Had a good look, but no joy. Have seen the teensy nanos before but could not find this one.
This is a bit of a fragile hide and I'm surprised it lasted this long. Time to open up the game board for another player.
I had driven past this cache a week earlier during the school holidays, but the little park was abuzz with smaller muggles enjoying the sunshine and play equipment.
I thought I could approach the cache from the Eastern entrance instead, but I realised the GZ was still visible by all. In hindsight, the cache could be attempted while blending in, but given I didn't know exactly where it was at the time, I still would probably have failed to blend in as a gardener or the like while I searched the nearby bushes where the GPS pointed to.
As it turned out, the cache was in the most obvious location, but I always like to eliminate the less obious locations first (counter-intuitive yes).

I carried out a cache check with the assistance of my three grand daughters this afternoon after a couple of recent DNFs. I fully expected it to be missing, but there it was large as life? (well as large as you can get with a magnetic nano). The last finder could not tell their left from their right, but I decided to leave it where it was as the other side was more secure.
Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on wet or plastic logs)
*We soon had another good cache located, now onto the next one!*
Last cache of the day, dark now but easy enough find.

Nice to be away on another geocaching trip with tmann421, travelling to a few places in the upper South Island.

I'm in the area fixing a couple of caches, so took the opportunity while it's nice and quiet to find this one. All good, TFTC
It was a bit damp and dewy to do as the hint suggested, but I found it without any problems. TFTC
I my way into work to.. well, do some work. And also some prep for the GIFF event tonight. My calendar says I should get a traditional today - just four more dates and my trads are up to three per calendar date. So I came out here. I approached from Elmwood Ave and though, really, hiding in the bushes here? Fine, but there are so many windows overlooking that someone is bound to suspect nefarious activity and investigate. So I cast around a bit for a bitter hiding place. Rounded the corner and ah-ha! That's more like it. And a quick find. Hmm... this must be a Kiwimykl cache - he is the only person I know who plants Micros and calls them Others. Quick read up - big grin! Love it when you can recognise the CO from the hide style!
Signed the log, off to work. Need to make some voting forms...

Continuing a mini streak of local finds this week, this was the target today. A nice little park and not too populated. The only other residents were a wee way off, and not interested in where my hands were going. Is there a double clue in the hint? Nope, not how I read it, although it does depend how you look at things.
Quick find after a shuffle along the pine, or whatever it is they make these things from. TFTC Kiwimykl and Sophie, of course.

After a beautiful winter’s day out at the Pelorus Cluster Cross Country event, spacenarwhale and I headed into Blenheim. Top of our to-do list was this cache, in a neighbourhood we’d never visited before. We were obviously a bit tired, as we parked on 3 different streets before deciding which spot was just right (they were all perfectly close). She had a good swing on the swings before signing, swung some more, then we were off to complete the rest of our list.
Thank you for the cache, Sophie and Kiwimykl.

On a raid from the West today with bumandworker.
We sat down feeling like we were in a goldfish bowl and looked about us to see if any net curtains were twitching.
We dived for the edges and Bum came up with the goods.
I got to laugh at him re-rolling a nano log and he got to do the same later on in the day at another nano.

Good thing no-one in the huge window.
Now, which is right, and left again !
Thanks for the fun

After a pleasant walk around the hills we stopped off at this small park for a quick swing. Unfortunately didn’t have a pen with us, but took a photo of the cache. TFTC!
Following a couple of days away in Manawatu, and just a couple of caches there it was back to the Mainland for this weeks installment of life. I had a target-day to improve today so headed here after work to make the find. All was good and added my name in this are where I'm surprised you found space to squeeze another cache in - nice one! T F T C Kiwimykl, and see you tonight.
Another lovely manicured playground and luckily with no one around late in the afternoon. Found and signed. Placed as found although I thought it should be on the other side if I took the hint literally. This one's a lot easier than the other of your Grand daughter's caches that I found earlier. TFTC # 14.003
Called in today (a couple of weeks after actually visiting apparently) with Miss 7 to play and find and had a bit of deja vu. Then, upon checking the log found I had been here. Must have been one of those days, probably a work one. All these playgrounds starting to look the same.
It was interesting to watch auto-routing on the in-car GPS doing its own thing. It obviously prioritised minimum walking distance over minimum time. - - - I'm sure the driver would have over-ridden the directions if it was going to make a significant difference but it wasn't and we were soon signing the log. TFTC .
Mrs Sobad spotted the park from the car but SoBad wanted to check the autorouting on the tomtom as he had just sorted the display. This did give us a shorter walk to the cache. Another one where the completing of the cache log was the longest part of the find.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found after a walk on the Wither Hills after a period of closure due to fire risk. Nice to sit down for a spell. TFTC
We were on the hunt for some Kiwimykl caches so that we can get our total up to 100 finds. There is a challenge in Blenheim that we have been working towards for a long time and we are so close that one concentrated effort and we will qualify for it.
I spoke to a geocacher recently and they said that they had got really close to qualifying for the challenge when one of the cache owners started adopting out their caches, so they went from having over 100 finds to around 30, so they had to find another cache owner to target.
This is when I decided we need to pull finger and get this done.
We arrived at GZ and sat down, we commented about it being a nice peaceful park when one of the neighbours started up her lawn mower and ruined the peace.
So instead of sitting and enjoying the area we just found and signed the cache.
Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

We hadn't been over the hill for seemingly ages so it was time to rectify that especially since it was likely we could get double figures for the day. Our targets were basically on a loop without too much detouring and also included a couple of short walks.
After spending some time at Grovetown Lagoon we came into town to find some more caches. We enjoyed the very short walk to this cache although felt a wee bit uncomfortable being so close to someone's back? door.
Thank you Kiwimykl.

Slowly but securely the green dots started to appear again on the Blenheim and Surroundings map. It meant a trip over the hill needed to be planned and today was the day. We created a circuit and away we went. It wasn't the walk that had us take a seat for a break. It was checking the surrounding area for prying eyes. It seemed all clear and a we made a quick find. Thank you Kiwimykl
Shared FTF, with eltee291, this morning at 935am. Was sitting in the caravan when eltee291 came out and announced there was a new cache out! Let's go! Made it there in about 3 minutes, found the cache, and were pleasantly surprised to see we got the FTF. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache, Kiwimykl!
FTF at 9:35am today with hingis20. I had set my notifications to tell me about new caches in the Blenheim area and when I checked my email this morning there was one close to where we are staying so off we went. Nice and peaceful when we got there. Had a TOTT with me but didn’t need it this time. Great to get an FTF in NZ. TFTC Kiwimykl.
