I'm staying nearby for the week and need to keep up my streak (264 days, aiming for 366). I also have a friend who is interested in learning about geocaching. We agreed to meet at 6.15 a.m. to come and look for this little series. One of my favourite things about this series is your description, quoting Jane Austen, of "a prettyish kind of a little wilderness" Thanks for the cache, HappyUke! This is a lovely little parkland. I enjoyed the birdsong and the scent of the rain-drenched bushland at dawn.
Thanks for the find HappyUke
Loved this whole series and a nice relaxing walk
Found with andysbs68 on her first day of caching

The last time we went searching for this one we had no luck. I saw that the container had been replaced so thought I'd would be a good day for a happy face. The path in/out continues to be boggy, so gumboots are recommended. Found GZ and after a bit of a search we located our prize. Log signed and replaced.

Like others I found the rock in a large puddle. I felt around in the water but found nothing.
If I had done either of the next two in the series that I found I might have spent more time but it would have been submerged for quite a time and water probably would have penetrated.
Now is probably the time for the CO to relocate to a post that doesn't flood before the water drains away.

OCW the Bebes. Came back around for this one to double check after seeing the other hides. The Bebes got digging and miraculously recovered the cache. This was a muddy mess but got it. Placed a little higher for others until it dries out. Tftc

A little soggy along the path today but once your feet are wet…..you might as well continue right ?
This was the wettest of them all ! Cache was located under hint object, in a middle, in mud that I need to go wrist deep into but I didn’t want a DNF on this trail. Log was perfectly dry !
I have lifted the container slightly to stop it floating well as I didn’t want to bury it in the mud again.

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the NSW Southern Highlands for a short midweek caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Mittagong Caravan Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore the areas around Mittagong, Bowral, Mount Gibraltar, and Box Vale. Hoping to collect a variety of cache types, including some Earthcaches and Wherigos and previously solved Puzzle caches, and to also complete some of the Adventure Labs in the area. This was our 21st find of the day (day 5), and 105th find of the holiday.
After a busy morning of caching around Mittagong we stopped in the town centre for some lunch and a quick look in the Antique shops, then headed to the outskirts of town for a few more caches to end the holiday.
Managed to get to this one by crossing the causeway and following the fence-line from outside the reserve. Soon arrived at GZ and made a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. The cache container was floating in water, but amazingly the log was still dry inside. TFTC HappyUke.

Down from the Eastern Suburbs with frazeydaze to attend the Cito at Alexander Lake and find a few other unfound caches around town.
After lunch it was time to find the seven Follow the Fence caches, however, as it was raining we followed the fence in the car and only walked when required. Still got wet feet though. All caches were quickly found thanks to the good coords and generous hints.
Thanks for this series of caches HappyUke.

Oldmorty and I really enjoyed “following the fence” along the roadside and into the wilderness.
The additional information concerning access was invaluable.
Thanks HappyUke for putting this series together.

Heading home from the outlaws place - driving by myself and had the time so a few caches were targeted on the way him. A few in Sydney then various spots along the Hume Highway - all caches searched for found so have to be happy with that.
Second to last and signed the log listening to the happy Crinia signifera frigs (happy as the temperature was about 10 degrees - though they will call under ice!)

As the COVID-19 restrictions started to ease I decided to get out and find a somes in the Highlands. With ISO restricting my movements I had plenty of time to solve a plethera puzzles which collectively added to a great days caching.
What a fun series of caches that was an enjoyable walk in the bush and all weere easy finds.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches I found today.

I was taking a break from driving and having a short walk. I parked near one of the gates and set out. Once at GZ I spotted an obvious spot and had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and I continued walking for a bit more before heading back to the car. TFTC.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Found with sjg66 on our Highlands caching weekend. Thanks to all the CO's who maintain these caches, we had a great time.
Found TFTH SL and returned cache as found OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *Little Kitten*.
Found -- 4:24 pm -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *HappyUke*.
**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.
**The Cache**
I was hoping to park near GZ and walk in from this end, but access was all cut off so parked further up near the main road and walked in from that end. They are doing some digging, looks like a new lane [?] has gone in. SL with our initials *DJJ, LK, ToC* then returned cache to its hide'y hole. I was going to head over and grab the three I need at Willow Vale but it is getting dark and colder. I'm going home to the warmth.
**The Day**
OCW *Little Kitten* and *DustyJapserJet* on this blustery winter day. Too cold for caching, but some things just have to be done.

Found yesterday with Ziggiau during a small raid in the Bowral/Mittagong area.
This is a nice example of a funky trail which brings you somewhere you wouldn't have been in a million years. Thank you HappyUke!

With the Oz Geomuster in our backyard, Team MavEtJu and I took the opportunity to pick up a few caches before attending the event at the Cataract Scout Park. Continued our walk although the path was a bit soggy after the rain.

Don’t need finds today for my calendar goal, but April is my worst month for finds. So with no other commitments today I headed back to the Southern Highlands for some plundering. In the end I got fourteen, with just the one DNF. But again I avoided the big power trails and even did a series of multis in Bowral.
But I did start with a small trail in a piece of urban bushland.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
So much construction on the other side of the fence here. Some big drainage going in - presumably so more housing can go in...
Nice quick find, sign and replace. One left in the series and the circuit.

Left Port Macquarie heading south to the Mega event At Canberra.
Our 4th stop on the way staying at the Mossvale Showgrounds.
Headed north to Mittagong so Hubby could do a bike ride & I walked the fenceline then meeting up again to find some other. This was a great way to visit the area,
