We accidentally found this one... looks like the container has somehow been destroyed, we found the log on the grass and the tiny container has been smashed... needs some maintenance. With silence49 who’s found this one before so it has been replaced where he found it originally
Took us a bit! Turns out we needed to be more assertive. Thank you for the cache!
No corellas here today just a lot of noisy miner birds! This one is definitely a micro and a fun find too! Tftc
No long-billed corellas were around today, but there were a few dogs training on the oval which occupied the geoson while I searched around for the cache. He declared "I see it, I see it", but it was me that actually found it elsewhere - goes to show you can't trust a 2 year old.
The container is broken a little and the lid is cracked, but waterproof paper means this is still a viable cache. Thanks Cherryslice88.

Now about 50 percent thru this cluster of caches with focus to now clear out this block of local caches. Its a nice morning with 2 groups of 'boot camps' screaming and yelling at each other on the oval. I think the other cache on the other side of the oval would need to be done at a different time. Well the task is done for today I'll be back again tomorrow. Cache is great condition.
Day 151 of 366 completed.

Having a wonderful day out with the delightful echidna44 Today we were targeting a few random caches in the suburbs that we hadn’t found, and adding some more smiles on our maps. I was almost misled but for a change of thought by my phone had me in the right place which soon led me to the cache Didn’t enjoy removing the prickles though TFTC Cherryslice88
It was in the first place I looked but I didn’t do a thorough check. Glad I came back. The cache is broken and needs replacing. TFTC
Cache is broken. Water is in the cache and the log sheet is soaking wet. Couldn’t write on it. Tried to repair it but it still needs attention. Might come back one day to fix it
Cache container and subsequent log replaced today. You’re now looking for a bison tube.
Happy hunting

Reactivated. Thanks PsychoVanjie for your help. Ready get set. Ready for play.
I had been busy for most of the day and still needed my daily exercise and cache. I parked across the road and wandered over to GZ. It was déjà vu for me when I arrived at GZ having found a couple of now-archived caches, due to being muggled too many times, at the exact same spot.
There were no muggles at this time in the afternoon and probably because it was getting colder. I searched GZ without success and then noticed the lid of the cache in the grass as it had the GC code written on it. As I was picking up the lid I saw the log floating in the large puddle at GZ. I also found the broken base of the container in the grass nearby but not the magnet. It was lucky that it was a water resistant log as I was able to dry it and sign it at 5:15 pm. TNLN. Even though it wasn't the right hiding spot I placed the cache at GZ and contacted the CO to let her know where I had put it. I used hand sanitiser before and after finding the cache to stay safe.
Thanks Cherryslice88 for the challenging cache but at least I found it....more or less. After finding the cache I had a short walk around the oval before heading home for dinner.

Yes I know it needs a new log book. Feel free to bring a make-do log strip of paper. Alternative is that I disable this until I can get to it. So if you would like to attempt this cache, just be aware that there might not be any paper here.
Out and about last night with the Geodog. Needed to get out for some fresh air and a few mini adventures. Drove around the area and jumped out for a few short walks. The woofa couldn't believe that we were going for so many walks! Luck she doesn't monitor distance of time! Thanks for the fun Cheryslice88. Found the container but there was no log with. Sorry I had no paper on me to replace it. Will require some maintenance.
Hi, Found this one last night but there was no log in the container. Sorry I had no paper on me otherwise I would have replaced it for you. Tucked the container back in ts spot.
My gps was all over the place and I think I probably didn't give this one as much time as it deserved. But the wind was blowing and it was pretty cold so gave up quite quickly. Will have to try again anothrr day.
Found it, it was out in the open, looks like someone had moved it, have hidden it in the same vicinity, pretty hard to spot so keep your eyes peeled, paper was damp. Thank you
To cache or not to cache? Tough choice given the current situation and plethora of advice that's out there at the moment. I've spent the week at home with the family doing our best to follow advice to limit visits out. Knowing it might only get worse I felt I needed some exercise out this morning so I came here which is not to far from home to try a few caches that I hadn't visited before. After a find on the other side of the oval I headed on to here. Had another target in mind but once I approached GZ I saw sometime worth checking out. Gave a muggle dog walker plenty of social distance to pass by and I swooped in for the find. The log was a bit scrunched so i did my best to straighten out and fold up neatly. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Cherryslice88.
Found log and container, however someone had ruined it but putting a dead slug inside it, not sure where the original location of this was
It’s a nice oval and playground when sports are not on. Glad to find this after missing out on the one on the other side of the park. Thanks.
This cache is one that I've visited a few times in the past year, but never actually been able to search for before today, due to muggle activity/presence.
It's obviously just been bad timing on my part, but I've been thwarted here by jogging muggles, dog walking muggles, various forms of sportsball-playing and/or spectating muggles, and on one particular occasion, a family of picnic muggles who, on a windy and overcast winter's day that was otherwise blissfully free of muggleage, decided for reasons of their own to set up a blanket and have lunch about 2m from GZ, rendering the possibility of search near impossible.
On one of my prior visits I did a walk-past with GPS without stopping and was 99% certain that there was really only one place the cache could be, and so when I was in the neighbourhood again early this evening and discovered - shock horror - that there wasn't a single muggle of any stripe in sight, I didn't bother to open the Geocaching app and just walked over and checked where I thought it would be.
Normally confidence like that on my part would have been swiftly followed by some kind of embarrassing reality check in which I was proved comprehensively wrong, but not today, and so moments later I had the diminutive container in hand.
Signed the log, thanks for the cache, Cherryslice88. (No Corellas today - just a couple of nearby magpies.)

After a nearby appointment we stopped by here to pick up a cache and fill another day on the caching calendar. After being unable to complete the nearby cache due to a Muggle sitting in his car, maybe eating his lunch??? we walked over to this side of the oval and picked up this cache. Mr Pooky made a quick easy find in the first place he looked. TFTC and bringing us to this oval. We will have to come back to find the other one.
Nice hide Slight panic when I dropped the lid amongst leaves as muggle approached but resolved!
Merry Christmas. We just finished Christmas lunch with relatives and decided to visit this little reserve and pick up this little cache. TFTC Cherryslice88.
Chiefton.

No do-doos, but a dog out to chase a ball and the greenkeeper tending to the hallowed turf. TFTC
When I parked the car I noted a likely place for the cache .. a quick find followed. Thanks Cherryslice88 for placing the cache.
Avoided some dog droppings to retrieve, placed in a different spot
Thanks Cherryslice88 for Long-billed Corellas

We knew immediately where this was going to be, and on closer inspection, a lovely little doggy doodo was guarding the hide. A careful retrieval meant we were able to sign the log, but have put it back on the other side so next finders dont accidentally put their hands in said doodos.
Cheers Cherryslice88

Today we found Long-billed Corellas on our travels. Found on our way home from a lunch in Camberwell. Walked across the very soggy oval to sign our name.
Thanks Cherryslice88 for being part of our geocaching fun.

28 Aug 2019: Streak Day #181/366 (1 March 2019 - 29 February 2020). A quick stop & find here. TFTC.
Out hunting a few caches this afternoon and after being muggled out at the last one I was going to hunt, came a bit further south for the pair of caches in this park. Followed the GPSr to a likely looking GZ and with the coast clear I was able to grab the cache. Thanks to Cherryslice88 for this one.
The farmers' kids in my town used to talk about corellas and what a pest they are as if I should know what they were talking about - those birds that gathered in huge flocks on the footy ground, and made the racket that would wake you before daybreak. I knew they were the weirdos - what's worth knowing about birds anyway? Years later I've developed a few chinks in my ignorance - amongst them I know a corella when I see it. I can spot a cache too. Thanks Cherryslice88 for this one.
Whilst all eyes were on the soccer ball I managed to retrieve the cache unseen. TFTC
With my geopartner in the city all day and me having a place to park the car for free, a plan was hatched to go after work for some night caching as I rode back to the city where some chilli HSP awaited me after a cold evening caching. 4 hours for 20 km wirh all the detours for caches. With the ftesh scent of dog pooh now on my bike wheel and my fingers frozen I was happy for a quick find and then attend to the other issues. Thanks to Cherryslice88 for the placement and fun.
Needing a cache for a calendar space I drove up here after a supermarket run. The birds were asleep. I had found the other cache in the park. I must have just been after the previous finders tonight - a short walk by torchlight - obviously easier to find at night without muggles - a nicely hidden cache was found very quickly. Thanks, cherryslice88 for the cache and all your caches in the area.
I don't like caching in the dark, and it's only 5.30pm, but one of the pluses is there are a lot less muggles around.
This one had me guessing. I thought this would be a different type of hide, but then kept looking and soon came up with the goods.
Thanks Cherryslice88

Popped over here today for a semi local cache. Tested a couple of spots and snapped a photo of the caches namesake before finding the cache. Glad there wasn't any sports going on otherwise this would've been a very difficult find.
Suscoe was up in Melbourne today for a few reasons and one of them was to find some caches.
The weather was pleasant for a Winter's day, started out very foggy and still and cold but as the day passed by the fog lifted, the temperature rose slightly and finally the sun broke through with blue skies.
We had a good run today with weekend traffic much better than weekdays.
Thanks to Cherryslice88 for this hide, no long billed corellas today but there was a very large family of magpies enjoying a feast on the oval.

Out this morning before work to cross another day off the calendar (and keep the streak alive). Wandered over to GZ and found a likely spot, but that turned out to be false. Found the cache in a much easier location! Much easier this morning without the locals training and the rain. Tftc

Out and about on a short cache run with Jascat.
This one was a fairly easy and quick find as I could see it from some distance away, the cache was retrieved and the log was signed.

Out picking up a few caches on the Queens birthday. Just managed to grab this one before being almost knocked over by a four legged friend.

No long billed corellas here today. Waiting for new car battery for geomobile so lucky me gets to fill in time here. Quick find. TFTC and info!

Another month of no caching so it was a last minute end of month dash for a find. I've kept the nearest traditional's unfound for this very reason so j-facit and I had a pleasant late evening walk across the oval with a satisfying quick find and log. the rain held off so all in all a successful outing.
Thanks Cherryslice88 for another streak saver, 141 months in a row with at least one find.

With an hour or so to spare before an evening appointment, I headed out to look for a few caches along the way. This was my first stop. After parking nearby I wandered over and was able to lock in on the hide straightaway, which was probably a good thing given people were arriving at the grounds for training. TFTC
Have passed this cache so many times but tonight after an emergency call out nearby, I took the time to grab a few caches while in the area. Even though it was dark, I very easily located the cache, however signing the log proved to be more difficult as I couldn't hold the light and sign the log at the same time. With a fairly scruffy signature in the log, I tucked it back into its cache and then back into its hide. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams
Seemed obvious where this one had to be, but I had to circle around with a long bill to finally claim this one. All quiet on a Sunday morning apart from a couple of dog walkers. TFTC
Found some time ago but never remembered our pen. Tonight was soccer practice and well lit for T’s walk. HNT
Gave up after a while due to the number of muggles near GZ. Tip: don't try to find this cache on a Saturday afternoon.
