Im pretty sure I found the wire but no container

No luck, believe we found where the cache should be though. Lots of rubbish in the area

Today was a day trip to Rotorua. We visited a few lakes and a nice cafe for lunch.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs.Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

I'm in Rotorua for 2 nights and a planned CITO today by FMZ just north of here for the GC45 celebration and a bit of a clean up. I'm taking along the usual Gorby cafe and have a pile of caches on my list needed for various challenges I'm working on.

I had plans to walk up the big hill next to here for the earth cache but seeing as I got up late at the YHA, it turned out I wouldn't have enough time to do it before the CITO, so that will be done on a future trip.

I parked the van pretty close, did take me a while to find the correct tree, size wise they all looked the same to me, but there it was, the cache, so signed in, all fine here today carrollfamilynz.

Great to duck off the main road and grab this one. Carefully dodged the odd biohazard (perhaps the Council should add a toilet in the area) and quickly spotted the cache (cheers for the bright colours!). Onwards to Tauranga rather than a dip in the creek - I’ve had that pleasure previously though. TFTC!!

On my way to kerosine creek. Luckily the container wasn't camoflauge, tftc!

We found the cache during a short walk in the evening after a short search.

We stayed the night at Cerosene Creek and in the evening, we did a hike as we had spent most of the day in the car. This was a nice easy find as the hint was very helpful.

On the way home after spending a few days in Rotorua with family. Took me two days to get up there, will probably be a couple of days getting back. This cache being one of the reasons.

Walked into the trees, not finding anything. Turned around and THE RED SCREAMED AT ME!! There it is!!

Great find. Coordinates were slightly off so took us a bit longer to find it. Didn’t have a pen so we weren’t able to sign it.

School Holidays so time for a tiki tour and some caching. Heading down to an event in Sanson, Winter Warmer IX. Quick detour for this find. Thought about a swim but decided to leave it for another day. Thanks for the smiley.

Left the muggles to get dressed as I wandered down the potholed road to the cache. I thought I was going to have trouble locating a micro in the forest but no a very vivid and thoughtful sign helped. T4tc

We had weekend event at the Forest Camp. We ran passed here but I wasn't stopping for a cache. On the way out this morning we stopped off. Headed in and spotted the brightly coloured container. Thanks for the placement Carrollfamilynz.

Stopped off over here on our way north to Rotorua and made an hour stop at Kerosene Creek just up the road. Great cache and loved the colour identification. Made it much easier to find. Thanks for the brief stop en route to one of our favourite places in NZ..

Was starting to wonder if Mr Geckoh had got lost so went to help him with the search only to get there and find he had it in hand. Saw a pair for kids old shoes on the way out, no kid though!! TFTC

Heading to rotorua from hastings for a night away. Have stopped in at kerosene creek previously for a soak and we're pleased to see a cache down here. It did take us a little bit to find but easy to spot when in the correct place.

After a while of searching I could find the red one a few meters southwest of the rest of a dead sheep. My Lottikind and I signed the log.

Found with a sister during our expedition to NZ (from CZ), where we explored part of the North Island and could visit our classmates and friends that we have not seen for several years, as it is here, in Auckland and Napier live ... Thank you for cache ...

Thankfully this was a nice bright colour as it was tricky to get a fix on which tree but Mrs Jag eventually spied the cache

We found on our way out from Kerosene creek. We ignored the first part of the hint, and soon spied the cache hanging at chest height. Such a shame there is so much rubbish near GZ!

Ein Ausflug, der sich richtig gelohnt hat mit freiem Eintritt. Richtig tolles warmes Wasser und wunderschöne Landschaften. Davon gerne mehr. Ganz nebenbei haben wir diesen nicht zu übersehenen Cache mit eingesammelt. Der springt einem ja förmlich ins Auge.

Heute stand für fazzyOne und mich eine Tour rund um Rotorua an. Wir waren bei den heißen Quellen und bei Hells Gate. Auf dem Weg konnten wir einige spektakuläre Fotos machen und ein paar schöne Caches besuchen.

A great day caching after have an event at Horohoro mcjandals and I decided to travel down here Lucky she was with me and told me what to look for. Very busy down this road today TFTC

Decided we had had enough of house and garden chores and needed a break. These new caches were a good reason. Mr S soon found this one. There was lots of traffic on the road and they probably wondered what was a camper doing, parked there?.

It was time to assemble Team BOP as I hadn't seen these crazy people since the Mega. The plan was Taranaki via the Forgotten World Highway and we were all pretty excited about it. It was a big couple of days so forgive the cut'n'paste logs as I'm logging retrospectively and a few of the hides are starting to blur together. The cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. TNXPro, McJandals, Davidson Clan & myself signed our logs individually or as TEAM BOP depending on time, log space or mood. Cheers & TFTC

After our round trip around Taranaki, it was late when we got here and we were still hopeful for a FTF.
We were tired and spent a long time here amongst the Pines, Pine needles, human shite rubbish and chopped up carcass of god knows what, to name just a few.
I really couldnt understand why you would want to bring anyone here, especially knowing how disgusting it is.
Couldnt wait to leave the area, but that may have something to do with the fact that it was nearly midnight and I was still 2 hours away from my bed and its been a long trip.
Count me out for any CITO in this area.

My niece asked if she could stay the night, and it was a good excuse to get out of the house for a cache ride... We were quite disappointed by the rubbish at ground zone, but the ramp only makes dumping easier. Right away, we had trouble with the search... We found the hint unhelpful, so dismissed it... Where does one start pacing from? How big is a pace? In the end, we did a systematic search. After some effort, we spotted something... TFTC.

Due to the request for CITO, we decided to get the ball rolling... There is a bin down the road at the Kerosene Creek carpark. We challenge all others to do a bit of rubbish removal when visiting.

We have spent a awesome week end away in New Plymouth on a spur of the moment roadie with Phillip.Perry, TNXPRO and Davidson Clan from the Bay of Plenty. We stopped by here about 11pm on our way home took way to long for four of us to fins this cache but it was dark and we were tired and cache was covered in pine needles .

Cheers Well we were on our way home from a big weekend in The Naki and had word that our main road was closed due to an accident, so very late at night decided to take our chances at being first here to fill in time, so armed with head lamps we searched around and around, dodging poo, meat bones and rubbish, gps’s and phones were jumping all over the place and my 23 steps left me in the open. We’re starting to think we might have to bail when the “Found It” shout sounded, then the cursing LOL. Pipped at the post!! Oh well 2TF is fine too. Maybe think about a cito event here this year??
