I ignored the hint and made an easy find today. I never knew this building was here. TFTC
I looked and looked where the hint said, but came up empty every time. I was about to give up when I saw one more place that needed to be checked. TFTC.
Travelling around South Island for 2 weeks while in NZ. Finding caches here and there. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
Today was us travelling from Mosgeil to Invercargill and stopping for a few caches alonh the way. Many thanks to the COs for placing these caches.

Great piece of history attached to this cache, have been meaning to call in and get this one on my way past, and today was the day. TFTC
A quick and easy find on a road which was relatively quiet. A lovely hot and sunny Invers day. Tftc
Driving northwards& this seemed close to SH1 - which it is; somehow I overshot & there was a nearby road - but it was rather a long "block"" to go around - silly me.Anyway, it was good to find this one; thanks for the cache, KiwiStag.
With the Event on in Invercargill on Sunday why not make a weekend of it...3 days of caching down South woop woop nice quick find here TFTC

StreetWalkerNZ and I were on the road heading north before 8am to try and beat the forecasted rain. It caught up with us as we approached Gore , but luckily it only lasted an hour or so.
Another short detour and a location with good off road parking. A quick find. TFTC.

Friday 6 November. We are off exploring Waituna Lagoon and Seawards Downs today. Its a beautiful sunny day today.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Quick detour of the main road to grab this in the way to Invercargill. Easy find here. Tftc
Decided that with overseas trips on hold to spread out my annual leave and take a long weekend away from Dunedin. It was a chance to head to down and see some caching friends and go out caching in an area which is very green on the app map.
As it was a second lovely day with a warm wind and a duck race to attend, I spent the morning going around Queens Gardens and surrounding area for the adventure labs and some of the multis.
Thanks to all of the COs, I smashed out the last 100 points (and more) for the memory lane souvenir collection.

[NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) is definitely happening, but has been postponed until 2021. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 22 to 25 October 2021. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20+ years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

Quick find! I am glad I did not get stuck in the amazing amount of gravel with the little rental car! TFTC!!
Found on a caching two day journey into Central Otago and Southland with Bitsprayer. Really enjoyed the challenge of the puzzle caches and the many hours spent to unravel the coordinates. Also great to travel along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
First cache today as I head over to Jack's Bay to find a cache on an island and hopefully a few others
Quick find - had no idea this hall was here

Found on our way back into Invercargil. Jude-E and I are on a geocaching trip to the deep south. Instead of driving down from Christchurch we decided to get a cheap flight down. Thanks kiwistag for placing this geocache 8001 find for me.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.

Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

Day 2 of a 3 day caching venture with Nosynel. We have a few goals in mind, especially the TMGT caches and Bluff Hill. We have done all we hoped to do today. Everything else, such as this cache, is a bonus. Thanks for the hide.

Ooh a new cache published near one of the farms my muggle used to work on. I am wery familiar with these gravel roads and how they criss-cross the countryside, often coming past where MrsChosen has her Cairn cache (I have one of those too) and cut across the main road to home. I never paid much attention to this building. I thought it was some scout hall involved with the Longbush school and never blinked an eyelid at it. Long have I heard stories of pilots Hannibal Hayes and Nelson Thompson involved with the live deer recovery from pens in the hills from my muggle. Admittedly the logbook was signed shortly after the commotion of the FTF furore had calmed down and I hadn't been back to pop any TB's in the P&G cache so I would have missed the weed spraying and cache drift. It had been a bit slippery going crossing the carpark over the gravel store remains and once looking past the co'ods, a clear hint produced the red and cream coloured cache clearing some duff away and after signing the hard-covered logbook that wasn't bagged and one swap left in cache; I threw in a freshener and pencil with a decent accompaniment of swag grabbed in a white PVC baggy, it's quite full now for a 1Lt. While the CO had just the one hide that was banged over the mega year, the last cache attempted recently is still missing pending replacement by either the Farmer or his Son. Now I'm curious to see where the cache has been shifted to. I have dredged buried caches from gravel before, such fun! finding caches after they have been archived. But no one is laughing when I break a nail, so I'll try not to get too covered in blue dye. Thanks for a fresh new swag cache Kiwistag, if we don't see you at any of the open community gatherings this year, I look forward to more of your caches. DDay **Carnival 3pt**
*Cache is hidden where it was last found months ago, dry, ok and full of swag. Chucked in a couple of pens since the kiddyboos broke the pencil SL. No sign of dye so it must have washed away. CITO*

Quick and easy find, had to try and find this one since its near my old kindy. TFTC
Good to knock this one off the closest to home list, stopped by and signed the log on the way home from town. TFTC
Last cache today after spending a scorching day at Kaka Point. Found with Tuitigger. There's a number of large piles of gravel at GZ, it appears some roadworks in the immediate area are imminent. That being said it might pay to keep an eye on this cache so it doesn't get covered or go walkies. Tuitigger made a joke about losing my keys in the gravel, nice one mate, if you lose mine in that gravel you'll be going in headfirst to find them lol. TFTC
Grabbed the INGRID TB while driving to the air port. Heading to the North Island and I see that it hasn't seen that Island.
There we were Friday evening; had met up with TT and GV. Can’t remember why, oh that’s right - after a hot day at work it seemed like a good idea. Pizza and salad, in cool environment; followed by a Red Box visit for 5 cent notebooks (must be a few caches coming up). Hadn’t quite got to checkout when TT said there was a new cache alert, Alert, ALERT!!
Quickly, let’s go.
Tried to scan the notebooks, but “Oh - we have to scan them one by one”. Come on...
In the car, combine rides, mrandmrs had the advantage (the doors automatically lock once up to speed).
And mrs had us travelling at speed (FTF on the table?)
Arrived at site, hint in hand, cache in hand.
BOOM!!! that’s how you FTF while shopping in town.
In all the excitement, someone left something behind....
The alternative story is we liked it so much we went back to watch for 2nd to finders lol
