Find # 1273014/9/2024 Met up with Stinjali for a cycle around Lake G after our initial plans to do a section of the Centennial Trail were aborted due to a lack of planning. Also not convinced that Stinjalis was up for a cross trek. And so a loop of LG was the default option.We managed a super quick loop in <30mins, and when I suggested another lap this time to pick up some caches, seemed like a good idea.Only one DNF, and it turns out that was because my coords were out All finds very straightforward here today, and caches in good condition. Looks like access to the foreshore here is currently closed while they work on the paths.
I decided after the CITO today I'd make good use of the weather today and pick up some caches in the area.Took me a couple of minutes to find, mainly due to the area being infested with muggles... argh. But once I spotted the hidey hole, I collected a natural TOTT and got the cache out fairly easily.I had fun doing this, the muggle factor definitely made it harder too, thank you Flintstone's for the cache!

After the nearby event I wandered over to find this one. I was hoping that I could retrieve the cache without first returning to my car for any special tools, so I was happy when I was able to improvise as needed. The cache was in hand pretty quickly and I was able to sign & replace before a couple of muggles appeared on the scene shortly thereafter. TFTC.
Found It!A quick find here before the nearby event. The hardest part was extracting it from it's hiding spot. I guess I should've brought along some tweezers...TFTC
Found on a early morning walk. Really nice park and area in Belco. Quick find, and managed to use an improvised tool to retrieve the cache. TFTC!!! #2180

Found this one OCW cherryfromtheblock on a beautiful Friday afternoon after work. This one had us looking for a bit before we made the find.
We decided to try our luck with the scooters and rented a couple to zoom around the lake going from traditional to traditional while trying to figure out how the scooter, the app and the no ride zones worked.
Ended up in a no ride zone that we had been able to ride quite a way into and had to push the scooters out but all in all a very enjoyable afternoon.

There were muggles metres away from us but still managed to get it! Nice cache!
It only took a few minutes of looking to find the suspected container. but that was followed by a few more trying to identify the correct extraction method. The leather-man proved its worth once again.

Lovely walk around Lake Ginninderra today, exploring and finding caches along the way. Can relate to the name of this cache well. Stealthily found and returned it, the fisherman didn't even notice! Sneaky spot, but we have experience in these finds. TFTC
Rainy days are perfect for geocaching cos they ward of the muggles. That said, thunder is rumbling as I write this so id best be getting home …

Out today to do the whole of section 4 of the CCT. Started off well and was collecting a lot of caches. However, I did get a bit carried away and before you know it is 8pm. Had to quickly ride home to be in time for dinner. I did have a really good time though and picked up 20 caches on the way and rode over 55km. Good day. TFTC!

I thought a GC would be a nice way to break the ice between my daughter and her 4th cousin who we just met today at a picnic, they were both excited to find this, tftgc.
Found after this afternoon's NYE event. I attempted this one a while ago without success but today I had almost an immediate find. Cool hide at a very cool location that I always love to revisit; kids would have a blast here (also given the name of the park). Lovely views too. TFTC Flintstone's and Dino!

Taking advantage of a picture postcard day, me and IamCoust decided to pick up caches on lake ginninderra, some newly minted, and others that I had not found. Disembarked from kayak, with IamCoust looking chilled seated in his kayak directing me to cache and quick find. Nice location with ducks the only curious observers about. Tftc
My first ever Geocache! Found it with my gf. Super exited to not be a muggle anymore. Great spot!
Quick and easy find at GZ in the obvious spot, log is completely full and requires a new log. Signed as MB (in special sparkly purple pen). Thanks for the cache!
When we arrived at GZ the object for inspection was apparent. After checking a few possibilities, the taller member of the team saw something interesting. Using a local tool the excellent hide was extracted. The cache and contents are not in good condition although the logs are full and need replacing. Thanks for a well planned and presented cache. It earns a favourite from us.
