This weekend plans were hatched with Rapidlywild to head down the highway to attend the three events in Wagga Wagga and pick up some more caches around the area.After the fishing outing we continued to do some more around the area before heading back to Canberra.Another quick one at this one. FurfacesLL #1 reached out and asked if I would be keen on a Wagga weekend, sure sounds like fun. So plans were put into place that we headed East after work and planned to be in Wagga in time for the evening dinner event. It was a fun weekend away, caught up with cachers we know and new cachers too. Onto Sunday in Wagga, started off with a morning event (most came with coffee in hand, will admit, I needed some too lol). A nice turnout for a morning event. Chatter between cachers commenced and plans were made. We decided to go fishing this morning and a few other teams joined in, including the CO's. Once we had finished the fishing with the group, FFLL and I went to do some more cleaning up where we could before heading home. Creative hide, didnt fool us thought Signed and replaced as found.Thanks for the cache placement LilDonna_ and thanks for another enjoyable weekend away FFLL.

We found ourselves in Wagga again today for athletics and had a little time afterwards to find a cache. This was a beautiful spot for a late lunch after we found this special cache. Thanks for the effort that went into creating this container. The owner might want to have a look at the magnet as it is not sticking anymore. TFTC. Fp awarded.

No luck

Visiting after my husband had his army March out parade we were at the park with the kids. Completely ill prepared I checked if there were any caches meat by and this one came up 40m away. Great I thought the realised I had no pen so searched through the backpack and found a texta - great. Off I went and with the hint I made the find pretty quick. Grabbed my texta to sign - invisible ink!!! Ran back to the backpack and found a pen - unfortunately the ink in this one fades too as part of my daughter's learning to write books (so they can be reused!!!) So here is a picture of the log to prove I found it. Great hide favourite point got this one

In town this morning to tackle a few caches in and around the gardens and zoo, so it was great to be able to start a day early grabbing a quick coffee and then out to grab a few smilies. Found this super cool hide after a short search. After a DNF here about two years ago, l was pretty chuffed to have this frowney now a smilie! Interesting story behind this one too, thanks LilDonna for the hide. Fave point added.

Out and about with Happy Pants, The Empire and Happy Feet after we managed to organize a couple of nights away.
It was great to be back in Wagga. First time I have visited since I served here in the late '80s. It certainly has changed
Another early morning coffee and fuel stop before heading out to clean up some of the many local caches. A good time had by all with memories made and laughs had.

Found this hide while caching with the crew, for a few days around Wagga. A nice find while in the area.

We were with 'The Crew' in Wagga Wagga for a few days of caching fun! The trails were yesterday, today we were cruising around town, picking up some cool caches and completing Adventure Labs.

Starting out with a wander around the botanical gardens, we grabbed this cache first in the carpark. Signing caches with either a stamp, multiple stamps, hand written names or 'The Crew'. Thanks for the cache LilDonna_.

After a wonderful walk around the Botanic Gardens, we came to visit this one before we left.
The title of the hide immediately aroused our curiosity, and we enjoyed reading about ‘10 pound Poms’, the history, and the dedication that someone has made to give this area a great future.
It was lovely to read about Harry Self, his life, and his contribution to Wagga. The gardens are certainly lovely.
At GZ, the coordinates are accurate and so it was a quick find.
We did marvel at the engineering of this Hide.

Found yesterday while out with family the kids loved this one was a great find for them

Out for a day with the daughters in Wagga. Noticed this cache was close to the park we were at so we wandered over. I sent the kids in but things were too heavy. Looked around a little more before decided I had to clarify things for myself. The cache was soon in hand after that. Tftc!!!

Wagga . Travelling with pprass
We have set up camp at the Drovers Rest. So many AL & very hard puzzles to be solved. Many still unsolved waiting for our next trip for the grey matter to kick in.
This morning we were out on our own while pprass attended to buisness.
My Dad was also a 10 pound pom.
The location & the clever hide construction are worth a FP

Came to Wagga Wagga with Tankengine initially to attend an event or two, but due to unforeseen circumstances the events were cancelled. But we thought why not come anyway, there are so many caches here we have to pick up and there will be plenty more the next time we come back when the events are live again.

Nice to finally locate this cache. Been meaning to come past and officially find this one for a while. Unfortunately was a quick stop while on my way home from a brief outing. Log was damp but due to this being an unplanned stop didn't have my kit with me to bag log to prevent further water damage. TFTC

This is her second day caching so i must say its fun to see someone get so excited all over again

We arrived in Wagga today on our slow trip north, hoping to leave the cold weather behind us after being locked down all winter last year. We may be running a little slow and late! The days have been quite nice, but the nights have been quite cold. Our water hose froze last night! Must remember to disconnect and drain it tonight.
As we arrived in the early afternoon we focussed on a couple of Adventure Labs but also picked up a few other caches en route. This was one of them.
The GPSr was a little vague in getting here, but we finally managed to park near GZ. From there it led us to the right area and the find was soon made.
Some good work on the hide.

Last time I came by here I didn't feel right searching for a cache with cars parked all along here so gave it a miss. This time I came on a weekend and could park within 10m of GZ, making the search much easier.

After attending the Event at Lake Albert we all went to the zoo to have a look around (we had not been here before). After eventually succeeding with the AL I wandered with the dog over to this cache and was greeted with a car parked in the carpark and even though it was running they sat there a looooong time.
Came back 10 minutes later and they were gone and I eventually found the heavy cache and signed the log.
