I am down under for the very first time. Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as , and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country! Today I spent another day in Brisbane. I really like this city and I discovered beautiful places. I also looked for many geocaches like this one. At GZ I found the cache easily. After signing the log I put the container back as found. Thank you for this geocache says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world
chasingadventures I found your cache Water Dragons and Mangroves on 4/8/2024, 12:50PM. This is my find 6882 and find # 8 today. A quick find with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
After parking adjacent to the clubrooms, we went for a jog across the oval, and our GPSr led us to the spectacular tree. The hint then led to a quick spot and find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks chasingadventures for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Luckily no mosquitoes about today!Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/[jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) stamp.----------Today, [@jesswrigley](https://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled across the river to Carindale for a three-year-old birthday party at miniBOUNCE. Baby Cottontail utilised the time travelling to nap, which provided an opportunity to visit a few geocaches in Norman Park and Coorparoo en route.
20/3/2024 Find #6914A solo day out and after a brief and unhappy maintenance check on a nearby-ish cache I decided to grab a few caches out this way. There was a school sporting event on nearby hampered parking, which seemed to be on the verge of wrapping up, but the cache was definitely far enough away out of view. Container had water inside and an insect nest of some sort on bottom which I tried not to harm. O drained the water and made my mark. Logbook ok as it is write in the rain paper. Thanks for the cache chasingadventures.
My daughter had a dance exam this morning on the east side of town so I had a couple of hours to look for some caches in a new area.I found a park near the AFL club and walked across to the creek. It was very hot today and getting close to the middle of the day so not many people around which made it easy to search. A first pass poke in all the holes turned up nothing but eventually I noticed something a bit odd which was hiding the cache. I was quite surprised at the size of the very well hidden container. Thanks chasingadventures for the clever hide in this lovely spot by the creek.
Accio 09:05:18Day one of my holidays ... and I am out here urban caching! Quick find here thanks to the hint. Thanks chasingadventures for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #11586}*

I was very happy when I saw the first painted rock that wasn’t made by us! We have been painted and putting rocks into large caches so it was a nice surprise. Put in a purple-painted shell for my friend Eco who painted those rocks and shells and went on my way! TFTC!
Hint was spot on! Glad we didn’t have to venture into the mangroves. Thanks for the cache.
No water dragons today!
Take care when searching, some broken glass around.

I spent the morning walking along parts of the Norman Creek bikeway finding caches, all easily, along the way. The lid was off and had fallen down into a crevice but I was able to retrieve it. The container was full of water so emptied it out and replaced the wet plastic bag. I was able to write on water proof logbook. Tftc
Waiting for a Physio appointment so decided to do a few caches while we wait. TFTC
Nice fun find, TFTC! Close call, the lid popped off and dropped down a hole! Used 2 twigs like chopsticks to retrieve
Found with Joshwyatt83
Was a little wet as the lid had not been replaced properly but was ok to sign

Checking on my cache after the recent floods vans delighted this one has survived really well log book and all! . I added some swag and replaced in its nook . Happy caching !
I think perhaps this is my second time here. I didn’t spend long looking as it was too muddy underfoot
Out for a walk post work to stretch the legs. It's a beautiful, cool, over cast day. I don't think I've walked this path before. Pip Pip joined today for a car ride The pathtag was indeed a beauty. Loved it. TFTC!
After work i decided to pick up a couple of smileys (2 in all ) . This was my second find for today and thanks to the hint i soon spotted the cache. What a great surprise i had when i saw a path tag in the cache. I love it and i see someone else will get a surprise as well. i placed the cache back as was and happily rode back to my car. Thankyou for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy and also the added surprise.
Replaced the cache, placed lower down with some camo to protect the longevity. Will update the hint when I get home. Cache on!
No luck with this one, had a good look in all the obvious crevices. Lots of rubbish around, and after looking at previous logs I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been muggled. Hopefully not.
Found pulled apart and on the ground. Signed and put back together. Hopefully it will last a little longer. TFTC
Morning footy game at the local grounds. Off to find some caches before the games start. Go Mustangs.

Found with our young family. Someone had left it open but we found the log and closed the cache back up.
Good one but was on the ground. We’ve put it safely away with a few leaves on top. TFTC
Found today lying on the ground. Rehid up out of harm's way with some natural camo.

Quick find was made here today while in the area. A few water dragons were spotted on the stroll to GZ, tftc
DisSister made the find here whilst I was still admiring the wonderful trees with their expansive root systems. TFTC
Found, beside a cup of rasberry Pepsi. I suspect someone snaffled the swaps as full of twigs. That has been addressed & T4TC
After an errand nearby, I pulled in at the nearest car park and was surprised to discover it was the Coorparoo AFL club. I reckon I would have played here in 1982 and not been back since.
Overcoming my nostalgia, I walked the long way around to avoid a muggle and dog sitting in the middle of the oval and then made short work of finding the cache in an excellent position.
TFTC where all is dry inside. A great little stroll today.

Out with the geoterrier having a late afternoon walk. My GPS was dancing all over the place but perseverance paid off.
Thanks, chasingadventures. I returned the cache with a bit more camo.

I imagine that this park is nowhere near as quiet as it is today when the airline industry is in full swing... I only had one plane pass overhead today... thanks to the covid...

Not far to walk. Not many others about this afternoon, don't they know it is international geocaching dsy. Tftv
Rolling up here today, a muggle was walking past so started taking photos of this ama-zing tree here at gz. Of course it elicited a conversation about said tree before she scuttled off and i could make the find.
Which was super quick, then on i rolled.
Thanks chasingadventures for the cache!

I made this way too hard for myself. After scratching around in the trees close to the creek bank, I stopped and consulted the difficulty rating again. Bingo! There it was. The cache was in plain sight, so after signing the log and returning it I gave it a bit more camo to keep it safe. TFTC
Late afternoon cache whilst attending a number of Team meetings. Quick find.

As I walked across the bridge and along the path I realised the previous cache was my #900 find. Lets get 901
It was pretty evident where this one was going to be. Ok, I read the hint this time and happy to say it was a quick find.
After signing log and swapping a cheetah for a 'my little pony' cache was replaced as found.

Next on my little list was this one. As I crossed the bridge and walked along the path I was hoping I'd find this.
I never take D/T rating for granted as I've been at a loss to find a 1/2 rating yet aced a much higher rating cache. Plus I've had a week of: too high, too hard and thwarted by workmen at the scene.
I need not have worried as after not even a full circuit I spied the cache
After signing cute little log and swapping a cheetah? for a my little pony, all was replaced as found.

Finding the last of my local caches this weekend ️Brought the geo fam with me here but I made the find! TFTC
Headed south early to try and find a few caches before the big gaseous ball in the sky made outdoor activities unpleasant.
A water dragon scurried away just as I arrived, right on cue, he must have known about the cache title

I took a bit of a stroll along the creek from a previous find, encountering magpies, ibis and a wee flock of ducks along the way, but only one other walker. I approached GZ with trepidation but was pleased to find it quickly and easily to the accompaniment of some voices on the creek. Glad I didn’t try this on game day! TFTC, chasingadventures. =^.^=
After attending the Vision 2020 event nearby, I ventured out to grab a few more caches in the area. A quick find, SL then returned as found.
