The temporay fence is still in place. We've no idea when a new one is due to be installed, so we'll archive this cache until such a time. Hopefully it won't take too long...
Visited GZ today (after a cuppa and some cake with nanna and poppa). There is still a temporary fence in place, so will check again in a few weeks.
Spoke to the people that live near the cache and a stolen car was driven into the fence where the cache used to be. A new fence has been put up so it is likely the cache is no longer there or accessible.
Looked around for a while but gave up. Sometimes its the easy ones that stump you most. We will be back
Caching today on the water with RoddyC grannysmith1947 snickersallan Patrol14 imbunda and the TBUs. Always seems to be a dot out there that needs a smile.

After our early morning paddle along Burpengary Creek, we are now caching on land and this was on our way back.
Found easily but a mishap with the container and RoddyC replaced it, so all good now.

A very early morning trip up from the Gold Coast to venture out on the water for an enjoyable paddle and some land based caches with Team TBU's, grannysmith1947, patrol14, hatzofff, RoddyC and Imbunda.
All caches found today were in good condition, and a special thank you goes to all the CO's for placing them.

Oh, no. Just finished signing this one and it slipped out if my fingers and down into the depths of the long grass, unreachable. I could see the log sheet but not the base.
Back to the geovehicle for a new cache and log book.

after a day at the local Mens Shed, came down here to make a find, with hint was very quickly spotted, signed, and replaced, Thanks Team Weller, all is in good condition
Today, I joined ruzzelz for a kayak paddle along Burpengary Creek, targeting the recently published *Bird Sanctuary* puzzle caches, and other interesting geocaches. An enjoyable paddle adventure with a few terrific creek sections, although it was longer than we had anticipated.
As the rain drizzle started to fall, I visited a few other geocaches in the area, including the *Moore Road* trail series, before then heading west to Burpengary for a late lunch, where I also completed the [Points of interest in Burpengary](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/655391cd-4c30-407b-85ba-350e98fe280c) Adventure Lab. By this time, with increasing rain intensity, I travelled back home, and with a small weather window, I took a few final stops in Chermside and Stafford Heights.
There was a car that was leaving from the nearby property, and I thought I was going to at least get a stop and chat, but they seemed to drive on and ignore my presence. It took a few thoughts before understanding the hint, and I think I was inspired by the hinted sign itself, which connected the dots. From there, the cache was spotted, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. It felt like there was a fairly nice car that may have been dumped nearby too? No sign of a wasp nest that chamad mentioned in his log. Thanks Team_Weller for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After a paddle in the tinny with Karicka, we found a few nearby caches. Bold move putting a cache on a private property sign. Thanks for the fun Team_Weller
I was out today chasing a few caches and trying to keep a few challenges alive. Somehow, I found myself down this way. I had been down this area before and had a couple of DNF’s. Today I am glad to say I got to avenge those and add a couple more to my tally. There was no one around here today so I quickly signed the log, replaced as I found it and quickly got out of there before I was spotted. Thanks for the cache, all good with this one.
Watch out for the wasp nest fence side of the sign. They bite!

Team_Weller I found your cache Down the road from Nanna and Poppa's house on 5/10/2022, 4:10 pm. This is my find 4341 and find # 17 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Tftc Team Weller, we are camped just up the road, a quick tour of the area led us here.

Our first ever geocache find, also down the road from our Nanny and Poppa! Thanks
It was very hard because the description said that it was a box but locked like a lock. If I didn’t open it we would of never found it.
Out with 1Minniemoo for a much delayed Wednesday together.
We didn't make a plan seeing as we only confirmed at the last minute, so we headed to an adventure lab and then onto this cache and a few others in the area.
We weren't sure we would locate this one but it didn't take that long.

It has taken wombles and co and I most of the term, scratch that, year so far to actually get a Wacky Wednesday out and about together caching. But today, Term 2 week 8, we finally did it!
A slightly more delayed morning start than anticipated due to a teenager in go-slow mode, and a lack of a proper plan, meant we didn’t actually know where we were headed once I had collected wombles. However we soon decided on some close-by caches as there was distinct possibility we would have to keep the day slightly shorter anyway.
This was to be our first cache of the day. We pulled up, knowing about the DNF but expecting to be able to make a find here. A bit of a search where we thought wasn’t achieving anything other than the discovery of a wasps nest, so we began to check if it had perhaps fallen.
It was then that wombles realised it was hanging, just in a slightly different spot than expected.
Log signed our day had officially started.
Thanks for the cache Team_Weller.

Good luck!!
There's been a few DNF, so I'll check this out next time I'm over at Nanna and Poppa's house
Did not find thought it might be behind sighn but didnt want to stick hands behind it
We had a nice drive down around this area this morning with a few caches in mind. Unfortunately we did not find this one.
No luck today.. hint is cool thought we were on the right track, to no avail however
Looked and looked but no luck. Thought we had a good idea using the clue but nothing!
After finding Boat Ramp this was my next stop... I was still on the phone... but I managed to read the hint... it wasn’t until I was on the way back to the car that the penny dropped... clever...
After visiting the nearby boat ramp I headed for this one and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Swung by this cache on our way to the in-laws earlier today and it has indeed gone. Will get a replacement in place as soon as I can.
With limited time today I made a quick drive up to this area. While I had my sights on a particular cache in the area, basically for several particular challenges that I am trying to complete. While I found I had a little time left I scouted around the area to see what others I could complete, this was one of those. A little search around and I came up empty. Had a reasonable idea as to where but I couldn’t find it today, oh well next time.
