As we head quickly toward the end of 2024, we decided along with fellow Victorians Suscoe, to make an effort to tidy up our cache finds and the appearance of our geo-maps before we begin setting our goals for 2025. A trip to Wagga Wagga was arranged and we thoroughly enjoyed finding a range of different caches, many very cleverly created by CO's.Our last day in Wagga Wagga and temperatures forecast into the mid 30's, so the same strategy as previous days - caching in the morning and then mostly did Adventure Labs in the afternoon, with a few passing caches chucked in for good measure. This was one of the caches we found today as we worked our way around the geo-map cleaning up Lab caches and the occasional Bonus cache.A lucky quick find with this one, after the TofTT was deployed. Our thanks to 'AngusnMummy' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.38473*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
A sunny and hot day followed Suscoe today as we cached with our great friends Phetlern. We had a most enjoyable day together. We headed to the Charles Sturt Uni area of North Wagga and surrounds and then back across the Murrumbidgee to find a few more Ad Labs and caches on a hot afternoon. We left our joint sticker on the log sheets as well as writing our names on a few logs.Thank you to all the cache owners for the work that you have put into the caches that we found. We enjoyed the effort put into the containers and the locations. Thanks to AngusnMummy for this clever hide.We were lucky that we selected the correct spot first up and made a very quick find today. A good view from here too.
Unfortunately the endlessly shifting gps thwarted me. Had the right general area but couldnt narrow it down... and the cold wind came up so I left. I guess I'll try again another day.
My banding trip to Charcoal Tank (West Wyalong) was cancelled due to forecast rain but I decided to go anyway. Camped in the car (good call as it rained on and off all night) and so after a quick bird walk (hoped for species seen) and a drive to Ungarie for the AdLab a slow trip home to collect some selected caches (mainly higher D/T or a series to complete).Revisited this one after it was missing in action last visit. Parked closer and so stumped the TOTT a shorter distance than last time. In the end I used intuiting the cache (second spot today but exactly where I looked first last time) but replaced without it in the end (and probably could have reached but do I really want to poke about there without looking?).Glad to get another one avenged.TFTC AngusnmummyAdventures
Got to GZ and realised I might need a tool. Managed to figure out the sneaky hide and get it back, lucky I have some reach.I was in this area earlier today but the thunder storm chased me away.
Today we explored Wagga Wagga and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. We enjoyed travelling through the countryside and visiting new, to us, locations. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. With a TOTT we made a quick find at GZ, yep it is still there. Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.
A cool park here!! This one took a little while. The TOTT in the hint confused me. The tree bit confused me. My gps being 6-7m out confused me. I was ready to let this one go, but somehow I got there in the end. My last cache for the day!! Tftc!!
My son had a training day at the Scout Hall so I had a day of geocaching to occupy my time (we travelled over last night). Was an interesting day with floodwater, snakes and mosquitoes adding to the challenge. Has quite a few DNFs (expected with urban caches) but still made 19 finds (and 14 AdLab waypoints - 4 started but only 1 completed). Avenged a couple of DNFs and travelled around a lots of parts of town that I have never visited.
This is a very cool park so surprised no one here. Gave me the time to look hard but No luck. Got halfway up and realised I had to get the tool out of the car. With it in place I looked in various spots (certainly where I would place a cache) but no dice. Probably still there but eluded me today.
TFTC anyway AngusnmumyAdventures

Found it, not where I think it should’ve been. Placed where found and messaged CO. Happy still.
During a lunch break we thought we would head over to this cache and have a go! We were unsure what ToTT we would need to find it but we thought we would see how we went anyway. It took us quite a long time to find but eventually we had success and didn't need a TOTT in the end (thanks to my husband!). We really enjoyed the views from this location with the crops growing nearby. TFTC
We could not get to this one on our previous visit as we did not have a suitable TOTT with us, but today we came prepared and soon made the find.
After a longer stay in Tumut than we had originally intended it was time to move on. Time spent with family is never wasted though, so our time there was very well spent and much enjoyed.
We didn't move far however and have arrived in Wagga for a few days where we have caught up with Roosterman and Mrs Roosta again and then also joined by Rebel Acts. The team back together!
The weather has been variable and made approaching some caches challenging due to the accumulated water and mud. And boy has it been cold at times!
Still we have chased a variety of caches and managed to find some high D/T ones on our way.
Always a great time caching with good friends.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache AngusnMummy.

Coordinates had us in the middle of a triangle formed by 3 trees today, so was unsure where to start and what TOTT we would need. We had quite a few available!
Out with my trusty sidekick and our Tools if the trade. We checked this cache as we had a few recent DNFs...
But as I thought the cache was found exactly as was placed.
Keep trying guys!!
Happy caching

Unfortunately unable to find this one today. Spent 30 mins looking for it. Will try again another day
I woke up in the morning not even thinking about going to Wagga today, but unfortunately, my chair decided to brake, so I made a quick trip to Wagga to get a new chair. When I was at my brother's house and about to leave Wagga to go home, JohnoMawbs thought that I should find some caches on the way home, so, we went to Explorer Park, which is not that far from my brother's house to get these caches. The walk was very hilly to GZ, but great scenery and a quick find. TFTC!
PS: I also wanted to go on the flying fox, but it was way too hot to go on it.

Seeing this was also in the park we detoured over from the higher D cache. Being our own TOTT we searched a couple of spots before making the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
I joined a weekend away to 'The Rock' with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Nibletricecakes, Gliss! & Cosmonaut97. The main aim was a climb up the Lion of Kengal and the caches in the Olympic Highway Stock Reserve. We achieved everything on the agenda, even though some of took longer than expected. We had a great weekend staying at Baby&MrsGopher's place where the hospitality was fantastic. On Sunday afternoon I headed out by myself to Henty and Wagga Wagga. On Monday I spent the morning in North Wagga and on the Coolamon Highway.
My last day around the Wagga Wagga area took me to the northern areas.
Thanks for the cache AngusnMummy

With a long weekend looming plans were hatched to go and do some caching in Wagga
Wagga. So Rapidlywild and only the monkey half of the FFLL team hit the road on Friday after
work.
A lot of different caches were found while driving around the area enjoying the views and
the lovely weather.
After completing the two trails we picked up some caches on the way to get a bite to eat.
As we had a TOTT with us we decided to give this one a crack. Found it in the second place we looked.
Thanks for the hide AngusnmumyAdventures and thanks Rapidlywild for a successful weekend away.

With a long weekend in Canberra, a geocaching trip away was calling us. So FurfacesLL and myself made plans to hit the road and revisit Wagga Wagga to do some more caching. A large range of caches were collected, many terrain and some lovely country views enjoyed.
We had completed the trails nearby and the 2 caches in this park looked appealing. So with required TOTT under the arm, off we went. Located the cache in the second spot we checked, signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the hide AngusnMummy And thanks to FFLL for another fun weekend out and about the Wagga and surrounds region

Found with DarkSideDan (the path tag man) and Loci612.
We investigated a number of locations, and looked from a range of angles, before Loci612 found the well-hidden cache. Great views from up here.
Second-last cache of the day for me. TFTC!

**This Cache:**
Spotted the Terrain rating on this cache and decided it would be worthy of a stop as it sounded interesting. As we approached I thought it may be hidden in a similar manner to one of my own caches back home! But this one was slightly easier to access, but tough to find!
Got there eventually, thanks AmA!
**Today:**
Day 4 of the St. Arnaud mega with DSD and ZQX!
It was time to head all the way home today, via a completely different route, in parts of Australia that none of us have ever visited before! All in the name of grabbing some counties! We went through Northern Victoria up to Echuca, and then over the NSW border to Moama, through Deniliquin, Finley, Jerilderie, Narranderra and finally Coolamon and Wagga Wagga before heading home to Canberra! A very productive day collecting counties, with a few high D/T caches mixed in, and even a bonus virtual!
It was a long day with many km's and about 15 hours total on the road, it was good to get home and crash for the night!
Thanks to all the CO's for making it possible

I headed on into this neat parkland atop the hill this morning
And soon reached GZ.
With a read of the notes,
I thought I had worked out where the cache must be
So with a bit of construction work the ancient Egyptians would have been proud of,
I climbed high enough to peer into the 'hiding place'
Oops !!
With deconstruction of the edifice complete,
I headed over to somewhere I'd assumed couldn't possibly be hiding anything !!
And with just one TOTT this time around,
I found the cache in the fourth place I poked
Well that was fun !!
Good job nobody was watching [:o)]

9203. Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1145. When we saw this hide come up we were away interstate. This has been the normal for most of the year. Home for a week or two, so now is the time to make the find. After we had worked out where it was a case of how. Rolled a Rock and soon had the container in hand. SLK Tnx AngusnmummyAdventures A FP from us.
Went for a walk in the Explorer Park and the sheep have eaten most of the grass
leaving all the big rocks exposed, which made it interesting to walk through.
Had a chat with a local muggle, while waiting for others to move on.
When all was clear, the sneaky hide was located. Signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, AngusnMummy, for us and others to find.

Went exploring in Explorer's Park and found a couple of caches! This one gave us a bit of trouble so we had to return to the geo-truck to get some TOTT. Once we were organised it appeared a lot quicker than the first hunt. Well that was half the problem solved!
Love the estate - what a place to live! Thanks AngusnMummy for your sneaky cache - a fav for us.

Found a nice close car park in the new estate, a short walk up the path and this one was soon found, I was glad I was tall enough. had to avoid all the sheep in here on the way back to the car. Thanks for the cache.
We enjoyed this park except for the weather here today. It is bitterly cold and wet. Interesting play equipment and area. The sheep roaming around in here seemed perplexed at what we were doing. Great place for a cache. Thanks for placing it here.
We grabbed this one quickly but couldn't look for any more as we could see the rain closing in. It is a really lovely park land so a shame we didn't have a little longer as it isn't very large. Just too cold and wet today. Lucky this was a quick find or it would have had to wait for a future visit.
After attending the Mega Event we are now travelling around from cache to cache.
Arrived into Wagga staying at Wilkes park for a few days. After lunch & a rest we headed out into the country side.
In this park last time we were here looking for a Roostaman cache. With Bill's lucky stick we were able to reach this cache then return to it's hide

Wagga Wagga March 2019 trip. Day 3. The day started with and event and ten took me North to Coolamon to make a start on those caches before finishing in Wagga with the water pond caches. This is an interesting park on the hillside. It will be great for the locals. No luck for me here. I am not sure if I was looking in the right spot.
Thanks.

As I helped [@AngusnmumyAdventures](http://coord.info/PRRD6GG) place this cache in its little hiding spot I thought I would leave it to others to find before I claimed my find. Again it seams that there a lot of roosters around Wagga at the moment.
This is a very nice park where we had some pics of the grankids for Christmas pressies. At the time we sussed out some good areas for caches, which are now out of the question as they are to close to this one, oh well first in, best dressed. The tree picture is the one we were looking at.
This park is a nice little walking park with an adventure area for the kids. It does have sheep roaming around in it, I guess to keep down the weeds. However there are lots of bindi out there growing all over the paths, the council need to get out.
It is a lovely area just to go and sit and have quiet time, read a book or do nothing. Found it - off course, signed it, replaced it, now logged it.
Thanks for the cache that we found here today AngusnmumyAdventures, Lil Donna

With a day off and plans to head to Wagga, I decided to take the opportunity to attempt the Bed Rock trail down at ‘The Rock’. I chose this trail as it was going to finish all the caches around that area. I started the day off helping a CO with replacing one of his caches then headed to ‘The Rock’ and visit BMG. After that I headed for the trail. All caches were unique and enjoyable to find. Only two caches are in need of maintenance which I will place a message on those logs when I come to them. TB visit on all caches and I also got a new D/T combo. After the trail I headed into Wagga for lunch and to do the other things I needed to do. On my way home I stopped off to the new cache over near the tafe. Thanks Simber15 for the great trail and AngusnmumyAdventures for the other cache I found today. Today I found 18 caches and a few FP have been given out. TFTC’s!
Seeing how I help the CO with organizing the location for this one I decided on leaving the FTF to someone else which happened to be Roostaman. So, soon after arriving at GZ I made a very quick find and was on my way again. TFTC and now time to head home.

**# 23445** Found on a warm day for a drive and a walk up the road.
I left it a while and then realised nobody would be here early so decided to go have a look.
I know this place well after riding around here a fair bit lately.
GPS was not close at first and then I checked and found the new co-ords ..............
Started again and still had to search a fair area before opting to check something again.
When I managed to make it to the right spot I could finally see it.
It is well hidden and should be safe from muggle visitors.
Logged the *FTF* and then back to our base, out of the heat.
Thanks for the cache AngusnmumyAdventures,
