International Geocaching DayOff to Auckland with KGD & EyespyBenWeather was just light rain when we arrived in Auckland. The Plan was lets go and get as many as we can until we get wet. Then fine somewhere dry to get changed before heading homeTiny wee Houses popping up ever where nowNice hide thanks
Awesome tiny wee homeSorry did not have a Log book as it is fullWe sign our group name KEA {KGD EyespyBen ABCDF4}
Up with ABCDF4 and eyespyben again. A wet day but spent time grabbing caches before we were too wet and headed back to the Waikato. The tiny house was quickly located. Log was full so signed it as KEA (KayGeeDee, Eyespyben, ABCDF4).Thank you for the placement.Maybe the next cacher takes a new nano log to replace,
This was my eleventh find tonight, I was able to make a nice quick find here. Bapgirl is a big fan of tiny homes, although every time we talk about them, the practicalities end up being challenging. This is tinier than the tiniest of tiny homes, and very cute. A great little hide here, TFTC!
**21,985**Another quick find, thankfully Mr Geckoh has no problem running up and down stairs. Lovely quiet neighbourhood. TFTC
Enjoyed this one! And what a beautiful sunset to celebrate. Thank you, cache in good condition.
I don't restart work again until the 8th of Jan. With free accommodation I decided a geocaching holiday in Auckland was a good way to spend this week off. Most of the week I geocached with Yvettetb but the beginning and end I was on my own. Tuesdays focus area was around the Orakei Basin area and Saint John's. Wednesday we ended up caching in the Waitakeries and finished up in Glen Eden, New Lynn and Waterview. Thursday we geocached around Blockhouse Bay, Green Bay and Titirangi. Today we decided to finish off a few out here before Yvettetb had to leave. I then cached around the Panmure Basin and the new subdivision Stonefields.I out did myself this week. I walked 27,000 steps on Tuesday, 22,406 on Wednesday, 25,500 on Thursday, 15,000 on Friday and 23,800 on Saturday. A big geocaching/walking week. I had just done the caches around the Panmure Basin. I looked at walking up Mt Wellington but rain was threatening. I also felt a bit tired so I decided to try some others in the area. The drizzle had stopped so I decided to do a few more while I was out here.My last find today. Liked the tiny house and loved rumpyrocketeers log. My nephew built himself a tiny home. It looked wonderful but with a little one now there's no room. Thanks for the hide
I did a circuit of the tank before I noticed the entry point. A quick find once in the right spot. Nice hide here. TFTC
Maybe if I keep up this caching thing, Ill someday be able to afford a home as big and beautiful as this one TFTC
Was in the area dropping off baking for the charity I help out for and saw this unfound (by me!) cache on the map. Not found for a few months so suspected it had gone missing, but at gz, once I changed sides, it was right there, quite visible too! Signed and replaced with a bit of natural camo. My first find for a while, so thanks for getting me back at it. And thanks for the tiny house nation cache!
I went into the driveway of dwelling number 11 and -looking on my phone- I didn't realize my mistake until I stood right in front of the closed fence door.
Ok, all the way back and into the right path.
Now it was a quick and easy find.
Very cool container, the fish had alreqdy moved out though.

Today's my birthday, and I had work in the morning, but the afternoon was mine and I ended up using it for a nice walk, a few caches, and just kind of sitting up Maungarei for a while. This cache was near where the bus dropped me off. A very easy find, love the camo, and all in good condition here. Thanks beconaze! (#1477)
After a quick hunt, the very nifty cache was quickly in hand. Its a leetle worse for wear with a turret knocked off, but lying near by. Cache described by Mr6 as an "ultra rare". (High praise!!) Signed and returned. TFTC!!
I went into town, Newton rd, to see if I could buy an extra battery for my e-bike. Nothing wrong with the one I have, just thought It would be nice to have an extra so I can get extra KM's when I need to. Turned up when the shop was supposed to be open, but they weren't. So I decided to cache as you do when you're out.
I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I came here that this cache might be like other 'tiny houses' I have visited by this C.O. and ended up DNFing. But I need not have worried, this cache was an easy find which gave me a sigh of relief. Thanks for bringing me here beconaze. Nice little container.

I recall coming thru this walkway counting dots (back in the day). Great this time just to look for a cache. Nice quick find. Walkway is so overgrown I reported it to Auck Council. TFTC
I can say with certainty that I have never found a container like this!
Thanks for adding some extra fun to our game!

Muggle dog was barking up a storm, so stealth was needed until it calmed down, log was signed and cache put back.
TFTC.

A dot day today and this cache was on our way home. Parked up nearby and wondered down the little ally. Quickly found this pretty tiny house and signed the log before replacing it as found. Now we need to get back to the car before the rain comes.
Out to fill in a calendar day and pick up at Wonder of the World with Lycurgon, TFTC
Out exploring the local area and picking up a few caches with cragger and laval.
Walked up the stairs and found the right spot. Was thankful that for once today I managed to spot it before eagle eyed laval who had seen it but not realised what it was!! Ha ha lucky me for the last one of the day.
Thanks for the cache.

Easy to find as it was quite exposed, added new waterproof log and placed it in a more logical place , CO might want to check.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Very difficult to spot in dark by the light of my phone, but got there in the end. Been down this alleyway before trying to spot dots. All intact here
Found while on a trip north with tmann421.
Enjoying discovering the areas and finding some caches.

I had to wait for a muggle to leave the area who had stopped to talk to me about the disgraceful way the area looked and that she was going to ring the council to clear it up.... hopefully they don't find the cache Once she had gone I spotted the tiny house quite quickly, TFTC!
We were pleased to spot the cache quickly but retrieval was a little more difficult. But this is understandable as every good castle needs good fortifications.
Nice hide and container. TFTC.

Where do you get your stash of miniature buildings? Can't believe we missed this the first time we came through. Significant find for us - #300 out of the way.
I am out and about taking advantage of a day off work to add some finds to my tally. It's a great day for it weather wise. I parked up on College Road and made my west into the area that contains the big water tank. Oops, it isn't here it's on a walkway. Two jumped fences later I was were I should be. But this was not a quick find for me. I think I got stuck thinking down the wrong lines. Needed the help of a PAF in the end. I was not happy to find a bag of discarded dog poo next to the hide (I removed it). Cheers for the cache placement!
Light rain and a steady procession of old age pensioners deterred us from loitering in the area. Will be back.
Up in Auckland for the weekend with a little time to spare. Took a while to find this one as we had so many choices for the hint, eventually got there! TFTC
This Tiny Castle was the next Tiny House on our tour. Parked in Kissling St and walked up the path to GZ. One of us quickly spotted the cache - exactly as described. Thanks.
This was a cute little cache that posed no problems, managed an easy retrieval. Many thanks
This was easy to find but so much harder to retrieve! Decided to clear up some caches closer to home today. TFTC
Having failed at the nearby Flatmates the back up was this option. Was literally too concrete in thinking but cache was spied and found very soon after. The next issue was trying to retrieve it but got there - thanks to scotties little hands. TFTC
This cache is an enigma. Missed by experienced cachers but found by penless newbies (soon to be penniless if they keep up geocaching). Anyway I tried my luck and after 5-10 minutes of checking out every area that matched the hint or otherwise I failed to spot the tiny house. Must be a very cryptic hide. Another day it seems.
A tiny house just as described took us a few minutes but it’s there! Forgot our pen
As the cache is a short walk from our house I can confirm all is good here and the cache is in place.
Two of us spent twenty minutes to no avail. Nothing obvious. GPS all over the place.
Ended up coming out to Remuera after dinner to pick up a trademe purchase. Stopped here on the way past and headed down the path with my small torch. Overshot a little before I turned around and spotted the cute little hide, TFTC
So cute!
At first I thought my phone GPS was leading me to a no exit road....!
By then I found the Garden Path to a tiny house/castle!
Awesome.
Favourite Point!

We saw something that looked out of place along the walkway, and sure enough it was the cache. Extracting the cache from its hiding place took longer than the find itself. We were glad to get back to the car as the mosquitoes were attacking us at GZ.
I'd love to live in a tiny house, in fact any house would do for now as I wait for my new apartment to be built. So Mrs Jag and I thought we would check out this tiny house while in the area, Probably a bit too tiny and definitely not tinny!
First I looked at objects in the hint, but that proved fruitless. After reading a few logs I followed their lead and looked for a flash of color. I was then able to spot the cache. TFTC.
Hayleyfcy and I just got back from a three week vacation today and we had a pretty decent streak going on. So why not try to continue it? We saw this new cache near where we live so on our way to restock up on food, we stopped here. The find was pretty quick. If I were small, this would be the type of house I'd like to live in. Thanks for the placement!
First find after being overseas for 3 weeks, just trying to keep our streak going. Nice and quiet in this area, no muggles to worry about unlike the urban caches we've been used to while away. Once we got to GZ, a couple of items that match the hint distracted us, but wasn't long before michaelteacher spotted a hint of colour close by. All in good condition here, tftc
After a couple of FTFs over in the shore I figured I deserved a stop off at a tinny house, and this one will do. The dog next door once I arrived started barking and wouldn't stop but eventually after I walked away went quiet. Eventually I found the tinny house and we could thus rejoice... and [FTF] TFTC!!
Out for a short caching outing with Bennett24 and this was our last cache for the morning. Actually gave us the most trouble as we missed it on quite a few passes of GZ. In the end Bennett24 spotted it after a bit of ferreting about and we were relieved to sign the log.
Did see FMZ's log and wondered where these tinny houses were as this doesn't really seem like the neighbourhood for too many tinny houses but I never know you guess.
Thanks for taking the time to put out a nice cache for us to find - hope it lasts here. All good and joint 2TF.

Just as we were going to bed last night Mrs B had notification that this one was published; so this morning when near the area with Tuolei I remember that there was a new one nearby and we headed over. Have to say this one gave us the most grief of the morning and it probably shouldn't have; I didn't read the hint and until Tuolei mentioned it later focused on other areas that I thought were likely. After a good few minutes and thinking we might have to make a move, we finally managed to track it down.
Have to disagree with the first finder entirely - there is nothing Tinny about this house, it is more Fishy if anything!! TFTC.
