cache at 5:30pm, this was the 1st of 1 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5162. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

**FTF** with FraTra and Garnett
I’d been beaten earlier at the duck cache, and arrived at Bunnings where I needed to pickup a shed vacuum and some new waterproof caching containers, shopping completed and I got home and then saw another cache published but I was 21 minutes away.
Loaded myself into the car and got myself to GZ go see granett and mister fratra searching for this cache on “the island” so I joined in and came up with the find quickly after I was told roughly where to look.
Thanks for some great urban fun. Add fav.
