Thanks TRAN18 for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, On The Rocks , was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #2313 at 11:08 on 23/11/2024. FTF: Found with: selfWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
The final day of Tassie, I figured I should check the geocaching map for any nearby caches... this one was only 30 metres from our BNB. I walked across the road and desended down the rocks and a quick find was made.Such a nice area and the sound of the waves so I decided to hang around and just sit and listen. Was really cool. Thanks for placing this cache in such a cool area.Cache and contents are all good here. Thanks TRAN18 for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 4205 on the 4th of November 2024.
Quick find on the way back to camp after our excursion to Mount Brown. TFTC
Geocaching with little mountain goat granddaughter. A fun clamber around the rocks. TFTC
I am in Port Arthur to see the sites, and to collect caches.Looking for this cache got me to see "White Beach", which I otherwise would have missed as a site to see.The tide was too high for the beach access so went with the precious road access. With the hint, the cache location was found, and log signed.TNLN (Would not have kids trade items in anycase.)
Day 3 of a geocaching smorgasboard on the Peninsula.. Quiet Monday makes for a quick and unmolested find. All good here and in good nick. TFTC TRAN18.
Decided to approve this one from the road. Luckily it didn’t require too much agility!
A quick find. Thanks for the cache! Our first find for the day!

We headed down the peninsula finding caches and this was one we found. It was a beautiful day to be out and about. TFTC
Found it!!! Scored an awesome phone cover in the cache left some loot and launched our daughters travel bug TFTC
Well we decided to stay the closest I've ever stayed to a cache so after a walk of about 30metres I had the cache in hand and added a smiley. This is an amazing part of the world and the girls and I loved walking along the beach and even going in for a dip. Favourite point for the closeness
Lucky silver fox is a good rock climber. Went during evening, lovely little area.
Last cache of this day before we head off for a lavender ice-cream then an aborted trip to Fortescue Bay. All good here, opened my eyes fairly quickly and soon spotted the hide.
Last full day in the state today. It's mrs capperz's 60th birthday today so not too many caches, but a bit more sightseeing before we head out for a meal tonight. Just the 5 caches today, quality rather than quantity, all good. Nice finds in and around Port Arthur and some random beach visits.
We had a weeks holiday booked in Tasmania as a way of celebrating mrs capperz's 60th birthday. What can I say but WOW. What an awesome state and was everything we'd seen and heard about this gem of a place. My main PQ had only Earthcaches and Virtuals and aside from an old cache for my missing month stats I only turned the GPS on when we were stopping somewhere anyway, what a great way to tour a place. Managed one complete set of Ad Labs at the airport, and started another 6 adventures with no intention to complete. Over 50 'real' caches were completed and left behind a couple of trackables to continue their journeys.
I will upload the associated pictures and answers over the next few days or so, need to start to make a dent in my finds backlog.
Oh, and thanks to all COs for their hides, much appreciated for this New Zealander.

Had a good time finding this one. Slightly off coordinates on my phone anyway by a few metres
We were a bit worried as to how to access this but not too hard. TFTC. We are staying in a nearby BnB. Just gorgeous.
On a road trip from Hobart to Stanley with my mum over 2 weeks. We visited a number of towns and we were mainly targeting Virtuals and Earthcaches due to the amazing locations they take one to. We did pick up the random traditional, multi, puzzle, wherigo and even a couple letterbox caches whilst travelling.
Today is the first day of the actual road trip as prior days were spending time with family. After checking into our accommodation for the evening, we had some daylight left, so decided we would go for a drive around the Port Arthur penninsular area. Worked our way around collecting caches until we lost sunlight.
Thanks for placing and mainting this geocache TRAN18

2nd find on our trip to Tassie! Didn’t take too long to find! Absolutely beautiful beach!! TFTC
Very nice spot with beautiful weather all weekend. We will enjoy dipping or to before lunch, thanks very much
Oh my god beautiful view
So glad we did not approach this one from the beach today as it was high tide and that would have been very wet
Viking dad did a little rock climbing and soon the cache was in hand
Thank you so much

A lovely drive to a stunning area to which i've never been to before
Parked nearby this one and made my way down and began the search. I went past it twice before getting much closer, scrutinizing and looking slowly so i couldn't miss it

Our first stop this morning was a t White Beach. Reasonably accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find - thankfully we did not have to go as far down the bank as initially thought. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks TRAN18 for the cache.
Staying at White Beach and out on an early morning walk and making the most of the fine weather after a wet day yesterday. I ended up making this one a lot more difficult and bushbashing my way to GZ. After signing the log I noticed a much easier way out! SL TFTC TRAN18
Had a day for a run around the Pennisula. Some great caches and my target - kelpies was visited as well.

Decided a few days ago to head to Port Arthur after an early morning appointment for Lady membsec, to do a maintenance run for the geofamily and also get a few newly released caches since our last visit. Turned out we chose a good day!
Over shot this one but could see it from below.

Suscoe was wandering the roads of the Tasman Peninsular today.
It was a lovely day with some drizzly rain in the morning, some sunshine as well and a solid South Easterly wind.
The roads were quiet down here today which made the wandering quite pleasant.
We did a lap and a bit which showed us the range of the countryside from farm lands to bushland and everything inbetween, we were also amazed at the number of homes located around the delightful bays.
Thanks to TRAN18 for this hide, a lovely view today.

Hello TRAN18 thank you for the cache.
As we arrived at GZ there were some people hanging around but by the time we turned the car around and parked near GZ they were on there way along the road.
It took a little while before the GPS settled down and after a nudge by EeePees the cache was found.
We waited for Gooseandeggs and StainlessSteelRat to turn up before going off to find the next cache.
Found with EeePees while having a great day caching.

A vague plan was suggested during the week but nothing was set in concrete and I was beastly careless so come Saturday I was a little surprised when my lift turned up ready to go. I sorted myself out and we left.
On the way down I received a message from EeePees regarding a snake at another cache so knew he was in the area. It worked out that we met him and Alby Dangles here. They had found and logged the cache already so I went down from the road and soon had it logged too.
After a little discussion we ended up all going on a bit of a walk to find a cache that I wasn't planning on. Glad I did!
Thanks TRAN18

As we pulled up at GZ we noticed couple of dodgy chaps loitering near a car, it was only after a second glance we discovered it was Alby and EeePees!
After a bit of a chat we soon had the cache in hand and then we came up with a plan to do another cacher together.
Thanks for the cache.
First proper day caching since I got back from the Mega on the big island, great to be back out caching on common ground.
Today it was down to the Tasman peninsula to find some new caches and some old ones I had missed in my past visits, but as just about always I leave something for the next time

Hi TRAN18, thanks for the cache. I parked roadside and approached from above, but ended up down a bit for better perspective. I still took way too long to make the find!
This is my last find for the morning, the day, the weekend.
I had to drop off geoSonE at White Beach for a scout camp Friday night and pick him up today, so I stayed nearby for the weekend to do some caching. Yesterday I cached from Taranna to SaltWater River (Coal Mines) and then from Remarkable Cave back to Port Arthur.
Today I am just targeting a few in the White Beach area before the noon pick-up.

Hi TRAN18 went for a drive around the Penisula today with Mrs PC and two of our granddaughters Miss L and Miss I. Could have actually tackled this from the roadway, but where is the fun of that. All good with the hide TNLN but a signed log. The lovely wander along the beach was heightened by the luxurious boatshed, could live in it very nice! Plus the beautiful water and white sand but that goes without saying.
Thanks for the cache TRAN18. Out and about with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP for a few days on the Tasman Peninsula. We were dodging rain showers when we parked to search for this cache. It was dry when we hopped out of the car so we were hoping for a nice quick find before the next shower hit. RLD4963 made quick work of finding the cache and we were soon back in the car and off to the next cache.
out and about with the Rafas caching, heading down to the peninsula for a visit to the coal mines I have never seen them before so another first! a very scenic bay and a nice hide for the cache. TFTC TNLN log dry.
Visited Paradise today while holidaying with a friend. Quickly spotted a likely hide & the cache was found.
