At last, a clear day we can get out into the field and do some caching. North and west of our personal GZ today. Clever! The cache was a bit exposed, and needs a new log. Many thanks to the CO for this cache.
Day #2 Leaping Forward AdventuresAfter leaving my dinner event in town and high tailing it across to Colac for the night, today was a journey to eventually cross the SA border, at some point. How many stops will there be? .A quick park and grab on the welcome side of this journey. Log book is a little rusty but still able to be signed no problems. Thanks McLookers for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Are you ready to nominate in the 2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards? Time for Mr. Lazy aka JTreeTrack2 to catch up on some logs. Sorry to the cache owners for the lag. I have enjoyed finding every cache I have found and appreciate all the effort that has gone in to placing and maintaining the caches. Hopefully I will find more caches and give a more timely and personalized logThanks again for placing the cache.
On my last 3 weeks of my visit from the US to see family (halfmugglemum). Getting some geocaches done while I can.Quick park and find.

Hello Warrion.
This one could use a new logsheet.
We weren't really targeting trads on this trip, but we were chasing 30 caches in ColacOtway County.
It was going to be too cold for getting too far away from the geomobile, so our preliminary plans were changed to suit conditions. We found ourselves in Colac instead of on a mountain or on a river, and every time we stepped out of the car for another parkngrab we were grateful for the burst of wisdom we had late in the planning stages of our weekend's activities.
Having signed all the challenge caches that we had travelled this far to find early in the day, our attention soon turned to other caches and there were plenty for catnap777 and I to choose from. We were kept busy well into the night.
This was a quick stop which suited us just fine.

Cache found and log signed with dalerious .
Stop Warrion whether you're coming or going, snd just get there .
Well get there we did, and we enjoyed all the caches in this well kept, quaint town.
Thank you McLookers, it seemed to be a jam packed McLookers weekend .
Our plans changed for our adventures this weekend largely to the weather forecast. We had planned some serious hiking in Lerderderg, with some awesome paddling in the mix as well, but the news on the weather front had us running for the Otway's, the lure of signing Challenge caches too strong to dismiss.
We missed most of the rain, but I can tell you that the temperature froze the balls off our brass monkey .
We enjoyed some awesome caches around the area; quite a large array of multicaches and some quality mystery caches, as well.
We also filled in our short time in the area by attending 2 events, which is always a good thing.

I found this one easy as I'd found the other one already! I now have all the caches in Warrion, lol. Thanks for placing these here.
Guessing that this hide would be the same as the other one I knew where to look straight away. I was right! I also noticed that there is an end piece missing from the other container. It makes a lot more sense now. There’s a nice view of Warrion Hill from here. The few buildings in town are interesting to look at, but I do love the blue church the most! It’s a pity about the stone walls though. TFTC
Love the paired caches. Nice fun hide. Thanks for the detour into these lovely quiet roads
A hello from us. A quick park and grab. I'm going to look around a bit too, looks a lovely place.
Found with FUF009.
My 1st chance to get out of the City and I took some leave. It was also my birthday on the Friday.
We had initially planned to go camping but the weather wasn't so hot so day trips it is! And actually this was a great day trip. I love the countryside and the open road.
This weekend felt "normal" again after so long apart and in various lockdowns.
Today we drove and drove and drove. And I was a passenger so could enjoy it more.
Straightforward find. Tftc

Off for a long day, (550+ km drive) to cache around Beeac, Cressy and Rokewood and grab the odd ones out n about.
We left at around 8am and got back home just after 11pm.
Quite the variety of caches found. And in some cool locations too, from lookouts, lakes, salt flats to a plethora of surrounding paddocks, the odd tree climb and a short stroll down a dirt track, the day had it all.
Another quick park n grab.

Catching up with late logs.
Heading home from visiting dad in Portland we thought it was time to stop and grab a few caches that have popped up and some we have just passed as we were in a hurry.
These two caches were a matching pair and a nice easy hello goodbye or booby hello which ever way you were traveling. Both were found nice hides and both were found quickly now both logs contain our name.
Many thanks again McLookers for the hides and the nice containers.

Good choice of container and a big log sheet. Good stuff Tania.

It had been a while since I had been out west and seeming there was an event on today it surely was a great excuse to wander out this way to find some caches. Tagging along with Stemicmitsar for the day we had planned to clear out the area of multi's and other little bits and bobs.
Avoiding the rains fairly efficiently between caches and meeting many other friendly faces on the road after the event, the day was a success with no real issues.
Thanks for the caches and the adventure.

As there was an event happening in Beeac today, it was a good excuse to head out this way to find a few caches as well as attending the event of course.
My caching companion for the day buhfuhguh and our plan was to target a few multi caches and letterboxes around the area.
We thought that we would get this little group before heading South.
this one was a lot quicker to find than the first one for obvious reasons.
This one was goodbye for us but we did turn around and headed back through the town.
*Cache count for the day so far;*
7 Multi Caches
1 Letterbox Cache
1 Event Cache
10 Lab Caches
1 Puzzle Cache
4 Traditional Caches

After enjoying exploring Beeac this morning, our small group (us, micaparamedic, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506) started heading towards Alvie and Red Rock. This was a nice quick find on the way. TFTC McLookers.

A 5 day caching run, over the 2020/2021 New year period saw me leave on the Thursday the 31st of December and travel to the Brisbane Ranges, down to Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Portland, the up to Heywood, Dunkfield and Horsham, camping along the way. On the Saturday I met up with my caching partner, ilukaperi at the home of choocknchunk, where we spread the coronavirus around as much as we could. Enjoyed some 4wding around the Mt Cole area before making our way back home on the Monday.
This was my first day. Leaving home from Emerald, I travelled through the city and down towards Warrnambool. Grabbing some select caches along the way and nabbing some others just because. Had a great mix of caches today and at the end of the day found a campsite by a lake to see in the new year, quietly, by myself
This one wasn’t on my list for the day, but I was driving past and thought, Why not? Well, I couldn’t come up with an answer to that question, so I stopped and grabbed the cache after a short hunt. TFTC!

Our first find for the day and an easy one to get the tally started on our first visit to this area. Thx for placing this cache McLookers, a great incentive to head down these back roads.

Out Geocaching for my Birthday. This one was our first for the day and found by Team Autumns grandma.
Happy to say hello quickly today. The road was busier than expected. Spotted what I wanted and headed on through and back out to say goodbye later. Thanks McLookers
My caching life seems to be somewhat back to normal with four FTF's in three days.
I was down here two days ago and now there is another one so what do you do jump in the White Beast which now has a full tank after being caught out last time.
Gee the farmers must be happy now as the crops are growing much higher and better than for a few years and also I noted that some farmers are starting to cut the grass so a bumper year for the hay season as well. They may even get a second cut as it looks as if the rain may keep falling.
I was confused which cache was which but I guess it does not matter much.
Thanks for placing.

A day out caching with AusFox; for the first time since lock down. We were looking mainly at some lab caches but could pass up a few extras as we passed by.
After our quick trip into and through Warrion it was time for our Goodbye. I this time was able to make the quick find before saying Gooodbye to the town.
Thank you McLookers for bringing us here

Hello for me!
Today I had a solo geo day which I haven’t done is a very long time. It was lovely to drive, listen to my audiobook, work on many multis and find some easy caches in some beautiful locations. All were found without too many issues. Many thanks for the cache.

Out on a cache run with kenare and kenbryl today so we could get out of the house. Heading home, so a goodbye from me. Cigc. Tftc
Heading out of town so this is a Goodbye for us today. Next time it might be a Hello when we come back for the multi. Unfortunately we couldn’t make the find on that one due to neighbours putting up new fences. It was great to drive passed and see people enjoy the eased covid 19 restrictions. Tftc
Easy find on an evening with a glorious sunset behind the Warrion Hills. The container is letting in water (rusty) so the next finder might bring a ziplock bag for the log. TFTC
Its great to come and check these country towns out.
This was one if you blinked you'd miss.
Lucky for me I had a chance to stop.
A quick search and I was signing the log.

Where does one pass by from head? Head to? Unless heading into Colac for milk and bread, the traffic North seemed rather quiet. Nobody to pay enough attention to q cacher checking out a sign, for not your usual magnetized mint tin. Some quality caches for this small little town.
On a drive to cressy to pick up some baby chicks and come across this cache so obviously had to stop. Tftc
On the way home from the event in Camperdown and managed a quick goodbye and hello. Thanks McLookers
On a freezing cold afternoon LumpyJ decided it was lumpyR's turn to brave the elements and fetch the cache. TFTC

Another easy find and there is nothing wrong with that! Thanks to McLookers for making these rural places more rewarding.
With three events out west, the temptation was too much. So after an early start, I headed to the first event, then teamed up with Alansee and Phetlern for the rest of the day. Having found the one on the other side of town, this was a no brainer find.
My thanks to McLookers for the cache.

Well, its goodbye to Warrion on this occasion as we head to Cressy but not before locating the last cache in town. We had a pretty good idea what to look for here and we were right, another well manufactured hide that fits in perfectly with its surroundings.
Thanks McLookers for the well crafted cache.

It was hello today for Suscoe as we continued our drive further to the west.
The sun was starting to peep through by the time we had arrived at Warrion.
We feel sad for these little towns with the old shops closed up.
However. back to the cache.
Found and logged which was nice to do.
No traffic on the road while we were here.

We just happened to be in the right place at the right time today. Fancy that, a new cluster of caches in Warrion! After completing the sister cache on the other side we had a good idea of what we were after here. Chuffed to find the logbook blank and a chance to nab a FTF. TFTC!
